Indianapolis Colts' Tyler Warren highest rated rookie tight end in Madden 26
Madden 26 ratings have been released for the entire 2025 NFL draft class, and the Indianapolis Colts' Tyler Warren has the highest rating among tight ends.
Warren was the 14th overall pick in this year's draft by the Colts, but was the second tight end taken off the board with the Chicago Bears selecting Colston Loveland at 10th overall.
Warren has an overall rating of 75, while Loveland is Madden's second-highest rated rookie tight end with an overall score of 73.
No surprise here, but through the early going of training camp practices, Warren has been a fairly regular target in the passing game.
His combination of size and athleticism makes him a difficult matchup over the middle of the field, and Warren's reliable pass-catching abilities have been on display, hauling in tight-window throws or slightly off-target passes.
'Something we thought was a real strength of his was his hands, his ability to focus, concentrate, and make those tough catches,' Colts offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter said via the Indy Star.
Warren's impact on the Colts' offense, however, will go well beyond just the passing game. He's also versatile, which allows him to be moved around the formation, and is a very capable blocker. This do-it-all skill set will add some unpredictability to the offense with all the roles he can fill.

I've decided that this is the best time to make this decision to give myself time to get everything in place for next season. "There's only one thing that's on my mind, that's coming back to rugby and doing what I do best. I can't explain how excited I am!! "There'll be more news to come soon but for now, see you soon rugby fans." Rees-Zammit's move to the NFL came in stunning fashion back in 2024 - with the announcement being made on the day Wales were naming their Six Nations squad. After initially going through the NFL's International Player Pathway, he was signed to the Chiefs - but was ultimately cut after struggling to impress in pre-season. He then joined the Jaguars, spending the entire 2024 season on their practice squad. Having not played at all, he temporarily left the Jaguars - but was soon re-signed as part of their expanded off-season roster. This week saw reports that he had missed training with the Jaguars due to a lower back injury, placing his future in doubt. Recently, he had been training with fellow Wales internationals Liam Williams and Gareth Anscombe. Rees-Zammit had previously hinted at a return to rugby while speaking to TalkSport in June. "International players get probably two to three years to make it in the NFL," he said. So I wanted to do it at a time where I maybe could come back to rugby. "I'm 24 now, probably got one to two more years to try and make it depending on how this year goes. "I'll be 25, 26 when I go back to rugby. I like to think I can still play at the highest level." In his first spell in rugby, Rees-Zammit won 32 caps for Wales - touring South Africa with the British and Irish Lions in 2021 and playing at the 2023 World Cup in France. The news will come as a boost to new Wales coach Steve Tandy as he starts the job next month.

Dallas Goedert turns tough offseason into Eagles camp triumph
Six months have passed since Dallas Goedert hauled one in versus the Green Bay Packers and stiff-armed his way into the end zone. It still feels like that wasn't that long ago. Since then, he has enjoyed a roller-coaster ride. He helped the Philadelphia Eagles raise a Lombardi Trophy. Then, elation turned into uncertainty. His offseason turned out to be very humbling. The only team he has ever played for allowed him and his agent to seek a trade partner. No deal was struck. He returned home. There was no extension waiting for him. Bummer... Goedert knows how this game works, though. There's love on both sides, but entering year eight, he is also aware of the business side of things. How has he reacted? How do you think? Ever the professional, he has taken a tough spring and turned it into a phenomenal start to the summer. Dallas Goedert has bounced back from a tough summer in a big way A sixth Eagles camp is in the books. The day's events played out familiarly. A member of the coaching staff speaks beforehand. Players speak with the media after the session. Thursday brought special teams coordinator Michael Clay. Later, we heard from the likes of Dallas Goedert and others. Philadelphia's tight end dropped his first target on Thursday. He was white hot and on his game ever since. Injuries have been discussed with the guys who have been at practice. Guys who need reps are missing significant time. Guys who have been on the field have battled the white-hot temperatures. Goedert believes it is making him and his teammates a closer and more cohesive unit. Grant Calcaterra has also enjoyed a decent camp. Not so much for the other tight ends, though. It's early, but the rest of these guys aren't standing out consistently. Don't be shocked if two tight ends are all the Eagles decides they want to carry on the initial 53-man roster. Wide receiver Terry McLaurin has requested a trade from the Commanders, AP source says
Two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Terry McLaurin has asked the Washington Commanders to trade him because of a contract dispute, a person with knowledge of the request told The Associated Press. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the negotiations were private. McLaurin has been holding in at training camp. The veteran reported to camp Sunday after skipping the first four practices and parts of the offseason program. He remains on the physically unable to perform list with an ankle injury while contract talks continue. The Commanders reached the NFC championship game last season under first-year coach Dan Quinn and rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. They added wideout Deebo Samuel in the offseason and are aiming to make a run at the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East. McLaurin had 82 catches for 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns last season, earning second-team All-Pro honors. ___ AP NFL: Rob Maaddi, The Associated Press
