Shah Rukh Khan says he has little talent, wins internet with his humble remark: 'I work very hard on the gift of God'
Shah Rukh Khan says he still works very hard on his talent
During the AMA session on Saturday, a fan asked, 'Shah, do you still work on your expressions and voice modulation, or is it God-gifted?' To this, Shah Rukh replied, 'Talent without hard work is way less than hard work with little talent. I am in the latter category, so I work very hard on the gift of God.'
Fans were delighted by his answer. One commented, 'Wake up babe, SRK just dropped a new quote today.' Another wrote, 'Agreed @iamsrk — without hard work, talent is nothing.' A fan remarked, 'His passion for working hard never fades away.' Another quipped, 'SRK, every fan thinks they have a question you can't answer… but do you secretly have an 'SRK magic folder' for these?' One more admirer added, 'There's zero doubt about you giving your 1000%, but your talent is limitless, so stop being modest, my humble king.'
Shah Rukh made his grand Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana alongside Divya Bharti, which emerged as a box office hit. Now, after 33 years in the industry, the actor has finally received his first National Award for Best Actor for his role in the 2024 blockbuster Jawan. He shared the honour with Vikrant Massey, who won for 12th Fail. While many fans celebrated his win, others felt he should have received the award earlier for films like Swades and My Name Is Khan.
Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming project
The actor is currently busy filming his upcoming movie King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film will also star his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Saurabh Shukla and Jaideep Ahlawat. Although the cast is yet to be officially confirmed, reports suggest that Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Raghav Juyal and Jackie Shroff will also feature in the film. Currently under production, its release date is yet to be announced.

‘I'm always scared of this word ‘ambition': Ranbir Kapoor reveals his definition of ambition and what drives him in life
Ranbir Kapoor's latest brainchild, ARKS — a lifestyle brand– recently dropped a new fragrance, and its promotions saw social media stars conversing with the Bollywood actor on all things work, fashion, and ambition. During the second episode of ARKS Insiders, What Makes My Day – Ambition, Kapoor and digital creator Sahiba Bali engaged in a long, drawn conversation about all things ambition, drive and purpose in life, as well as the little rituals that shape their day. For them, ambition isn't loud; it's deeply personal. It's in the quiet discipline, the perfect fit, and the scent that sets the tone. Because ambition doesn't always shout, sometimes, it simply shows up. 'I think when you are super ambitious, which you are, discipline is actually that one key that leads you to achieving what you want,' Bali told the Jagga Jasoos actor, to which he replied: 'I'm ambitious, of course, you know. I have a certain vision for myself. So I'm always scared of this word ambition, because ambition is a very personal thing,' he said. 'But when someone says you are super ambitious, it also comes with trampling other people and kind of trying to move ahead in life,' he added. According to Ashish Pillay, Psychologist at Mpower, Aditya Birla Education Trust, Ranbir's mindset on ambition is a beautiful example of self-awareness. 'He doesn't reject ambition, but he questions the kind that's rooted in ego, competition, or blind pursuit. He embraces growth but not at the cost of joy or integrity. He understands that ambition can be deeply personal, and it doesn't always need to be broadcasted or validated externally,' he said. That humility, coming from public figures, makes a huge impact. 'In a world that celebrates hustle culture, their conversation gently offers another path. One that values consistency over obsession, presence over perfection, and self-care over self-sacrifice,' mentioned Pillai. 'Healthy ambition makes you come alive it inspires you to grow, without losing your soul in the process. It allows room for gratitude, curiosity, and self-compassion. Toxic ambition, on the other hand, demands constant hustle, breeds insecurity, and measures worth only by productivity or accolades,' said Pillai, adding that Ranbir's message for all of us is to live well, be kind to every person, enjoy the little things, and not to overthink. He added that ambition doesn't have to be a storm, it can be a quiet, steady fire that keeps you warm, not one that burns you out. 'And sometimes, ambition can be as simple as showing up, dressing in what makes you feel good, and being kind. And maybe that's everything,' concluded the expert.

