'Jaw-dropping' thriller leaves Netflix fans begging for one thing after racking up 5,000,000 views
Netflix viewers are all making the identical plea for a gripping new series they simply cannot switch off.
Adapted from May Cobb's novel, The Hunting Wives debuted on the streaming giant last month and clocked up 5,200,000 views in just its opening week.
The drama centres on Sophie, a woman who relocates from Boston to Texas with her family and swiftly climbs the social ladder to achieve socialite status.
Yet once she infiltrates the exclusive circle surrounding Margo Banks and her clique, also known as The Hunting Wives, she becomes entangled in a web of obsession, temptation and ultimately murder.
The eight-episode thriller features Dollface star Malin Akerman as Margo, with Pitch Perfect's Brittany Snow portraying Sophie, alongside Dermot Mulroney, Chrissy Metz, Jaime Ray Newman, Katie Lowes and Evan Jonigkeit, reports the Express.
This steamy psychological thriller kicks off with a corpse, as the whodunit unfolds and numerous potential culprits are dragged into the mayhem.
Despite securing third position on Netflix's worldwide English-language programmes last week, The Hunting Wives remains unavailable for British audiences, leaving fans desperately pleading for access.
One viewer posted on X: "We getting The Hunting Wives anytime soon @NetflixUK! ? Went to watch it last night and was disappointed it hasn't reached us in the UK yet."
"When are we getting #TheHuntingWives in the UK? @NetflixUK. Feels like everyone's talking about it and I've got FOMO," another wrote.
Someone else said: "Dude they need to get #TheHuntingWives available on uk netflix soon cus i know my mum and all her friends will eat that s**t up."
"Begging that we get The Hunting Wives in the UK," another penned, whilst someone else commented: "I want to watch #TheHuntingWives but they're doing the UK dirty."
One viewer gushed: "Can't look away from The Hunting Wives but equally like what the f**k am I watching."
Meanwhile, on Rotten Tomatoes The Hunting Wives has bagged an 80% rating, with one person declaring: "I'm hooked! ! ! ! Loving this show. Season 2 PLEASE!"
Another gushed: "Wow wow wow! This show needs more attention and recognition than it's been getting....Such an unpredictable and having you on the edge of your chair type of vibe and honestly a depiction of a lot of real things going on in the rich world.
"The sex, the drama, the greed, the power, was very well portrayed. Overall, I was gasping from the beginning until the very last minute of the very last episode."
"Very raunchy, jaw dropping," a third penned, whilst someone else commented: "Binged it within 24-hours. There is some tremendous acting in this series!"
Though The Hunting Wives can't be streamed in the UK currently, Deadline reports Lionsgate has flogged the series in 10 additional territories including the UK, "where it will launch soon".
Sources also revealed to the publication that Netflix isn't the purchaser in any of the additional territories, so it will likely broadcast on another streaming platform or channel.
Hints of a second season have also been dropped, with creator Rebecca Cutter revealing to Variety that the new series might feature "a little bit of a time jump - not a year, but a time".
She also suggested that "it would be smart" to centre the storyline around a fresh murder mystery.
"I don't know whodunit yet or who got done!" she further added.
The Hunting Wives can be streamed on Netflix US.

