Denise Richards' lawyers claim they have video evidence that proves her estranged husband Aaron Phypers stole a laptop containing the reality star's nude photos, which she has accused him of illegally leaking.
Claims of such footage were made during the exes' court hearing on Friday, though her attorneys didn't show the alleged video, per TMZ.
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills personality, 54, did not appear in court, though 52-year-old Phypers — who filed for divorce July 7 amid 'irreconcilable differences' — took part via Zoom.
Days after the divorce filing, the Wild Things -turned-OnlyFans star, who married Phypers in 2018, secured a temporary restraining order after accusing him of subjecting her to death threats and longstanding physical abuse, including a black eye in 2022.
Phypers has denies those claims, which he insists are Richards' way of trying to distract from her alleged infidelity, which he says he discovered earlier in the year.
Last week, Richards asked the court to prohibit Phypers 'from using, delivering, copying, printing or disclosing' any content from her devices, which she wanted promptly returned. Richards at the time said Phypers leaked her nude pictures and private text messages to media outlets, thereby 'repeatedly' violating the restraining order.
Richards was then seen with an apparent black eye and cut on her chin Tuesday, with sources telling TMZ they stemmed from cosmetic work. However, two days earlier, cops were called after she showed up at Phypers' home to pick up her dogs after she claims he had one of them put down without her permission, which he denies. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service

Jimmy Kimmel secures Italian citizenship amid tiff with Trump

Jimmy Kimmel's Italian heritage from his mother's side gave him the option to double up his citizenship. Photo: TNS Jimmy Kimmel revealed he has his Italian passport ready, just in case. During an interview with comedian Sarah Silverman on her podcast, the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host discussed how 'much worse' the president's second term has been for the country, without getting into specifics. He said he has obtained Italian citizenship as a result. Kimmel's Italian heritage from his mother's side gave him the option to double up his citizenship. 'What's going on [with Trump] is as bad as you thought it was gonna be,' Kimmel told his ex-girlfriend. 'I feel like it's probably even worse than [Trump] would like it to be,' he added. Kimmel has criticized Trump pretty much nonstop on his late-night show since before the president first won the White House in 2016. Trump has previously called Kimmel 'stupid' and recently said the ABC host would be the next to lose his job after CBS announced in July that it wasn't renewing Stephen Colbert's contract. Trump celebrated the news that The Late Show would end soon and predicted Kimmel would face the same fate. '[Kimmel] has less talent than Colbert,' the president posted on Truth Social. Trump doubled down during a press conference last week, saying anyone off the street could do a better job than Kimmel and other mainstream late-night hosts. Since Trump won in 2020, comedians Rosie O'Donnell and Ellen DeGeneres have re-settled in Ireland and England, respectively. Kimmel has been on a summer hiatus from his show and will return to his hosting duties in September. – Los Angeles Times/Tribune News Service

Swifties speculate Taylor Swift's new album drags Blake Lively

Ever since Taylor Swift (left) was named in the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni suit, the singer's reportedly kept her distance from her longtime friend. Photo: TNS Swifties are speculating that one particular song off Taylor Swift's upcoming album nods to the rumoured demise of her friendship with Blake Lively, amid the latter's legal battle with Justin Baldoni. The chatter comes on the heels of Swift on Wednesday revealing that the tracklist from The Life Of A Showgirl , dropping Oct 3, will feature a song titled Ruin The Friendship . Lively, 37, is currently locked in a litigious and publicity saga with 41-year-old Baldoni, her director and co-star in It Ends With Us , whom she claims sexually harassed her during filming. Lively also alleges Baldoni waged a smear campaign to undermine her accusations. Baldoni has denied all of Lively's claims, though he did include some reported texts in his since-dismissed US$400mil defamation suit. In one such correspondence, Lively allegedly referred to Swift as one of her 'dragons,' with Baldoni accusing her of leveraging the popstar's celebrity status in attempt to take over creative control of the film. Ever since Swift was named in the suit, she's reportedly kept her distance from her longtime friend. In June, a source told People that Swift was'working to trust Blake again.' While making her podcast debut during boyfriend Travis Kelce's hit New Heights show, Swift revealed she recorded the entirety of her new album in between shows on the European leg of her Eras Tour last summer. If true, that throws a bit of a wrench into the theory that Ruin The Friendship is about Lively, as she and Swift were last spotted together last October — on a double date, no less. Moreover, Lively didn't accuse Baldoni of any misdeeds until right before Christmas, and Baldoni didn't drag Swift into the mess until early this year. Still, that hasn't stopped fans from spreading the theory online, particularly in the wake of Swift being momentarily subpoenaed by Baldoni's legal team. Neither Swift nor Lively has publicly remarked on their friendship since It Ends With Us hit theatres in August. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service

New Lizzo song pokes at Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle jeans mess

Lizzo (left) hinted last week at being inspired by the scandal, when she previewed the new track as she sported an all-denim get-up, channeling Sydney Sweeney. Photos: TNS, American Eagle/Instagram Sydney Sweeney might be all buttoned up regarding her controversial American Eagle jeans/genes ad campaign, but Lizzo isn't ready to let the scandal die down just yet. For the rare few who missed the Internet's ire over the Euphoria star's jeans ads that launched late last month, many took the 'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans' slogan as a nod to Nazi-era eugenics. Grammy winner Lizzo, 37, shared a clip from the I'm Goin' In Till October music video on Wednesday, less than a week after American Eagle broke their silence on the denim mess. 'No kizzy, he ain't got no business being with me/ Fat a– pretty face with the t—s,' sings the Juice pop star, real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson. 'B—, I got good jeans like I'm Sydney.' Though some might assume the winking lyric should be spelled 'genes,' Lizzo hinted last week at being inspired by the scandal, when she previewed the new track as she sported an all-denim get-up, channeling 27-year-old Sweeney. The video, captioned 'Lizzo's got Good Jeans,' began with a pundit slamming the 'woke agenda' and the response to the Emmy nominee. It was a since-deleted commercial that courted controversy as the Anyone But You star tells consumers, genes, or jeans, are 'passed down from parents to offspring, determining traits like hair colour, personality and even eye colour.' The blue-eyed, blonde bombshell — whose own look the Internet quickly equated to the Aryan aesthetic favoured by Adolf Hitler — then proclaims that her 'jeans are blue.' American Eagle insisted the campaign 'is and always was about the jeans' and that the retailer would 'continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.' Lizzo's tongue-in-cheek move comes two years after her own reputation took a hit in August 2023, when her former dancers filed a lawsuit accusing the body positive songstress of racial and sexual harassment and weight-shaming. A September 2023 lawsuit filed by Lizzo's former wardrobe assistant was dropped in December 2024. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
