Two Barcelona stars picked up injury concerns against Atlético Madrid

Stoppers Cubarsí and Iñigo both featured from the off on Wednesday night, as Barcelona locked horns with Atlético Madrid in the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
En route to a hard-fought 1-0 triumph, however, the two Spaniards picked up injury concerns.
As per Sport:
'Cubarsí felt some muscle discomfort in the early stages of the second-half. Faced with this warning, Flick did not want to risk the slightest and decided to replace the homegrown player.'
In the case of Iñigo, meanwhile:
'He also ended up with a slight injury in the hamstring area.'
It now remains to be seen if either player is risked when Barcelona turn attentions back towards matters in La Liga in a meeting with Real Betis this weekend.

Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen interested in signing La Liga defender
Aston Villa have regularly looked at the La Liga market since Unai Emery's arrival, and they will do so again this summer in their efforts to improve their defensive options ahead of the 2025-26 season kicking off in August. Aston Villa sporting director is also very familiar with the La Liga market, having worked at Sevilla for many years prior to making the move to Villa Park. And he is keen to bring a player from his former club to the Premier League side. Aston Villa reignite interest in Sevilla defender Loic Bade As reported by MD, Aston Villa are interested in signing Loic Bade this summer, following his impressive France debut during the UEFA Nations League earlier this month. Image via ABC / EP Advertisement Bade has already attracted interest from Aston Villa, but he rejected the opportunity to move during the winter transfer window. But now that the season is over, he could be more willing to join the Villains, who will be playing in the Europa League next season, a competition that he has already won with Sevilla back in 2023. Bayer Leverkusen also keen on making a move for Bade As well as Aston Villa, the report also notes that Bayer Leverkusen want to sign Bade as a replacement for Jonathan Tah, the former Barcelona and Real Madrid target that recently signed for Bayern Munich. Sevilla are expected to consider Bade's sale, as they aim to raise funds for their own transfer business – as well as ease their well-documented financial problems. They reportedly turned down an offer of €20m in January, but they could well look to sell if a proposal in the same region were to arrive in the coming weeks. Bade has been an excellent player for Sevilla over the last 2.5 years, but his departure this summer seems inevitable. And when he does go, he is sure to leave with the best wishes of those at Los Nervionenses.

FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Betting Odds: List of All Teams and Their Chances
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Part of the joy (or stress) of sports is that anything can happen between the whistles. Do favorites usually come out on top? Sure, but we've all seen plenty of upsets. That's especially true in a tournament; it seems like there's always at least one underdog that makes a fairy tale run. And with this year's expanded FIFA Club World Cup field, there are bound to be plenty of opportunities for an upset. Most fans have probably heard of clubs like PSG, Real Madrid and Manchester City, but how do you assess a matchup between the likes of Wydad AC and Al Ain FC? With that in mind, let's take a look every club's odds (per FanDuel) of winning the entire tournament. Just remember that these were from before play kicked off, and a single result can turn everything upside down. Kylian Mbappé of Real Madrid celebrates scoring his team's first goal from the penalty spot during a LaLiga match at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on March 29, 2025 in Madrid, Spain. Kylian Mbappé of Real Madrid celebrates scoring his team's first goal from the penalty spot during a LaLiga match at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on March 29, 2025 in Madrid, Will Play in the Club World Cup 2025? In previous years, the Club World Cup was a relatively small affair featuring the champions of each confederation's tournament plus a host representative. This time around, though, the field was expanded to 32 teams. So who's in the competition? The full list is: SE Palmeiras (BRA) FC Porto (POR) Al Ahly FC (EGY) Inter Miami CF (USA) Paris Saint-Germain (FRA) Atlético de Madrid (ESP) Botafogo (BRA) Seattle Sounders FC (USA) FC Bayern München (GER) Auckland City FC (NZL) CA Boca Juniors (ARG) SL Benfica (POR) CR Flamengo (BRA) Espérance Sportive de Tunis (TUN) Chelsea FC (ENG) Los Angeles Football Club (USA) CA River Plate (ARG) Urawa Red Diamonds (JPN) CF Monterrey (MEX) FC Internazionale Milano (ITA) Fluminense FC (BRA) Borussia Dortmund (GER) Ulsan HD (KOR) Mamelodi Sundowns FC (RSA) Manchester City (ENG) Wydad AC (MOR) Al Ain FC (UAE) Juventus FC (ITA) Real Madrid C. F. (ESP) Al Hilal Saudi FC (KSA) CF Pachuca (MEX) FC Salzburg (AUT) When Is FIFA Club World Cup 2025? Since we're working with a bigger tournament field, this year's event will logically need to include more games. So, when will those take place? Group play kicks off on Saturday June 14, when Lionel Messi's Inter Miami takes on Al Ahly. Things will proceed for just under two weeks, and the Round of 16 will start on Saturday, June 28. After four match days, the quarterfinals will take place on July 4 and 5. The semifinal showdowns are on July 8 and 9. The tournament will then wrap up on Sunday, July 13 when the two final teams take the pitch in New Jersey. Group A Betting Odds SE Palmeiras: 31-1 FC Porto: 38-1 Al Ahly FC: 100-1 Inter Miami CF: 60-1 While Lionel Messi's Inter Miami will probably command plenty of eyeballs, it's not the favorite from within this group. That distinction goes to Brazil's Palmeiras, although Porto (Portugal) has a similar chance of lifting the trophy in the oddsmakers' eyes. Group B Betting Odds Paris Saint-Germain: 4.7-1 Atlético de Madrid: 15-1 Botafogo: 47-1 Seattle Sounders FC: 90-1 As the reigning UEFA Champions League winners, PSG understandably comes into this tournament as one of the favorites. They have the second-best odds overall. Atletico Madrid isn't a slouch, though, starting the tournament as the sixth-favorite squad. Group C Betting Odds FC Bayern München: 7-1 Auckland City FC: 1000-1 CA Boca Juniors: 38-1 SL Benfica: 38-1 In soccer, the size of your wage bill generally determines your success, and that reality shows up here as Bayern Munich towers over the competition. Benfica and Boca Juniors both have respectable odds, but they're in a different class from the German giant. A detailed view of the FIFA Club World Cup trophy on display at BMO Stadium before the game between the Los Angeles FC and the Sporting Kansas City on June 08, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. MoreGroup D Betting Odds CR Flamengo: 31-1 Espérance Sportive de Tunis: 370-1 Chelsea FC: 10-1 Los Angeles Football Club: 75-1 Chelsea didn't have a perfect season, but they still finished in England's Champions League places and won the UEFA Conference League. Critics will say they did that by beating up on weaker competition, but they're one of the stronger squads in the Club World Cup, at least on paper. Group E Betting Odds CA River Plate: 38-1 Urawa Red Diamonds: 170-1 CF Monterrey: 170-1 FC Internazionale Milano: 17-1 Inter may have stumbled down the stretch in both their domestic league and the Champions League, but it's still the strongest team in their group. This will also be an early chance to see how Cristian Chivu, who's replacing Simone Inzaghi on the bench, will run things. Group F Betting Odds Fluminense FC: 47-1 Borussia Dortmund: 26-1 Ulsan HD: 150-1 Mamelodi Sundowns FC: 370-1 Dortmund is the beneficiary of a weak group, at least on paper. They probably won't win it all, but dealing with these three opponents shouldn't be too stern of a test. Group G Betting Odds Manchester City: 5-1 Wydad AC: 370-1 Al Ain FC: 150-1 Juventus FC: 26-1 Despite a down year, Manchester City towers over the Club World Cup as the third-favorite to win it all. If the newest additions—Rayan Aït-Nouri, Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders—hit the ground running, there's no reason to think City won't push toward the final. Group H Betting Odds Real Madrid C. F.: 4.1-1 Al Hilal: 60-1 CF Pachuca: 110-1 FC Salzburg: 75-1 While Real Madrid might have struggled on the European stage (at least by the club's lofty standards), it's impossible to argue with the attacking talent on their roster. Do Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo fit together perfectly as a front three? No, but they should be able to overpower weaker opposition.
