Samsung is set to reveal its latest foldables at Galaxy Unpacked this week. While the showcase is scheduled for June 9, it doesn't look like you'll have to wait until Wednesday to learn more about the company's new hardware. Some leaked promotional material may have spilled the beans on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE.
Roland Quandt of WinFuture went on Bluesky today to share the specs of Samsung's next foldables. According to Quandt, these details were taken from 'official Samsung promo materials.' In the image below, you can see all the information you need, including screen size, colors, and storage.
Notably, it appears the Galaxy Z Fold 7 features a 4,400mAh battery. That's a bit disappointing considering OPPO's Find N5 packs in a 5,600mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE are said to sport 4,300mAh and 4,000mAh batteries, respectively. Compare that to their biggest rival, the Motorola Razr Ultra, which houses a 4,700mAh battery.
Trusted tipster Arsene Lupin also provided spec sheets for all three devices. However, these spec sheets go further in-depth, revealing details like screen resolution and technology (FHD+, Dynamic AMOLED 2X), the processor (Exynos 2500), and so on.
With all of this information, there's not much else for Samsung to surprise us with. However, we do still need to know how much Samsung is going to charge for these handsets. In related news, a different leak may have revealed the specs and pricing for the Galaxy Watch 8 series.

According to a user and several respondents on the Fairphone Community Forum, the update is freezing some Fairphone 5 devices on the boot screen and making them unable to start. In each case, the phone gets stuck partway through the Fairphone boot animation, displaying only a green 'I' on a blank screen. The only way to recover appears to be rolling back to a previous Android version or wiping the device entirely. A Fairphone representative in the thread confirmed the root cause: The issue only affects Fairphone 5 units with broken fingerprint sensors. Android 15 introduces stricter hardware verification during startup, and if the fingerprint sensor isn't functioning properly, the phone won't boot. That diagnosis is backed up by user comments on the forum. Many who experienced the boot failure said their fingerprint sensor had already stopped working before the update. Some even said they attempted the update in hopes it might resolve the fingerprint issue, only to find their device bricked instead. The company says a fix is in the works that would allow Android 15 to boot even if the fingerprint hardware is broken, though the sensor itself would remain unusable. For now, affected users can either send their phone in for fingerprint repair or stick with Android 14. If your Fairphone 5's fingerprint sensor is already broken, updating now is a risk you probably don't want to take until a patch is released. Fairphone suggests either sending in your device for fingerprint sensor repair or repeatedly force-rebooting (up to eight times) to get back into Android. Tesla signs $16.5B deal with Samsung to make AI chips
Tesla has signed a $16.5 billion deal to get its next-generation chips from Samsung. 'Samsung's giant new Texas fab will be dedicated to making Tesla's next-generation AI6 chip,' Elon Musk posted on X late Sunday evening. 'The strategic importance of this is hard to overstate.' Tesla's AI6 (AKA Hardware 6) chip is the company's bet on an all-in-one chip design that can scale from powering its driver assistance system known as Full Self-Driving (Supervised) to Tesla's Optimus humanoid robots, all the way to high-performance AI training in data centers. Musk noted Tesla is working with TSMC to make AI5 chips, which just finished the design. The A15, a generation that is primarily built for FSD. will initially be made in TSMC's Taiwan factory and then at its Arizona facility. Samsung already makes the A14 chip, according to Musk. The deal is a boost for Samsung, which struggled to get its chip-making project off the ground after failing to attract and retain major clients. Musk said in another post that Tesla may end up spending more than $16.5 billion on Samsung chips. 'Actual output is likely to be several times higher,' he said. 20 national security experts urge Trump administration to restrict Nvidia H20 sales to China
Not everyone is happy that the Trump administration gave Nvidia the green light to start selling its H20 advanced AI chips in China again. A group of 20 national security experts and former government officials wrote a letter to the U.S. Department of Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Monday urging the Trump administration to reverse its recent decision to let Nvidia resume selling its H20 AI chips in China. The letter called the Trump administration's recent decision a 'strategic misstep' that will have detrimental effects on the U.S.'s AI 'edge' for both military and civilian use cases. The letter specifically called out H20's AI inference, the process of using a trained AI model to make decisions on unseen data. 'The H20 is a potent accelerator of China's frontier AI capabilities, not an outdated AI chip,' the letter stated. 'Designed specifically to work around export control thresholds, the H20 is optimized for inference, the process responsible for the dramatic capabilities gains made by the latest generation of frontier AI reasoning models. For inference tasks, the H20 outperforms even the H100, an AI chip this administration has restricted access to due to its advanced capabilities.' The letter also claimed that selling the H20 chips in China will worsen the existing AI chip bottleneck in the U.S.; that these chips could be used to support China's military; and that this decision will weaken overall chip export controls. 'The decision to ban H20 exports earlier this year was the right one,' the letter said. 'We ask you to stand by that principle and continue blocking the sale of advanced AI chips to China as America works to maintain its technological edge. This is not a question of trade.
