Inter Milan are reportedly considering a move for Roma midfieleder Manu Kone with talks for Ademola Lookman at a standstill. This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri may change their strategy if they're unable to sign Lookman. Inter Milan have been trying to sign for a better part of a month now. However, as Sky Sport Italia note, there have been no contacts between the Nerazzurri and Atalanta for a week now. Therefore, Inter now feel that their pursuit of Lookman has completely stalled. Therefore, Inter may well have enough options to fill the attacking position in Cristian Chivu's 3-4-2-1 formation. On the other hand, there are persistent doubts about whether the Nerazzurri have enough defensive steel and athleticism in holding midfield. Atletico Madrid and Juventus open surprise talks over double deal
Atletico Madrid were expected to do little more business in the transfer market, but with the La Liga kick-off a little over 24 hours away, Los Colchoneros are now involved in talks with Juventus over two players. The word coming from the Metropolitano was that Los Rojiblancos would not be doing any more business this summer unless there were exits, beyond that of forward Carlos Martin. However two reports have emerged out of the blue. Discussions for Nicolas Gonzalez Matteo Moretto has reported that Atletico Madrid have opened talks for Juventus winger Nicolas Gonzalez, in a move that could be a permanent deal. The Argentina international is not a key part of Juventus' plans, just a season after arriving at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. The Biaconeri spent €36.5m on Gonzalez over the course of his loan and permanent move from Fiorentina. The 27-year-old is open to the move. Juventus interested in Nahuel Molina Image viaMeanwhile less than an hour apart, German Garcia Grova of TyC Sports has assured that La Vecchia Signora have also opened talks with Atletico for right-back Nahuel Molina. He was linked with an exit earlier in the window, and has a deal until 2027. ATP men's tennis tour says its profit-sharing plan is adding $18 million in prizes for 2024
LONDON — An extra $18.3 million in prize money will be paid by the ATP men's tennis tour to players based on their performances at last year's nine Masters 1000 tournaments under a profit-sharing plan introduced in 2022. The ATP said Thursday that amount is an increase from the $6.6 million profit-sharing bonus from Masters events in 2023.
