Charlie Clements, best known for his role as Bradley Branning in EastEnders, has surprised fans with a complete image overhaul, now donning glasses and a beard, which is a sharp departure from his clean-cut on-screen character.
The transformation of the actor who debuted in the BBC One soap back in 2006 and made his dramatic exit in February 2010 is remarkable. Charlie's character had an unforgettable send-off from the long-running soap during its first live instalment, which commemorated EastEnders' 25th anniversary.

In a gripping sequence, Bradley Branning met his end falling from the rooftop of the Queen Vic, while evading the police, after vowing to defend his wife Stacey who had killed her assailant Archie Mitchell. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter .

Tragically, their plan to escape together was thwarted, leading to Bradley's fatal plunge, turning his wife into a widow and sending shockwaves across Albert Square. This episode seized the attention of nearly 20 million viewers tuning in.
Now, over ten years since his memorable stint on EastEnders, Charlie Clements has taken a hiatus from the acting scene, acknowledging that he too needs to "pay his bills".
In May 2024, he took to Instagram to share with his followers: "Aware that some may be less interested in my golf related activities! But for those who are go follow me at @charlieclementsgolf."

His specific golf page gives fans a glimpse into his life as a greenkeeper, featuring images of him perfecting his drive. The former soap star shared a bit of introspection in one of his latest updates: "In my career as an actor I've had some incredible opportunities and moments," reports the Mirror.
Charlie Clements, former EastEnders star, has traded in his acting shoes for a life on the green, and it seems he's taking to his new role as a greenkeeper like a pro.
In a recent social media post, he exclaimed: "But since starting out as a Greenkeeper a year ago, this is up there with the best of them... Touching the hallowed turf of Centre!"

As a greenkeeper, Charlie joins the ranks of the often-overlooked heroes of the golfing world, tasked with maintaining the immaculate greens and fairways that make the game so enjoyable.
From raking sand traps to tending to the course's flora, it's a vital role that requires dedication and attention to detail.
Charlie's journey to becoming a greenkeeper has been far from conventional. After leaving EastEnders, he continued to work in the entertainment industry, landing roles in Casualty and the documentary Elizabeth and Her Enemies.

He even picked up the Most Popular Newcomer award at the 2006 National Television Awards for his work on EastEnders.
Away from the screen, Charlie has built a life with his wife, Rebecca Clatworthy, whom he married in 2018, and their three children. He's also developed a passion for photography, often sharing stunning landscape and nature shots on his Instagram page.

However, the pandemic forced Charlie to take a break from acting and find new ways to support his family. He worked in a restaurant during the first lockdown and later at a garden centre during the second.
It was during this time that he discovered his love for greenkeeping, and he's never looked back. During a candid appearance on Loose Women, the actor confessed: "Acting is my first love and career choice, but at the end of the day, I'm a jobbing actor. I've got bills to pay and a family to support like everyone else."
Reflecting on his time with EastEnders, Charlie shared a nostalgic post on Instagram in February, stating: "Reminded today that 'I died' 15 years ago today which makes that little thing even older!!!

However, until February 2027, the taxman will take 40% of this as part of her first bankruptcy order. Speaking about her raunchy account on Katherine Ryan's podcast, What's My Age Again, Katie revealed that she often gets feedback from her daughter. She told the Canadian comedian: "I show Princess and she's like, 'mum, that's so good, that picture'. This and that. "This is what's funny about Princess. This is probably why we get on.' She went on: "She does her days where she goes out and does her pictures for her Instagram and she's like, mum, can you get eight outfits for me? I said, what, your clothes? "No, your clothes. I went, why do you want to use my clothes? Because your style, you do it better. So, she uses my clothes for her Instagram pictures." Katie recently revealed that she had been encouraging Princess to sign up for Love Island. Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast The Katie Price Show, she said: 'I keep saying to Princess, 'why don't you do Love Island?'' Revealing her response, Katie continued: ''No… because otherwise I'll be known as a Love Islander'. I said, 'No you won't, everyone knows you anyway'.' "They just grew apart - they were each other's first love so it has been tough but there are no hard feelings. "He's still on good terms with both Katie and Peter. "Princess is really concentrating on her career right now and there's no place for a man.' Princess' ex has unfollowed her on social media but does still follow all of her family members. It's been a week of highs and lows for Princess, who revealed she'd passed her driving test and showed off her £10,000 car. She proudly declared in the caption: 'I bought my first car' but was hit with criticism by fans, who believe it was actually mum and dad Katie and Peter Andre who actually forked out the cash for it. But Princess has now put that speculation to bed, hitting back at the comments and declaring: 'These comments are so funny. "To everyone out there, yes I work and yes I earn my own money which I'm super proud of and so thankful that I'm lucky enough to buy my own car xx."

Huge fears for EastEnders' Linda as Phil unleashes his rage on Elaine

Linda Carter's (Kellie Bright) wellbeing is the subject of much concern in EastEnders next week as Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) clocks how stressed she is. The landlady of the Queen Vic is forced to pick up the pieces for mum Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe), who is set to make a reckless decision in the wake of her fears about George Knight (Colin Salmon). George, as viewers know, has been keeping secrets from Lainey, such as a secret kiss with his ex Sabrina and his involvement in making her love rival Cindy Beale's (Michelle Collins) opening night a success. With Elaine's head elsewhere, Linda ends up doing the lion's share of the work at The Vic, which leaves Phil incredibly concerned. As a busy night gets underway at the establishment, with Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) and Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan-Levy) among those in attendance, Elaine declares that the prosecco is on the house all night, which leaves Linda utterly reeling. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Phil pops in for a drink with Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) and it doesn't take him long to realise just how much Linda is struggling with the extra workload and therefore he offers her a helping hand. Elaine, meanwhile, offers to book Priya a singles cruise, telling her she can pay her back later. Linda witnesses £5,000 leave the business account and she's utterly horrified. Wasting little time in confronting Elaine, the Carter matriarch demands answers. Elaine, however, is completely indifferent to the situation, dismissing Linda's concerns entirely. The following day, Elaine wakes with a vicious hangover. Linda tries to talk sense into her mum, who once again shuts her down – and refuses to engage with her altogether. Phil continues to worry about Linda, who is quite clearly struggling under the pressure, and therefore he steps in and gives Elaine a piece of his mind, chastising her for treating Linda so carelessly. Left with food for thought, Elaine decides to speak to Linda, who continues to play down her true feelings. And let's just say that she is overwhelmed. More Trending Will Elaine realise that Linda can't do everything on her own? Will she come to realise the error of her ways where Priya is concerned? Linda has been Walford's resident agony aunt over the past few months, always on hand to offer helpful advice to those in need. But can she get the help she needs from those around her?
