Resolve all petitions on priority, Collector tells officials
Collector Dr Vinod Kumar emphasised the government's commitment to prioritising PGRS petitions. He directed officials to resolve grievances promptly, transparently, and efficiently, ensuring applicant satisfaction. He stressed that resolutions must adhere to stipulated timelines, avoiding delays or case reopenings. He instructed the officials to submit detailed petition reports in Excel format and ordered immediate processing of any pending secretariat staff orders to streamline grievance redressal.

Odisha BJP leaders in Delhi
This week, the Odisha BJP brass visited Delhi to discuss pending issues, cabinet reshuffle and grievances of MPs. State chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi landed in the national capital on Tuesday and met top party leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and the BJP's national president JP Nadda. Kerala to implement tailored disaster plans for tribals, says CM Pinarayi Vijayan
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday said his government would implement disaster management plans tailored for tribal settlements across the state. The initiative aims to address natural calamities in the vulnerable areas. However, the Centre's budget allocation for the marginalised sections is just 3.08 per cent despite them making up 8.6 per cent of the total population of the country, the Left veteran alleged. Compared to other states, the CM said the Backward communities in Kerala can lead a dignified life without facing any discrimination or caste-based assaults.
