Adut Akech is introducing her baby girl to the world
The supermodel, 25, shared the cover of the Spring/Summer 2025 issue of POP Magazine on Instagram, in which she could be seen carrying her little girl on her hip as the duo posed for their photo. Akech, who welcomed her daughter with partner Samuel Elkier, wore a gray long-sleeve shirt and placed a hand on her daughter's head, cuddling her to her chest.
Akech's daughter wore a two-piece baby pink sweater set and had her face obscured from the camera. "Adut & Kiki," read a caption underneath their photo, seemingly sharing Akech's daughter's name.
Elkier also reshared the magazine cover on his Instagram Story, writing, "My baby and my lady!! 👶🏾👩🏾🫶🏾."

Akech first shared her pregnancy news with Vogue in August when she had 10 weeks left in her journey to motherhood. At the time, the supermodel noted that she knew she was below the average age in the United States for first-time mothers.
"I always said I wanted to be a young mom because I love the idea of growing up with your kids," Akech told the outlet, adding that her mom had her at 20. "The age difference plays a huge role in how close we are."
As she was settling into her pregnancy, Akech said that she was just "excited" for the journey.
"I can't wait. I'm like — can they just come already? I'm kind of over it and I'm just halfway," she joked, continuing to say that pregnancy has been "a beautiful feeling, but a mental and physical rollercoaster. Nothing really ever prepares you for it."

Akech also shared the exciting news on her own Instagram, posting photos from her photo shoot with Vogue. "Beyond BLESSED, GRATEFUL and CANNOT wait to meet our bundle of joy!!! 🤰🏿🤍🥰🤞🏾," she wrote in her caption.
The comments were filled with well-wishes from fans and friends, including supermodel Naomi Campbell who wrote, "Congratulations to my Daughter @adutakech on such a blessing can't wait to be a grandma ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍."
The model's partner Elkhier also commented on her Instagram post, writing, "Can't wait to meet our little one! 🥹."
