Landau also said that, given Rodríguez's track record with fine and high jewelry, she believed it was a natural diamond. 'She's known for being a maximalist with her jewelry,' Landau said.
Ann Grimmett, vice president for merchandising at Jared Jewelers, estimated that the diamond was 30 to 40 carats, costing anywhere from $5 million to $15 million.
And George Khalife, a celebrity jeweler known as George the Jeweler, estimated that it was around 20 to 25 carats, and around at least $5 million to $7 million. 'Knowing that it's Cristiano Ronaldo, I'm assuming it's probably near colorless (F color), likely a VVS quality,' Khalife said, noting that the diamond appeared to be nearly flawless.
