The pair, who went official last August, cooled things off a few weeks ago after they failed to see eye-to-eye on a few things.
A source said: "Liberty and Joshua made the tough decision to end their relationship.
"They had an amazing year together, especially in the early stages when they were attached at the hip and going on holidays.
"They loved getting to know each other, despite concerns from her friends that he was using her for fame.

"But once the honeymoon period was over, it was clear that they weren't a compatible match long-term.
"Liberty is focusing on her new business and only wants people around her that are truly supportive.
"It was fun while it lasted, but they both have different priorities and they couldn't make it work."
The Sun approached reps for comment.

Since the split, Liberty and Joshua have unfollowed each other on social media.
Joshua has wiped his Instagram grid of all of his photos with Liberty, but has continued to post snaps of him on nights out and DJ'ing.

At the time, they noted that he has been involved in various high-profile TV projects and they are worried about what his true intentions were.
A source previously told The Sun: "Liberty's pals are worried she's heading for more heartbreak.
"Her new man has been on reality shows in the past and clearly likes the spotlight.

"But Lib is smitten and has insisted he's not using her for fame.'
The insider also revealed that fans of her are worried that she might be heading for heartbreak yet again.
"She's one of the most popular contestants to come from the Love Island franchise, fresh off her All Stars appearance and is very in demand.
"She's been hurt by blokes in the past and the last thing she needs is to be hurt again."

Liberty shot to fame on Love Island 2021, where she famously walked away from the villa following her break up with ex-boyfriend Jake Cornish.
She later went on to compete in 2023's Spin Off show Love Island Games where she was once again reunited with Jake.
But after his exit, she started to explore a connection with Mitch Taylor.
However, she was eliminated from the island on Day 13 after failing to find anything romantic with him.

So there we have it. Gregg Wallace may be many things, but he is not a trouser-dropper – unlike the anonymous semi-flasher on the Underground, who definitely was, has now been detained for his own good under the Mental Health Act. A warning, perhaps, to those of us who, now that the weather is becoming disconcertingly warm once again, might fancy a little impromptu chino removal on public transport for our comfort. Yet in truth, the idea of taking down one's trousers is an innate source of English fascination that has been a staple of comedy since Chaucer and Shakespeare, and is likely to remain so until the day we are all wafting round in unisex kimonos. The reason why trousers – more than any other form of attire – are imbued with such comic potential is that the average English gentleman associates them with his dignity. In my home city of Oxford, I have seen many cruelly abandoned pairs of formal trews in the street, presumably after a heavily misspent night involving fine wine. Nor is this limited to the young. A friend tells how, after a wild evening on Clapham Common with some newfound friends resulted in his being debagged, he cycled past the scene of the crime the next day to see his once-beloved slacks fluttering mournfully in the wind – the mute observer to whatever unspeakable things had happened in that particular spot. As for the shame's memorialisation in memoir, another friend – a leading light in the entertainment industry – has confessed that, should he ever put finger to keyboard and write his autobiography, it could only be called A Life Without Trousers, so torrid have his exploits in this field been. I would dearly love at this point to confess that I know nothing of such things, but unfortunately I recently had my own narrow brush with infamy. A few months ago, I was strolling along Hampstead Heath with my family when, to our horror, a tree fell just behind us, nearly causing grave hurt, or worse. We scrambled to safety just in time, with no worse injury than a few cuts and bruises – but as I realised that we were largely unharmed, I also realised that the sudden impact on the ground had sent my kecks cascading round my knees. To be found dead and trouserless on Hampstead Heath: now that, I fear, is the end that many of my enemies would wish on me. But I intend to give them the dissatisfaction of continuing to live – with the bottom of my trousers rolled – for many a well-furnished year to come, God willing.

Michael Barrymore reached out to fans for support in a heartbreaking TikTok video in which the comedian and TV presenter told of his mini strokes and "uncontrollable seizures" Veteran TV presenter Michael Barrymore has been diagnosed with epilepsy at 73 - after experiencing a mini stroke. The host, known for his work on game shows and light entertainment programmes, told fans on TikTok about his "uncontrollable seizures" which have happened as a result of his epilepsy. Epilepsy, a tendency to have repeated seizures which start in the brain, is often diagnosed in younger years but Michael said he has developed it in his 70s. And the star, who headlined the Royal Variety Performance in 1993, thanked fans for their support. In his emotional TikTok, Michael said: "A mini stroke caused me to develop epilepsy where I have uncontrollable seizures... I suffer from cluster seizures, which affects a quarter of people with epilepsy. It means I have more than one, usually three individual seizures in a short period of time."
