Life-threatening injuries after motorcycle collision, Brydges Street reopens
A motorcycle driver has been transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious collision on Brydges Street, according to police.
Emergency responders arrived on scene at approximately 1:50 p.m. and say the collision involved a motorcycle and sedan.
The road was closed between Egerton and Ashland Avenue.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.

Ontario SIU investigating use of anti-riot weapons against man in Gananoque, Ont.
Ontario's police watchdog is investigating the use of anti-riot weapons against a man in Gananoque last week. According to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), officers with the Gananoque Police Service were called to the area of Second Street and Victoria Avenue at around 4:30 p.m. Friday on reports of a disturbance. A man barricaded himself inside a home when police arrived, the SIU says. Ontario Provincial Police were called in to assist Gananoque police at the scene. OPP officers entered the home shortly before midnight and encountered the man, who the SIU says was 'armed with edged weapons.' Two officers fired their anti-riot weapon enfields (ARWENs) at the 42-year-old man, and a police dog was released. The SIU says the man was transported to hospital for treatment. No details on his condition or the severity of his injuries were provided in a news release. Missing 21-year-old Thompson man found dead
Social Sharing A 21-year-old man missing for almost two weeks in northern Manitoba has been found dead, RCMP say. No information was provided by police on Monday about where Kayden Gibbs was located or when, only a brief news release saying he was found deceased. Gibbs had last been seen in the evening of Aug. 7 on Pipe Road in the city about 760 kilometres north of Winnipeg. RCMP issued a news release last week, saying they were concerned about his well-being and urging anyone who saw him to call police.
