Dorohedoro Season 2: Release date speculation, cast and plot details – Everything we know so far
After years of radio silence, the official Dorohedoro website finally confirmed in January 2024 that Season 2 is happening—and set for a 2025 release. No concrete date yet, but fall or winter 2025 feels like a solid guess. Dorohedoro Season 2 Expected Cast
MAPPA's running the show, and that's a huge win—Season 1's visuals were a grimy work of art. Director Yuichiro Hayashi is returning, promising an even wilder, bloodier sequel. No word yet on scriptwriter Hiroshi Seko or character designer Tomohiro Kishi, but the core team's likely sticking around to keep the magic alive.
The voice cast is a safe bet to return, bringing back the gang: Caiman : Wataru Takagi (Japanese) and Aleks Le (English) nail his tough-guy-with-a-heart energy.
Nikaido : Reina Kondo (Japanese) and Reba Buhr (English) make her fierce and loyal vibe shine.
En : Kenyu Horiuchi (Japanese) and Keith Silverstein (English) ooze sorcerer boss swagger.
Professor Kasukabe : Mitsuhiro Ichiki (Japanese) and Griffin Burns (English) keep the quirky nerd charm.
Vaux: Hisao Egawa (Japanese) and Michael Sorich (English) bring the grumpy doc to life.
New characters like Dokuga and Kawajiri will need voices, but casting news is still under wraps. Expect some killer picks to match the vibe. Dorohedoro Season 2 Potential Plot
If you remember how Season 1 ended, you'll know things were just starting to heat up. Caiman, our memory-wiped lizard-headed antihero, is still out to uncover who transformed him and why. And his loyal friend Nikaido? Let's just say her story's about to get even messier.
Season 1 covered about 40 chapters of the manga, which leaves us with a lot of story left to dive into. Season 2 is expected to launch right into the Central Department Store arc—a chaotic, fan-favourite part of the manga.
Here's a taste of what's coming:
Caiman's Hunt Intensifies: The search for the sorcerer behind his curse ramps up. Expect mind-bending reveals and ties to some powerful, terrifying figures (yes, Chidaruma fans—you're in for a treat).
Nikaido's Transformation: She gave up her time powers in Season 1, but there's more to her than we've seen. Her devil side is going to get a lot more screen time, and it's going to be wild.
The World Gets Even Weirder: Whether it's the grimy chaos of the Hole or the twisted glamour of the sorcerers' world, expect the visuals to crank up the madness. MAPPA's blend of hand-drawn and CG animation will keep everything looking gritty and surreal.
New Faces, New Trouble: Characters like Dokuga (from the mysterious Cross-Eyes gang) and Kawajiri are stepping into the spotlight. Haru, briefly teased in Season 1, is also due for a bigger role.

Watch: Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan search for killer in 'Thursday Murder Club'
1 of 3 | Netflix released a new preview for the series on Thursday. Photo courtesy of Netflix Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Helen Mirren hides in a graveyard in a new trailer for The Thursday Murder Club, which arrives on Netflix on Aug. 28. Mirren portrays Elizabeth, a retired spy, and member of the titular club. Mirren, former psychiatrist Ibrahim (Ben KIngsley), ex-union activist Ron (Pierce Brosnan) and former nurse Joyce (Celia Imrie) solve cold cases in their spare time, until a murder prompts them to solve "a real case." "What we need is a man, or a woman, on the inside," Ibrahim says in the trailer released Thursday. Their interest in the case seems to put the group in danger, however. Mirren receives flowers with a note telling her to "back off" in the trailer. The film is directed by Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone's Chris Columbus. Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays, Henry Lloyd -Hughes, Tom Ellis, Jonathan Pryce, David Tennant, Paul Freeman, Geoff Bell, Richard E. Grant and Ingrid Oliver also star. ‘Wednesday' Season 2 Cast & Characters Details
Wednesday is back on Netflix for Season 2. A new year at Nevermore Academy means new students, new teachers, and new threats. Of course, for someone like Wednesday Addams, threats are what makes life worth living. She'd probably prefer to be the one making them instead of investigating and, like, dealing with them. To keep track of who's who and keep up with your favorites, here's your guide to the cast and characters in Wednesday Season 2. A lot of folks who populated the Netflix series in Season 1 are not back in Season 2 so far, including Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, and William Houston. To be fair, all three of their characters died in Season 1. For whatever reason, they leave a huge gap that Season 2 has filled with some major players. We haven't even gotten to Lady Gaga's anticipated appearance yet as of Season 2, Part 1! This is who we have so far.

