Iran's President approves law to suspend cooperation with IAEA
Pezeshkian officially communicated the law mandating the government to suspend cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog, which was approved during a public session of Iran's Parliament on June 25.
Considering violation of Iran's national sovereignty and territorial integrity by Israel and the United States regarding the country's peaceful nuclear facilities, the Iranian government is hereby obligated to immediately suspend all cooperation with the IAEA, Press TV reported, citing a parliament resolution.
As per the resolution, IAEA inspectors will not be allowed to enter Iran until the security of the country's nuclear facilities is ensured and the peaceful nuclear activities are guaranteed, which is subject to the approval of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.
Earlier, Iran's parliament speaker, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, criticised the IAEA for not condemning the US strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities.
Furthermore, Iran is also contemplating imposing a ban on the entry of IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, who has faced criticism for facilitating the actions of Israel and the US against Iran, according to Press TV. Based on Grossi's reports, the IAEA Board of Governors passed an anti-Iran resolution days before Israel's strikes in Iran.
The resolution proposed by the UK, France, and Germany, and backed by the US, prompted strong condemnations from Iran and resulted in announcements of a new nuclear facility and upgrade of centrifuges to an advanced level at the Fordow enrichment plant, Press TV reported.
On June 22, the US conducted strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities in Iran - Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. According to the news report, Grossi did not condemn the US action and faced criticism from Iranian officials.

This constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and a blatant assault on the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent, sovereign state on the June 4, 1967 lines, with occupied Jerusalem as its capital. They stressed that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territory. They affirmed their absolute rejection and condemnation of this settlement plan and all illegal Israeli measures, which constitute a flagrant violation of international law and Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2334, which condemns all Israeli settlement activities aimed at changing the demographic composition, character, and legal status of the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Palestine. They also emphasised the advisory issued by the International Court of Justice, which emphasised the illegality of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory and the need to end it immediately, eliminate its effects, and provide compensation for its damages. They warned of the danger of Israeli intentions and policies aimed at annexing Palestinian territories, and the Israeli government's continued expansionist settlement approach in the occupied West Bank, including attempts to harm Islamic and Christian holy sites, foremost among them the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif, daily incursions into Palestinian cities, villages and camps, the systematic destruction of Palestinian refugee camps and the displacement of Palestinians from their homes, which directly contributes to fuelling cycles of violence and conflict and undermines the chances of achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the region. Oman condemns Israeli statements on so-called "Greater Israel"
Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has strongly condemned the statements made by the Prime Minister of the Israeli government and his claims regarding the so-called "Greater Israel'. Oman expressed its categorical rejection of his illegal expansionist schemes, which blatantly violate international law and infringe upon the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on their lands in the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem as its capital. In a statement issued today by the Foreign Ministry, Oman emphasized that these expansionist propositions pose a direct threat to the security and stability of the region, fueling hostility and tension at a time when de-escalation, cooperation among regional states, and respect for the principles of national sovereignty and good neighborliness are most needed. Oman also reaffirmed its steadfast stance in supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of regional states and its firm rejection of any schemes aimed at undermining national entities or altering the political geography of the region.
