Daily Mirror11-07-2025
One customer said: 'Wonderful PJs. Cool, comfortable and really pretty. Well worth the money.'
For those who toss and turn trying to sleep in a heatwave, then Amazon customers think they might have found the answer. Shoppers have been raving about the Amorbella Short Sleeve Capri Pyjamas which come in multiple colours, including staple black and a summery light green.
The pyjamas, which have a 4.4-star average rating out of a possible five stars on the online marketplace claim to be 'super cooling'. The listing goes on to say the pyjamas are made from moisture wicking fabric which 'is perfect for people who suffer from night sweats.'
The PJs, which retail for £26, are available in sizes S-XXL and shoppers have left rave reviews for the set, with one saying they liked them so much they wanted to get multiple pairs. Their review reads: "Fantastic! Great fit that's true to size, lovely light and soft fabric, good quality and well made. Will be getting more!"
Another wrote "Wonderful PJs. Cool, comfortable and really pretty. Well worth the money." A third added "They are very soft, comfy and hold their shape after multiple washes if you hang them to dry. The black colour has not faded at all!"
Other cooling pyjamas available on the high street include Oodie's cooling pyjama top for £39, which can also be purchased with the matching shorts retailing for £39. They're described as being 'buttery soft' and 'naturally cooling' on the brand's website.

Over at M&S you can also shop their Cool Comfort Printed Shortie Set for £20 which uses the brand's Cool Comfort™ technology to regulate body temperature. Also available from TU Clothing are the Neutral Stripe COOLMAX® Blend Co Ord Pyjama bottoms for £13, which can be teamed with the matching top for £9. They use COOLMAX® technology to keep you cool and dry throughout the night.
If you're thinking of buying the Amazon Amorbella Capri Pyjamas then it's worth noting that one reviewer said: "Soft and silky next to the skin, very comfortable to sleep in. Only one slight downside is the waist elastic is a bit tight but I can deal with that by putting an extra length of elastic in myself. Apart that that minor detail I'm very happy with these pyjamas."
However, others were singing the pyjamas praises, with one happy customer writing: "Great cool material...if you're someone like me who's hot at night, these are for you. They worked a treat for me."
Another was equally thrilled with their purchase, saying: "Very pleased with these pyjamas, they are light and comfortable to wear whatever the temperature."

Fast-growing lawn seed can transform gardens 'in 10 days' with 'thick and lush' grass

Fast-growing lawn seed can transform gardens 'in 10 days' with 'thick and lush' grass Gardeners says the pet-friendly product breathes new life into lawns To get your garden looking its best, try reseeding (Image: Akabei via Getty Images) After what can only be described as a scorching UK summer, many gardens are looking worse for wear. While basking in endless sunshine and heatwaves might feel like a dream, our lawns often pay the price - turning dry, patchy, and lifeless. If your grass has gone from lush green to brittle brown, you're not alone. Luckily, there's an easy fix: reseeding. Garden lovers hoping to revive their tired turf can turn to grass seed as a reliable, cost-effective solution. While local garden centres stock plenty of options, you don't even need to leave the house as many top-rated products are available on Amazon for speedy doorstep delivery. One brand that's been gaining serious attention is GroundMaster. Their most popular product is the Premium Lawn Grass Seed, which is available in a variety of bag sizes, ranging from as small as 500grams to as large as 25kg sacks. Prices vary from £10 for the smallest bag to £124.99 for the largest option. The grass seeds provide coverage up to 60 square metres per kg. They're also pet-friendly and can breathe new life into lawns in any season. So far, the product has garnered more than 5,000 customer reviews and ratings on Amazon, reports the Mirror. One customer reported seeing results in '10 days', after adhering to the instructions on the pack. They added: "I also sprinkled a thin layer of fine soil over the top to hide the seed from the birds that would have eaten it all. "I kept the seed watered - never letting it dry out, then about 10 days later the seed just burst into life. I've now got a nice green lawn. This is the second 5kg bag of this I've bought, and I'd buy it if I needed any more." Meanwhile, B&Q stocks Verve Universal Grass seeds for £10 per 1.5kg box. The product boasts excellent reviews, with one customer commenting: "Bought before and renewed lawn resulting in thick, lush grass even in shady areas." Specialist shade-resistant grass seed is also on offer, such as the Gro-Sure Shady Lawn Seed, priced at £9 from Wickes. Its blue coating deters birds whilst providing nourishment to the seed. Another Amazon customer who tried GroundMaster's Premium Lawn Grass Seed reported 'fast-growing' results and a 'lovely, strong-looking grass'. They added: "Approximately three weeks after planting and watering the seeds well, the grass started to come through, and it's looking really good. "It still needs to thicken up a bit, but I am pleased with its progress so far and would recommend this seed." Love dreamy Welsh homes? Not quite living up to expectations." An additional purchaser commented: "Great value for money! I'm forever buying boxes of seed, especially in the spring, to bring the grass back to life after winter. I decided to go for a 5kg bag to help me, as the lawn was so patchy. She then picked up a pergola, which was £90 down from £150 - and added two sets of solar lights that she got paid £30 for. To add a pop of colour and nature, she forked out for hanging baskets for £5 each, and she also snapped up a corner lamp and table for £30 from The Range. Another thing she did was to add fake grass to the floor, which she got reduced in B&M for just £7, and put fake Wisteria from Amazon around the walls. Although she got it last year, she said it was around the 'end of August' so you should watch out to see if it gets reduced this year too.