Jeremy Clarkson fumes he's interrupted filming due to 'ridiculous' restrictions
Jeremy Clarkson has been left fuming after he was forced to halt filming due to no-fly zones Jeremy Clarkson has joined the chorus of disgruntled Cotswolds residents expressing their frustration at the holidaying US Vice President, JD Vance. The 65-year-old motoring journalist revealed that his new summer neighbour's presence has disrupted the filming of the fifth series of Clarkson's Farm, as the secret service has taken over the tranquil English countryside and a no-fly zone has been implemented. The Vice President's visit to the Oxfordshire town has already sparked controversy, with locals bemoaning the disruption and left-leaning protestors descending on the area. The former Top Gear presenter explained that the one-mile no-fly zone around JD Vance's Cotswolds manor house rental is hindering his cameramen from capturing essential shots for his Amazon Prime show. A no-fly zone has been established for security purposes while the Republican politician resides in the hamlet of Dean for the remainder of August. On Tuesday (August 12), the broadcaster took to Instagram to display the no-fly zone which encompasses his own farm, Curdle Hill Farm - also known as Diddly Squat Farm, named so because he has claimed that's the sum total he stands to earn from it. The father-of-three captioned the map snapshot: "The JD Vance no-fly zone. We are the pin. So on the downside, no drone shots today. On the upside, no annoying light aircraft," reports the Express. However, Jeremy isn't the only celebrity irked by JD Vance's arrival in Chipping Norton. The broadcaster's right-hand man Kaleb Cooper expressed his annoyance that the heightened security had thrown him off his own farming tasks. The farm worker, who has his own land and has carved out a successful career since the show, revealed that his wheat transport was delayed by the convoy as it passed through the local area. He criticised the Vice President for his noticeable presence in the neighbourhood, stating: "My wheat got wet in the trailer last night as the convo stopped me in the rain in Chippy. "I could easily have carried on my way and put it in the shed without causing any disruption. If he had just driven around in a VW Polo nobody would know who he was." The grand property where the American politician is staying has been unveiled as Dean Manor, a luxurious house built in 1702 during Queen Anne's reign. The manor is nestled in a small hamlet in Oxfordshire, which is home to just 12 properties. With towering 15ft stone walls and meticulously maintained six-acre gardens, it's no wonder this property was chosen by US secret service personnel due to its secluded and secure location. It's believed to cost a whopping £8,000 a week to rent. Clarkson's Farm is available to stream on Amazon Prime.

Scottish Love Is Blind UK star faces backlash from co-stars after U-turn
Netflix's hit dating show is back for a second season, and one Scottish cast member has already been questioned by their co-stars. *This article contains spoilers for the first four episodes of Love Is Blind UK season 2.* The much-loved dating programme, Love Is Blind UK, has returned for its second series, introducing a fresh batch of single hopefuls to the pods in their quest for enduring love. The Netflix reality show features contestants prepared to meet their potential life partners and get engaged, all without laying eyes on each other beforehand. In this series, Netflix viewers can anticipate a whirlwind of unexpected twists, tears and complicated love triangles, with one contestant in particular drawing criticism from their peers for 'changing their mind in just 24 hours'. 31 year old Nanny and makeup artist Katisha, originally from Dumfries in Scotland, found herself in a tricky situation when she captured the hearts of 30 year old financial analyst Demola and 28 year old health coach Javen. Katisha, who has been single for six years and started feeling unfortunate in love, is ready to connect with "the right type of men" in her search for a future husband. In the pods, she formed strong bonds with both Javen and Demola, leaving her uncertain about who to choose, reports the Mirror. Ultimately, her decision left one participant 'blindsided' in episode 4, fittingly titled 'She Changed Her Mind Overnight'. Initially, Katisha pledged her commitment to Demola when he expressed his desire to progress their relationship, but her attention was swayed by Javen during their next pod encounter. This sparked some drama, as she subsequently turned down Demola's proposal, leaving numerous cast members stunned after he revealed that she wanted an exclusive relationship with him. When Katisha chose to accept Javen's proposal instead, Demola's mate Kal was particularly miffed. Watch Love is Blind UK on Netflix for free with Sky from £15 Sky Get the deal here Product Description He revealed to the cameras: "To see Katisha and Javen together has not really sunk in yet. I do feel bad for Demola and it was a big shock to me when he came back and said that she'd gone for Jav. "I just want to know her side of things, because the jury is still out on whether Katisha's made the right choice or not." When he challenged Katisha about her choice, he queried: "It's weird that Demola thought it was him and Javen thought it wasn't him. "Yeah I didn't take it lightly," she replied. "That wasn't what it was like at all and it was really tough. "It wasn't anything against him," she continued, as tensions escalated between them and Kal butted in: "Yeah, he never did anything wrong... At all. What made you go the other way?" Katisha then responded: "For me it was more that my connection with Javen was stronger so that's just what it came down to. "I definitely made the right choice. Happy with that, are you?" she concluded with an annoyed chuckle before the episode faded to black. Has Katisha made the correct decision? Keep watching to find out. Love Is Blind UK season 2, episodes 1-4 are now available to stream on Netflix.
