What did Abdeslam Ouaddou say to Orlando Pirates fans!
Orlando Pirates manager Abdeslam Ouaddou commended his team's resilience after they clawed back to secure a 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final first leg.
Following consecutive league defeats, the Buccaneers delivered their strongest display of the season, salvaging a late equalizer at Orlando Stadium. "Yes, I think they showed a fantastic performance today," Ouaddou told SuperSport TV. "It's what we expect from our players when we play for such a big club. Let's keep going."
While pleased with the improved showing, the coach acknowledged the need for results to reflect performances. "The content today was interesting—we showed character, strength from our boys," he said. "But in football, sometimes it's not easy because the result has to match the performance."
Ouaddou specifically highlighted the importance of squad depth and fan support. "We still have other players who maybe weren't on the bench or the pitch. Everybody will be important," he noted, adding, "I should praise fans to be patient. I know it's not the way in big clubs, but I hope they will be patient with us."
The Moroccan tactician particularly lauded his team's mentality after fighting back from a deficit. "At the moment, the result isn't matching the performance," he admitted. 'But let's hope in the future, we'll get the results we deserve.'

NFL Legend Tom Brady's Preseason Game Outfit is Making Headlines
NFL Legend Tom Brady's Preseason Game Outfit is Making Headlines originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After spending 20 years with the New England Patriots and his final three years in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady has since retired and moved on to a different role: being a minority team owner for a franchise. Brady became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders after his purchase of a minority stake in the team was approved back in October 2024. According to a report by the Bucs, Brady took approximately a 5% stake in the franchise. Now, amid his busy schedule handling his various businesses and commitments, Brady is in full owner mode. On Saturday, the seven-time Super Bowl champion even made an appearance for the Raiders' preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers. As he arrived at Allegiant Stadium, however, what stood out was his look. Brady entered the stadium wearing a black-and-white Raiders varsity jacket, which grabbed attention for a variety of reasons. Many still can't believe that he's now with the Raiders, considering his iconic careers with the Patriots and Buccaneers. Furthermore, Brady used to dominate the Raiders during his time playing in the NFL. TB12 is 5-1 against the franchise throughout his career. "That just doesn't look right," a commenter wrote. Another one echoed a similar sentiment, writing, "So weird seeing Brady wear Raiders apparel….. I know he's a part owner now just saying it feels weird." "This don't look right," a fan added. A supporter shared, "Raiders Owner since 2002." "The fact that Brady's legacy started against the Raiders, and now he's owning it makes him even more the goat hahah," a follower remarked. A sixth social media user stated, "That jacket is tuff fr." Brady Has Some NFL Restrictions Because of His Raiders Ownership Brady's ownership of the Raiders comes with plenty of challenges. For one, the NFL placed restrictions on his broadcasting work because of his stake in the Las Vegas team, as he is "not permitted to attend in-person or online broadcast production meetings and may not have access to team facilities, players or coaches." Regardless, Brady seems to be enjoying his Raiders ownership and making the most of story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Aug 17, 2025, where it first appeared.

File Photo by Steve Nesius/UPI | License Photo Aug. 21 (UPI) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers activated veteran wide receiver Chris Godwin off the physically unable to perform list, coach Todd Bowles told reporters Thursday. Godwin, who is recovering from an ankle injury that occurred last season, could return before Week 5 because of the move, as players who start the season on the list are ineligible for the first four games. "He's taken off the PUP list," Bowles said. "But he's got to get in football shape and everything else, so I wouldn't expect him to play early on." Bowles said that star left tackle Tristan Wirfs, who is dealing with a knee issue, also will start the season on the Buccaneers' active roster. Godwin signed a three-year, $66 million contract with the Buccaneers this off-season. He was listed as a starter alongside Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan on the initial unofficial depth chart. McMillan, a third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, hurt his neck during the Buccaneers' preseason win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday in Pittsburgh. He is expected to miss significant playing time. Emeka Egbuka, the No. 19 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Trey Palmer, Tez Johnson, Rakim Jarrett, Sterling Shepard, Dennis Houston, Jacob Harris, Garrett Green, Jaden Smith, Kameron Johnson and Ryan Miller are among the Buccaneers' other wide receivers. McMillan accounted for 37 catches for 461 yards and eight scores over 13 appearances for the Buccaneers last season. Godwin totaled 50 catches for 576 yards and five scores over seven starts in 2024. The Buccaneers will host the Buffalo Bills in their preseason finale at 7:30 p.m. EDT Saturday in Tampa, Fla. They will play the Atlanta Falcons in their season opener Sept. 7 in Atlanta.
