Royal couple secretly welcome second baby and reveal tot's adorable name
A royal couple has revealed they have secretly welcomed their second child in a surprise Instagram post.
Princess Claudia, the wife of Prince Josef-Emanuel of Liechtenstein, took to social media to post a string of photos of their newborn son, who was born last month.
The couple, who married in 2022, were already parents to another son named Leopold - and posting snaps of their newborn online, Claudia revealed their new baby had been named Nikolai. He is a new addition to the Liechtenstein Royal Family. It comes after reports Princess Beatrice's original name was 'rejected by Queen for being too yuppie'.
In one snap, the infant can be seen sleeping in a knitted yellow cardigan, while in another, he wears a blanket with the name 'Nikolai' stitched in it. A third photo showed the baby being cradled by his mum.
Prince Josef-Emanuel is the son of Prince Nikolas of Leichtenstein, the brother of the country's reigning monarch, Prince Hans-Adam. His mum is Princess Maragretha of Luxembourg - the sister of Luxembourg's reigning monarch, Grand Duke Henri.
He moved to the UK in his younger years, attending Sandhurst's Royal Military Academy before joining the Irish Guards. At Trooping the Colour in 2010, he was selected to present the flag of his regiment to the late Queen.
Josef-Emanuel married his wife, Claudia, also known as Cloclo, a Colombian socialite, in a glittering ceremony in Cartagena in 2022, with several royals attending, including Queen Camilla's niece, Ayesha Shand.
The couple's happy news comes after another royal couple also welcomed a surprise new arrival earlier this year. In January, Princess Maria Laura of Belgium and her husband William Isvy, welcomed their first child, a son named Albert.
Baby Albert's arrival was something of a surprise to royal fans; Maria Laura and William did not reveal they were expecting prior to the birth. The Belgian Palace announced the birth, alongside a sweet snapshot showing the little boy lying asleep in a cream jumper.
The new royal was named after his great-grandfather, Albert II of Belgium, who reigned as King from 1993 until his abdication in 2013.
Baby Albert is now 11th in line to the throne, but made history as the first Belgian royal not to have been awarded a title.
Princess Maria Laura is the niece of King Philippe and the second child of Princess Astrid of Belgium, Philippe's younger sister. She has been married to her husband William - a British investment banker - since 10 September 2022.
They tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Brussels, followed by a religious celebration at the Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudula a day later.
Maria Laura was raised away from the royal spotlight and grew up in Bazel, Switzerland, until the age of five as her father worked for an international bank.
Along with her four siblings - Prince Amedeo, Prince Joachim. Princess Luisa Maria and Princess Laetitia Maria - she was raised away from royal duty and rarely appears at public engagements.

Eamonn Holmes says 'Ruth does all the hard stuff' as he opens up about shared custody
Eamonn Holmes has shared an update on rescue dog Maggie this week following his split from Ruth Langsford, with whom he had adopted the canine companion over a decade ago Presenter Eamonn Holmes wrote about his ex Ruth Langsford in an update about their rescue dog Maggie this week. He's given an insight into the arrangements between them after having paid tribute to Maggie over the weekend. Eamonn, 65, and Ruth, 65, announced last year that they had decided to separate after 14 years of marriage. The former couple, who also have a son together, were later said to be involved in a custody dispute over canine Maggie, whom they had adopted as a family in 2011. After posting about Maggie yesterday, Eamonn returned to Instagram this afternoon with an update. It included him paying tribute to Ruth, who regularly posts about taking Maggie on walks, and teased over his plans for the future. Eamonn told his followers that Maggie will feature in the Times this week. He wrote: "So much interest and Love for Maggie following yesterday's post to the extent that she is going to star in @thetimes on line from tomorrow and this week's Sunday Times." The former This Morning host, who has experience health issues in recent years, went on to say that his ex does "all the hard stuff" with Maggie. He said: "Ruth does all the hard stuff with her because of my Wheelchair restrictions but working hard to hopefully get better soon and adopt another #Rescue #Dog like we did from @dogstrust all those years ago!" The presenter added: "Maggie changed my life and she was making me very happy in The Sunshine today. In many ways she reminds me of my dearly departed Mum - a really bad knee and hardly any teeth left but not bad for a 17 year old!" Eamonn, who is a patron of rescue group K-9 Angels, concluded: "Please try to Adopt and Not Shop if u can. from organisations like @thek9angels and @dogstrust Enjoy the Sunshine but please be aware of your dog in a car and it's little feet on hot pavements. Bye from Maggie and Me." The journalist, who used Randy Newman's song You've Got A Friend in Me from Toy Story (1995) in the post, had posted about Maggie yesterday. Alongside photos, he said in his previous post: "17 years apart ... and we r both still going - JUST. Maggie and Me #dogstrust #adoptdontshop." Eamonn and Ruth were said to be having "difficult conversations" about where Maggie would live following their separation. There were even previously reports of a custody dispute over the dog between the former couple. It was however suggested in May last year that Maggie was likely to end up primarily with Loose Women panelist Ruth. A source told the Sun at the time that Maggie is "like a daughter" to the exes, who were both said to "dote" on her. The source further told the outlet: "But she's getting on and they know she needs stability. It's a case of who can give her that." They added that the prospect of "giving her up" was "heartbreaking" for GB News presenter Eamonn. They said that Eamonn "adores" her but teased over the canine ending up with his ex. The source said last year: "But if Ruth is able to get out and about and walk her more, then it may well be that she gets Maggie in the split."

