The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi, has announced that a second round of admissions for Classes 10 and 12 in Delhi government schools will begin next week, targeting students who missed the initial admission window in March. In a circular issued by the DoE, it was clarified that the application forms will be made available from next week across designated centres. These forms will allow eligible students to seek admission in government-run schools operating under the DoE. However, this round specifically excludes admissions to Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas (RPVVs), Schools of Specialised Excellence (SoSE), and Schools of Excellence (SoE). This move comes as part of the DoE's efforts to ensure that students who, for any reason, failed to participate in the March cycle, are given another opportunity to secure admission and continue their education without disruption. Eligibility strictly for Delhi residents The DoE has strictly specified that only students residing in Delhi are eligible to apply in this phase. Applicants will be required to furnish proof of residence within Delhi along with standard academic records and identity documentation at the time of form submission and verification. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Never turn off your computer again, if you own a mouse DesertOrder Play Now Undo An official from the DoE, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the second admission round is primarily aimed at preventing dropouts and supporting mid-year academic integration.
