A NINE-YEAR-OLD boy was nearly snatched off the street by who man who then followed him, police said.
It unfolded at around 8.45am on June 13, just a few roads away from a popular beach.

A man tried to grab the boy near St Nicholas Rest Garden in Brighton.
He then followed the child along the road, cops said.
Sussex Police appealed for witnesses to come forward.
A 39-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of common assault and possession of a Class B drug.

A WOMAN fell from a flat window as cops arrest a man in his 40s on suspicion of assault. Police were called to a property in Swindon, Wiltshire, around 4.30pm on Friday, August 15. Officers responded to reports of a disturbance at the address, in Freshbrook, and found a woman had fallen from a flat window. Great Western Air Ambulance assisted paramedics and transported her to hospital. Cops detained a man in his 40s at the scene on suspicion of assault. He has since been bailed and the woman has been discharged from hospital. A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "We attended a property in Freshbrook following a reported disorder at about 4.30pm on Friday evening (15/08). "A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of assault and has since been bailed.