Cristiano Ronaldo wows with huge engagement ring but fans have complaint
Cristiano Ronaldo is officially engaged to Georgina Rodriguez (Image: georginagio/Instagram) Cristiano Ronaldo is sure to have spent a small fortune on his dazzling engagement ring for fiancée Georgina Rodriguez as fans can't believe the size of it. The football icon, 40, finally popped the question after almost a decade and two children later. They have long faced questions as to when they would finally walk down the aisle, with Cristiano now making the all important move. The couple had teased fans with a potential engagement after Georgina, 31, was spotted with a huge diamond on her finger. Neither had officially confirmed or denied if it was an engagement ring, with Cristiano revealed he hadn't asked for her hand in marriage because the timing wasn't 'quite right'. The couple racked up thousands of compliments and congratulations from their fans, while others had plenty to say on the ring. Georgina flashed a massive diamond that took up almost half of her ring finger. It featured one stunning stone that glistened on the white bedsheets while Cristiano place his hand underneath. Talk quickly turned to the price of the stunning jewel as one said: "For how much? That must have cost a backpack." Others were more taken aback by the size of the ring as someone exclaimed: "That rock." Another went further as they added: "A glacier!" Someone else commented: "Incredible, had to be the best in the world." A fifth joked: "Pretty small diamond." While one fan took issue with the practical side of things as they shared: "The ring is too big, it will make you uncomfortable when washing dishes." Another quipped: "Surely that's AI?! Who in their mind wants a boulder on their finger?!" "Surely that's photoshopped. I've no doubt he can afford something that big but WHY?!," wrote someone else. "This isn't coming from a place of jealousy that ring is too much," shared a social media user. Despite the criticism, Georgina seemed thrilled with the ring as she said: "Yes I do. In this and in all my lives." On her Netflix reality show I Am Georgina, she revealed her friends are always asking about wedding plans. She admitted: "They're always joking about the wedding. 'When is the wedding?' Since Jennifer Lopez's song The Ring Or When came out, they started singing it to me. And well, this is not up to me." The couple met at a Gucci store in 2016, with the ex-Manchester United superstar admitting that it was a case of love at first sight. "She's a fantastic person. Yes, it is [true love]. Yes, it was [like magic meeting for the first time]. Gio is part of me. She helps me so much.," he told Piers Morgan in an interview in 2019. "Of course, I'm in love with her. She's the mum of my kids. I'm so passionate for her. She's my friend, we have conversations. I open my heart to her. "She opened her heart to me. [She's the greatest love of my life]... Why not [get married]. Not now! Not in this interview. Why not, one day... We'll one day, for sure. It's my mum's dream." When celebrating Georgina's birthday earlier this year, Cristiano appeared to hint he had taken that next step. He posted on social media: "For the mother, partner, friend, my wife... happy birthday, love. Your light illuminates us and your love infects us." Brooklyn Beckham 'upsets' entire family as they're all snubbed from vow renewal
Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz have renewed their wedding vows (Image: nicolaannepeltzbeckham/Instagram) Brooklyn Beckham renews his wedding vows to Nicola Peltz - after inviting NONE of his extended family to the service in a brutal snub. Not only were his parents David and Victoria in the dark, but so too were his three siblings Cruz, Harper and Romeo, as well as his grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. None of Brooklyn's UK-based friends were also invited to the Los Angeles-based service. It's thought the first everyone knew about the service was when they read about it in media reports. It comes as the couple are at the centre of a feud with David and Victoria after they snubbed the former's 50th birthday party. One picture appeared to show her dad Nelson officiating the service. A source said: 'It must have been very upsetting to find out this way.' Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, have only been married three years. Speaking about the August 2 ceremony at the weekend, Brooklyn said: "We just wanted a really beautiful experience — a really cute memory." He added: "To be honest, I could renew my vows every single day with her. I think the most important thing that someone can do is find that person that they're going to spend the rest of their life with. It definitely shapes you as a person. Yeah, it was really, really cute. It was really fun." He said that he would have his vows tattooed on his body, like he did the first time around in 2022 too. He said he's going to have to "find space". "These ones were actually longer than my original ones," he added. Meanwhile, the Beckham family - minus eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola – are currently taking a trip around the coast of Italy on the £16million craft. Victoria, 51, posted a handful of holiday snaps of herself and David, 50, soaking up the sun with Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14. When asked about married life with Nicola, Brooklyn told People magazine at the weekend it was like "a never-ending play date." David and Victoria have become distanced from Brooklyn and Nicola (Image: @victoriabeckham/Instagram) "We don't like to go out for dinner, really," he said "We don't like to party or anything like that. When we are together, which is a lot of the time, we just hang out with our four dogs, and drink wine at home.' Sources close to Nicola have previously insisted there is no chance of reconciliation with David and Victoria at the moment given the 'highly charged atmosphere.' Her friends have previously said that as "an outsider coming into the Beckham family, she has helped Brooklyn see the emotional abuse and toxic behaviour within". The claims - described as 'parently untrue and ludicrous' by friends of the Beckhams - marked the 'nail in the coffin' of any future relationship, according to insiders. The Mirror has told before how David and Victoria Beckham 's pals were desperately worried about their son Brooklyn's 'unhealthy' relationship with wife Nicola. Friends of the couple have said that they believe Nicola is 'isolating' their son from not only them but his friends and extended family members. It comes as Brooklyn this year pointedly pledged his loyalty to his wife in a social media post, saying: 'I always choose you, baby.' Pals said it was 'disappointing but unsurprising' if Brooklyn meant this as a dig at his family - as they laid the blame at his wife.
