CAIRO, July 14 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty affirmed that Egyptians residing abroad constitute a solid pillar of bolstering Egypt's stature at both regional and international levels.
He stressed the government's steadfast support and dedicated attention to Egyptian communities abroad, with the goal of reinforcing ties and leveraging their expertise to advance the nation's development.
During a meeting with members of the Egyptian community in Equatorial Guinea at the Egyptian embassy in Malabo, Abdelatty expressed his pride in the community's vital role as representatives of Egypt abroad.
He underlined recent national advancements in infrastructure, digital transformation, renewable energy, and foreign policy, with particular emphasis on strengthening relations with African nations.
He underscored the pivotal role of Egyptian communities in Africa in advancing Egypt's strategic vision for the continent.
He also outlined the Foreign Ministry's initiatives aimed at enhancing consular services, facilitating communication with Egyptians abroad, and delivering essential support.
He attentively considered the community's suggestions and reaffirmed his ministry's commitment to their welfare, stressing the importance of collective efforts to uphold Egypt's positive image and strengthen ties with African partners. (MENA)

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Legion of Honor Palace overlooking the River Seine in Paris during fall, with the attendance of a select group of international cultural and diplomatic figures. The decision to honor her came based on the recommendation of the French Ministry of European Affairs and International Cooperation, which commended Zaki's role as a prominent intellectual voice in international forums. Zaki is a member of Parliament, a professor of ancient Egyptian civilization, the head of the Grand Egyptian Museum, and a researcher at the Sorbonne University's Scientific Research Center.
