New GTA 6 delay has been avoided according to Rockstar job listings
Ever since Rockstar pushed back GTA 6 from autumn 2025 to May 26 next year, scarred fans have been dreading the possibility of another delay.
The concerns aren't unwarranted. Rockstar is known for delaying its games, and while it has rarely done so twice for one title, the developer set a new precedent with Red Dead Redemption 2. The western epic was originally slated for the second half of 2017, but it was pushed back twice before it finally came out on October 26, 2018.
For anyone concerned the same could happen with GTA 6, new job listings at Rockstar might help shake off that anxiety – although it's no guarantee.
As pointed out by Rockstar fan account GTA 6 Countdown, the studio's London office is currently hiring for various roles in quality assurance and release management. These include marketing localisation QA testers in a range of languages, including Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Polish, and Chinese.
These roles are revolved around providing 'dev support and localisation consultation' to the 'internal development, digital marketing, and publishing teams', and unless the developer has been cooking up some secret game we don't yet know about, it has to be connected to GTA 6.

Notably, these 11 available roles are all on a 12-month contracts, with the possibility of extensions, which roughly lines up with the launch of GTA 6 on May 26, 2026. More Trending
While it's possible Rockstar could still delay the title again and prepare the global marketing materials in advance, it's certainly an indicator that, right now, it doesn't expect that to happen.
They don't want to employ extra staff longer than they have to, so this is a firm indication that they think it's going to be out in May – especially as they haven't had a hiring spree like this before, for similar roles.
There's a chance these marketing hires could contribute to other games too. A Switch 2 port of Red Dead Redemption 2 has been rumoured for some time, along with a GTA 4 remaster.
Rockstar released a second trailer for GTA 6 shortly after the delay's announcement, which has since racked up over 123 million views on YouTube. There's no clue as to when we might hear anything new.

Matt Hey was excited to spend a few days of his European holiday relaxing at a resort in Sorrento, but he was in for a big surprise when he arrived at the accommodation A tourist was left baffled after arriving at what he believed was a luxury resort in Sorrento, Italy, only to find that his party were the only guests there. Matt Hey, from Sydney, Australia, had been travelling across Europe for four weeks, living in cheap accommodation in cities like London, Rome and Pisa to make the most of the experience travellling with friends. However, the party then decided to splash out on their next accommodation. As they were heading towards the Italian coastal town Sorrento, they decided to book in to what they believed was a luxurious resort by the sea. However, they soon realised their mishap when they arrived at their holiday destination. Taking to TikTok, Matt was seen recounting the moment they realised their "hotel resort" ended up coming with a lot more than they'd expected. "I'm just baffled, I'm honestly baffled," Matt said at the start of the video as he looked out over the view of the nearby sea. "This is bizarre." "So we got here, we walk through the gates up there," Matt said pointing to the gates in question. "We walk down here because Google Maps just said it was at the end there. We walk all the way down here and I'm saying 'wow, isn't this nice and peaceful and quiet.'" He went onto say he started to think it was weird that they hadn't seen another person on the premises. As they get to the main building, he goes onto explain that he first thought it looked like someone's house before assuming it's the reception area where they could check in, or possibly one of the rooms. "Anyway, so then I'm like, let's go around looking this way and we'll have a look," he said before the video cut to them arriving at a different area. "And we get down here and this is what I see." Warning: Below video may contain offensive language He went onto show a big patio with a view of the sea. There were also some tables and chairs to sit down at, but again not a single other person could be seen. He then turned the camera once again towards the house, which has a balcony with a big glass door on the first floor. "There's like a little wedding reception area sort of thing," he said before turning the camera to a different door of the house with white curtains hanging from it. They then walked closer to the end of the patio, which showed that the "hotel" was located right on a cliff which looked down onto the bright blue water, with a beach right below them. "Looks amazing, right? So I'm thinking, 'why haven't I seen anyone yet?'" he questioned, before revealing that a woman suddenly walked up to them asking if they needed help. Matt went onto say that he'd told the woman that they were in the wrong place, but said they were looking to check in to their room, to which she replied she'd call the concierge. They then continued to explore the area, finding another area that looked like a "wedding dance floor" according to Matt, who said he believed there must be smaller villas for them to stay in. The concierge then met them, and they proceeded to do the check in at one of the sitting areas by the dancefloor, before he handed them the key. He then took them to the house, which also looked like it'd been decorated for a wedding. "And to be clear, we thought we were getting a hotel," he said. "Don't get me know, I'm not complaining, we're going to have a beautiful time here. But we didn't need an entire wedding venue. I'm rattled, actually. Like, genuinely rattled." In the caption of the video, Matt revealed that they'd paid $600AUD (£292) per night to stay at Villa Antiche Mura Relais in Sorrento, which describes themselves as "villas for weddings" on their website. Taking to the comments, people were shocked when they realised just how much they'd gotten for their money. But some were also baffled as to how they'd managed to make this "mistake." "Is this Sorrento?? How is this 600 dollars?????" one baffled person asked. Another suggested: "Invite some locals round for a party not like you don't have set-up haha." "Send the details I've found my wedding venue," a third viewer said. Another person shared: "I got married in Tuscany because we got the wedding plus a full week's accommodations for 30 people for less than we would have paid for a single-day sit-down dinner wedding for 150 people at a major US city."