TDP MLA Prasad Daggupati apologised after a leaked audio abusing Jr NTR went viral, sparking backlash. TDP MLA Prasad Daggupati has landed in the middle of a controversy after a leaked audio clip went viral, allegedly featuring him hurling abuses at Jr NTR and threatening to block the actor's latest release War 2 from being screened in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. In the audio, a voice purportedly belonging to Daggupati is heard warning that the film would not run in his constituency. 'It doesn't matter. War 2 will not be released, it won't run, it won't run. I am the MLA here," the speaker can be heard saying when another person tried to reason with him. The remarks sparked outrage among Jr NTR's fans, many of whom took to social media to condemn the alleged statements. MLA Issues Clarification and Apology Following the backlash, Prasad Daggupati posted a video message on X (formerly Twitter), denying any involvement and calling the viral clip part of a political conspiracy. Speaking in Telugu, he said: 'Those audio calls are not mine. This is all being done as part of a political conspiracy. For the past 16 months, conspiracies have been plotted against me in the Urban constituency. From the beginning, I have been an admirer of the Nandamuri family. I have always loved watching Balakrishna and NTR's movies. But now, fake audio calls have been created as if I abused Jr NTR. That call is fake, there is no truth in it." #MLADaggupatiPrasad #AtpMLA #NTR @tarak9999 — Prasad Daggupati (@PrasadDOfficial) August 17, 2025 The MLA further revealed that he has already lodged a complaint with the district SP and assured that the police will investigate. At the same time, he acknowledged the hurt sentiments of NTR's fans and offered an apology despite denying any involvement. 'If the audio call has hurt the sentiments of NTR's fans, I apologise. Though I have no connection to it, since my name has been mentioned, I am offering this apology. I will always remain loyal to the Nara and Nandamuri families," he said. Background Prasad Daggupati's clarification comes at a time when Jr NTR enjoys massive popularity, and War 2—one of the most anticipated releases—is under the spotlight. The controversy has further fuelled fan debates online, with many awaiting the outcome of the police investigation. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Sunny Leone's Go-To Skincare Hack For Glowing Skin Is Already In Your Backyard
Sunny Leone is one of the most popular actors in the Bollywood industry. The 44-year-old who launched her skincare brand in 2017 recently revealed a simple DIY skincare hack that helps her take care of her skin. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sunny Leone revealed that she follows a strict routine and one that only caters to the needs of her skin. The Baby Doll star also shared that she makes sure to follow her skincare routine regularly. Sharing her non-negotiables when it comes to skincare, the actor and model revealed that she would always wash her face and put on her night skincare. "That is needed whether you're young or you're older. When you're younger, it's all about preventative care, and when you're older, it's about maintaining the skin," she told the publication. Sunny Leone Approved Skincare Hacks And Tips Aloe vera is known for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant properties and can help you get rid of acne. And Sunny Leone swears by it too. She shared, "If you are breaking out, keep it (aloe vera) in your backyard or on your patio, your porch, or inside the house. And when you're having a crazy breakout or you just want a really nice mask, cut one of those up, smash it up, put it on your face, wash it off, and see the glow." Another thing Sunny Leone swears by when it comes to her skincare routine is always taking time out to take care of her skin. She urges all women to take at least an hour to take care of themselves. "I don't always get time for self-maintenance, so I try and make the time when the kids are at school. It really does take effort to take care of yourself. You have to come to terms with that. Letting go of yourself is definitely not worth it. Maybe at that moment you might feel good, but one month from now, two months from now, you're going to go, 'Oh, I hate my skin or I hate the way I'm looking.' So, you have to make the time. That one hour for yourself is important to take care of yourself," she added. Sunny Leone's skincare tips and hacks are worth trying, and you should definitely give them a try. However, don't forget to check with your dermatologist first.