Blue Box Season 2: Release date speculation, cast and plot details – Everything we know so far
By Aman Shukla Published on August 7, 2025, 19:53 IST Blue Box stole hearts with its mix of high school romance, intense sports action, and relatable characters. After an amazing first season, fans can't stop talking about what's next for Taiki, Chinatsu, and the crew. Based on Kouji Miura's manga, this anime has everyone hooked, and the buzz for Season 2 is real. Here's the scoop on release date guesses, returning cast, plot hints, and everything else we know so far. Release Date Speculation for Blue Box Season 2 The first season of Blue Box ran from October 3, 2024, to March 27, 2025, delivering 25 episodes across two back-to-back cours. Right after the finale, a big announcement dropped on March 28, 2025, confirming Season 2 with a cool production teaser video. No exact premiere date yet, but let's break it down. Anime production usually takes about a year for a single cour. Since Season 1 wrapped in March 2025, a safe bet for Season 2 is sometime in early 2026—think January to April. Shows like this often stick to similar release windows, so Spring 2026 feels like a solid guess. Netflix and Crunchyroll, where the show streams, will probably share updates closer to the date. Keep those notifications on for official news! Cast: Who's Returning for Blue Box Season 2? The voice actors in Blue Box made every scene pop, and fans are stoked to see who's coming back. Based on how anime usually works, the core cast should return to bring these characters to life again. Here's who's likely to be back: Shoya Chiba as Taiki Inomata, the badminton guy chasing his dreams and his crush. Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano, the basketball star who's got Taiki's heart. Akari Kito as Hina Chono, the bubbly friend with her own story to tell. Chiaki Kobayashi as Kyo Kasahara, a key part of the squad. Yuma Uchida as Kengo Haryu, the rival who keeps things intense. Shogo Sakata as Ryosuke Nishida, adding some fun to the mix. Anna Nagase as Nagisa Funami, who might get more spotlight. Asaki Yuikawa as Niina Shimazaki, another player in the group. Season 1's second half introduced Kana Ichinose as Ayame Moriya, and her character shook things up. She's likely to have a bigger role in Season 2, which could mean more drama or surprises. No word on new voices yet, but any fresh faces will probably be announced closer to the premiere. Plot Details: What to Expect in Blue Box Season 2 Season 1 followed the manga pretty closely, covering the early chapters where Taiki and Chinatsu's romance starts to spark while they juggle sports and school. With 188 chapters out in the manga, Season 1 probably got through around chapter 110. Season 2 should pick up from there, likely covering chapters 110 to 120 or so, diving into a big arc where Taiki gears up for a first-year-only badminton tournament and faces tough competition from Sajikawa Senior High. The heart of the show is still Taiki and Chinatsu's slow, sweet romance. Their connection, built on shared goals and quiet moments, will hit new milestones, but expect some bumps along the way as they balance love and their crazy schedules. Ayame Moriya's role could stir things up—maybe some jealousy, new friendships, or even a deeper look at her own story. The manga's creator, Kouji Miura, has said Blue Box isn't just about the main couple getting together; it's about growing up, chasing dreams, and figuring yourself out. So, expect more emotional moments, big games, and maybe a few curveballs. Ahmedabad Plane Crash Aman Shukla is a post-graduate in mass communication .
