Rashmika Mandanna has set the internet abuzz once again, this time by teasing fans with a sneak peek of the second song video from her much-awaited film, The Girlfriend. Taking to her social media, the actress dropped a short behind-the-scenes clip that gives fans a glimpse of what's coming next.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Rashmika Mandanna shared a video in which the singer is seen recording the song. 'Recording this singer today for #TheGirlfriend 's second single! I think I have a crush on her. Gonna try asking her out for a cup of coffee," Rahul Ravindran shared the video with a caption. One of the fans wrote, 'I'm pretty sure you'd impress her! Go for it!" Another wrote, '"A perfect example of love and admiration between husband and wife."

In July, the first song featuring Rashmika Mandanna was released. In December 2024, the film's teaser was released. The film is touted as a compelling romantic drama and is funded by GA2 Pictures, Mass Movie Makers and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment. The teaser centres on the love life of Rashmika's character in college. Even though the film's plot remains unknown, we can witness Rashmika's character struggle in her relationship with her boyfriend, played by Dheekshith Shetty.
Apart from that, Rashmika has announced the next Mysaa. A first-look poster was also released. The actress explained that the role symbolises a side of herself that she had never encountered until now. Mandanna took to Instagram to release the first-look poster, which features her in a ferocious and furious avatar.
The poster shows her partially veiled, with half of her face covered and blood marks visible, adding to the severity of her appearance. Rashmika Mandanna wears a traditional saree with tribal-inspired decorations and finishes her outfit with a stunning moon-shaped bindi.
