's family was very skeptical about his age difference with Gabrielle Union. She recently acknowledged that his family wasn't initially supportive of their age difference. In their most recent appearance on the IMO podcast hosted by Michelle Obama, she said:
'When I first met his family, the older sisters, who are closer in my age, immediately good.
But with Tragil, because she has been the protector… She has been the gatekeeper to keep him sane and to keep him doing everything he needs to do without interference from anybody.'

The actress continued by saying that, as she is nine years older than him, both his mother, Jolinda, and his sister, Tragil, were quite sceptical about their relationship. Before they were married, Gabrielle Union said that they even had doubts about her intentions. She recalled:
'Before I got to the wife stage… Tragil and his mom were like, 'What do you want? Who are you, you older lady? What do you want?''
She continued:
'I was like, 'Actually, we both just got divorced, so we're kind of in the same space.

'But it took some years to earn their trust and also for them to earn my trust so we could be comfortable equally… Now, it's easy, because we are all on the same side.'

The game has reportedly generated $1 million in gross player spending on the first day of its release. The free-to-play game earns revenue through in-app purchases and character cosmetics, a similar strategy to Tencent's previous mobile hit, DnF Mobile. Appfigures noted that while DnF Mobile generated nearly five times more revenue at launch, Valorant currently ranks sixth among the highest-earning games. Last week, the company announced that Valorant Mobile received over 70 million pre-registrations across platforms. However, Appfigures does not measure spending or downloads on Android, which operates through multiple app stores in China. The original Valorant PC game is known for its fast-paced style, where players can be eliminated quickly.