Andrea Ivanova, 27, has spent an estimated £20,000 on lip filler alone in her quest for extreme beauty - and new photos show her dramatic transformation from her natural appearance A woman who claims to have the "world's biggest lips" has revealed what she looked like before beginning her dramatic transformation. Since 2018, Andrea Ivanova, a 27-year-old woman from Bulgaria, has spent an estimated £20,000 on lip filler alone in pursuit of her extreme aesthetic. Now a social media personality, she has also undergone multiple procedures including chin enlargement and reshaping, jaw contouring, cheekbone enhancement and extensive lip augmentation. In recently released "before" photos, Andrea appears with naturally proportioned features — a stark contrast to her current dramatically altered appearance. "I like exaggerated things — huge lips, a face with many fillers, heavy and eccentric make-up," she explained. "Natural beauty is boring to me, so I decided to change my appearance radically." Her passion for transformation even led her to undergo six facial procedures in a single day — something her usual doctor refused to do due to safety concerns. Undeterred, Andrea found a surgeon in Germany who agreed to perform the treatments in February of last year. The procedures, however, came with significant physical discomfort. "I had pain all over my face. My jaw and chin hurt a lot, and it was hard to smile," she said at the time. "There was a pulling sensation across my cheekbones, but I knew it was normal because the filler hadn't yet settled." Despite the swelling, bruising, and difficulty eating, Andrea insisted her lips didn't hurt and described the pain as manageable. "The more filler there is, the less the area hurts,' she claimed. 'It's only a slight discomfort.' Although Andrea was initially thrilled with the results, even her German doctor has since voiced concerns about the long-term effects of her extreme cosmetic regimen — particularly the risk of necrosis, a serious condition in which tissue dies due to poor blood supply. The NHS warns that necrosis can be caused by trauma, radiation, or chemical exposure and may even be life-threatening. 'There are risks like inflammation and fever, especially with so many injections at once,' Andrea admitted. 'But I trust my doctor. They're a great professional in cosmetic surgery.' Andrea says she's aware of the potential dangers, but she remains committed to her aesthetic goals. 'You shouldn't judge people for their appearance — everyone has different tastes,' she said. 'It makes me very happy, and I plan to continue doing multiple injections in a single day in the future.' Plastic surgeon and aesthetic doctor Dr Leonard Josipovic blasted Andrea's doctor for carrying out the procedures, saying: "Boundaries have been crossed." 'As a board-certified plastic surgeon, I believe our role is not just to enhance appearances, but to protect patient safety, uphold ethical standards, and prioritise long-term wellbeing," he told The Mirror. "What we're seeing here goes far beyond aesthetic enhancement – this is extreme body modification, and it raises serious red flags around medical responsibility. "Repeated overfilling of the lips and face, especially in high-risk areas like the lips and nose, can lead to irreversible complications – including tissue death, vascular occlusion, permanent disfigurement, or even blindness. Allowing this degree of overcorrection is not in line with responsible, ethical medical practice." Dr Josipovic added: "Aesthetic medicine should never be about shock value. It's meant to empower patients and enhance natural beauty – not compromise health. When boundaries like this are crossed, it reflects a breakdown in proper patient screening, ethical oversight, and clinical judgement. As professionals, we must be brave enough to say no.'
