Constituency-level workshops have begun to ensure the success of the programme, which aims to uplift families from poverty through guidance provided by Margadarsi. He motivated the officials to work diligently and thoughtfully, noting that such efforts could lead to remarkable outcomes. He stressed the importance of continuous support and coordination until each family reaches a certain level of stability. The district collector instructed the Grama Sachivalayam staff to contact the families and conduct a needs survey to understand their requirements, ensuring effective coordination with Margadarsi.

Collector urges volunteers to adopt families under P4 scheme
Paderu (ASR District): Alluri Sitarama Raju district collector AS Dinesh Kumar has called upon volunteers and mentors to come forward and adopt 'Bangaru Kutumbalu' (Golden Families) under the prestigious P4 (Public, Private, People Partnership) programme. Addressing a media conference at the District Collectorate on Monday, the collector said the innovative P4 scheme was launched in March by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu with the goal of transforming lives through collective partnerships. A detailed survey was conducted from March 9 to 25 to identify underprivileged families eligible for support. The collector said that out of 352 village and ward secretariats in the district, a survey was completed in 144, identifying 92,683 Bangaru families with a total population of 3,13,041 members. He appealed to donors and citizens to adopt these families to support their social and economic development. He clarified that financial aid is not mandatory for mentors, and simply guiding and mentoring the families would be sufficient. The primary goal of the P4 scheme is to uplift families from poverty to prosperity, he stressed. He also mentioned that details of eligible Bangaru families have been uploaded online, making it possible for anyone across the country to adopt a family through the portal. The district administration will always be available to assist the mentors throughout their journey. Setting an example, the Collector himself adopted a farm labourer's family from Ainada village in Paderu mandal. Joint Collector Dr MJ Abhishek Gowda also adopted a family from Guthulaputtu village. Collector AS Dinesh Kumar also announced that the 'Aakanksha Hot' programme will be conducted from August 2 to 25 as part of the Sampoornta Abhiyaan Samman Samaroh initiative. He expressed happiness over the district being recognised as an Aspirational District under the NITI Aayog framework. He said that in the Rampachodavaram division, Gangavaram, Maredumilli, and Mylavaram blocks have been identified as aspirational blocks. The programme will focus on six key areas Health & Nutrition, Agriculture, Education, Model School Development, and Social Development. The collector informed that the district has received an incentive of Rs 10 crore under NITI Aayog's support. Branding coffee and other horticulture crops under the label 'Made in Araku' has opened up better income opportunities for tribal farmers, he noted. TRICOR Collector Sahith, Deputy Collector MS Lokeswara Rao, CPO PVL Prasad, and other officials were present at the media interaction.

Speed up identification of ‘Bangaru Kutumbalu', officials told
Puttaparthi (Sri Sathya Sai district):District Collector T S Chetan has instructed officials to accelerate the identification of Bangaru families and mentors, and ensure swift documentation and online registration. Speaking via video-conference from the local Collectorate on Friday, the Collector reviewed progress on P4-related activities, including adoption of Bangaru families, mentor selection and registration, gram sabhas, delivery of government welfare schemes, and public feedback. Addressing RDOs, constituency and mandal special officers, MPDOs, and tahsildars, the Collector emphasised that field-level identification and adoption of Bangaru families, as well as mentor appointments, must be completed promptly and registered online without delay. He also stressed the importance of organising gram sabhas in coordination with all departments to gather positive public feedback. Collector Chetan directed that documentation from field offices be uploaded without delay and instructed officials to ensure that pension distribution on August 1st proceeds smoothly, despite any staff transfers in village secretariats. Weekly inspections of hostel facilities were also mandated to check drinking water supply, pipe repairs, and other necessities. Any issues found during inspections must be resolved immediately. To prevent the spread of seasonal diseases, hostel students should be provided with boiled and cooled drinking water, he said. MPDOs were told to promptly verify and process applications submitted under the 'Thalliki Vandhanam' scheme. The eKYC process must also be completed swiftly, with no room for errors in migration records. The Collector stressed that public services being implemented under government flagship programmes should receive positive responses from the people, and steps must be taken to achieve that. Among the officials who participated in the video-conference were CPO Vijay Kumar, DRDA PD Narasayya, SDCs Suryanarayana Reddy and Ramasubbayya, DD of Social Welfare Shiv Ranga Prasad, RWS SE, SSA PO Jayaraju, Deputy CEO of ZP and others.

P-4 Concept: Select Margadarsis on war-footing, officials told
Nellore: District Collector O Anand has directed the officials to ensure the success of State government's prestigious P-4 concept by selecting the 'Margadarsis' in a war-footing manner. Addressing the review meeting of all departments officials here on Monday, the Collector has said that following the directions of the government, as many as 50,000 Margadarsis should be picked in Nellore district against the total figure of 15 lakh in the entire State by August 15. The Collector said that the selection of Margadarsis should be taken up in a campaign mode. Otherwise, it will not be possible to complete such mammoth task. Each Margadarsi is expected to at least adopt one Bangaru Kutumbam. The Collector directed that the engineering department should initiate steps of selecting not less than 500, while DRDA, Panchayat Raj, RWS, Medical & Health, R&B, APSPDCL and Education department more than 2,000 in the interest of completing the targets in a time-bound manner. The Collector suggested to the officials to seek the cooperation of local social activists and voluntary organisations if it's necessary. The Collector ordered them to begin the process in coming four days.
