14 piece Ninja knife set that 'glides through veg and meat' gets £80 price slash

'These knifes have completely changed cooking for me, it's so much more enjoyable when you have the right stuff."
While many of us may find cooking a chore, there are many others who enjoy spending time in the kitchen making meals for their family and trying new recipes. While cooking can allow many people to be creative, it is also important to have the right tools to make the process easier.
For those who are in desperate need of a new set of knives, Amazon has slashed the price of the Ninja Foodi StaySharp Knife Block, which comes with 14 pieces, ahead of the retailer's highly anticipated Prime Day sale.
Normally priced at £249.99, shoppers can currently grab the popular block for £164.04. However, shoppers will need to be quick to grab the deal as there is only a limited amount of stock available. At the time of writing, 23 per cent had already been claimed.
While each of the knives will arrive at your home sharpened, the Ninja knife block comes with a built-in StaySharp knife sharpener to keep your cutting tools at an efficient standard. Simply lock one of the blades into the sharpener and users will be able to restore the sharp edge with a few swipes of the lever.
Created with German stainless steel, each of the knives are rust resistant and strong enough to tackle all of your cooking tasks. Shoppers will also have total control as the knives feature ergonomic handles that are designed for maximum comfort even after an extended amount of use.
Ninja also promises that the knives will stay sharp for 10 years if used with recommended sharpening. If a 14 piece knife block is too much, shoppers can also buy the five piece edition for £159.99 (RRP £169.99) or the six piece set for £149.99 (RRP £169.99).

Another popular knife set on Amazon is the HOSHANHO 8-Piece Kitchen Knife Set. Normally retailing for £219.99, shoppers can now grab the set for £169.99. Including a chef knife, a bread knife, a fillet knife and a paring knife, these cooking tools are made from premium, high-carbon Japanese AUS-10 stainless steel.
For those looking for something a bit cheaper, Argos had reduced the price of the Tefal by Jamie Oliver 6pc Knife Set. Down from £150 to £112.50, this set comes with an Acacia Wood Block and a two year manufacturer's guarantee.
Back to the Ninja Knife Block, over 4,500 shoppers have awarded the set an impressive 4.8 star rating, with over 400 people investing in the set in the last 30 days.
One delighted shopper said: "Best set of knives I have ever bought, so sharp, easy to use, and has a good re sharpener for all the knives. A bit expensive but well worth it, will last a life time."
While another five-star reviewer added: "Everything you'd need from a knife set. Very sharp and easy too grip. Sits nicely on my work top so easy to store. Very well made, value for money for me and add to that it's Ninja, which most of my kitchen is now."
However, one shopper noted struggling with the sharpener: "Only reason I am giving this a 4* is because I am very disappointed in the sharpener. The knives themselves get a 5* for functionality and weight but I have had to order a smaller sharpener that I can see as I use. Overall, overpriced for what it is."
With a further shopper also adding: "The only down size is that you can't sharpen the scissors or the bread knife. Hopefully they will stay sharp. You can't wash in dishwasher either. But that's ok. I just have to be really careful when hand washing."
Despite this, another shopper said: "Great set of knives, sturdy feeling knives with comfortable handles and well balanced. The look of the whole package is nice, fits in the kitchen well and doesn't overpower the room anymore than a normal knife block. Sharpness out of the box is excellent, gliding through veggies and meat in a way that's a breath of fresh air."
While a sixth shopper praised: "Sharpest knifes I have ever purchased and really worth the money. These knifes have completely changed cooking for me it's so much more enjoyable when you have the right stuff, its so much faster to prepare meals when you actually have knifes that can cut."

Ninja Crispi 'transformed my meals' and now the cheapest ever price - only with this code

They're the staple kitchen gadget, airfryers, plenty of households across the UK will rely on these simple worktop gadgets to cook their meals, all be it for a big family or diner for one. Popular for cutting time and money, one of Ninja's newest models is now the cheapest ever price. Worlds away from the brand's dual airfryer basket appliances, the Ninja Crispi is portable, compact, and everything is cooked in a glass container - which can then be used to store food in afterwards. Usually £179.99 there's now a much cheaper price being offered for shoppers. As part of Ninja's 20% off everything sale, the nifty air fryer has dropped to £149.99, one of the cheapest prices since it launched earlier this year. Only if shoppers use the code Ninja20 at the checkout. But is it worth buying? Writer Eve Rowlands has previously tried it out and says the appliance has left her 'enjoying cooking more'. Ditching her Philips Airfryer for the latest Ninja model, Eve swapped to the Crispi model which she says is more 'user-friendly and compact'. As she explains in her review below. Not only was it more powerful than my previous model, but it also looked sleeker. The Ninja CRISPi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer, launched earlier this year, and is incredibly user-friendly. Comprising CleanCrisp thermal-shock resistant glass containers (in which the food is cooked - there are two sizes) and a heating lid, it also includes Non-Stick Crisper Plates, 2 Storage Lids and a PowerPod Adaptor. But that's not all that's impressive about it. The Ninja CRISPi, as its full name suggests, has four different functions, all of which can be performed in the glass base: airfrying, roasting, recrisping and keeping food warm (once cooked). Naturally, the function I've used most is air frying. Cooking is significantly quicker than with my previous air fryer, which is a definite plus. Although I'm still experimenting with recipes, it has a larger capacity than our old model and has made cooking more enjoyable (mainly because it doesn't take forever). I can place vegetables at the bottom and fish on top (on the crisper tray), and they'll cook perfectly in about 15-20 minutes. This is ideal when you're short on time... or if, like me, you're not particularly fond of spending ages in the kitchen. As there are only two of us in my household, I haven't used it to cook for larger groups. However, the device claims to accommodate a 1.2KG chicken and vegetables for up to six people, which could come in handy. That said, some users have reported less success when trying to prepare full meals for 4-6 people using the gadget, so bear that in mind. One person commented: " The only thing that could have been better for us as a family of 4, is making the capacity slightly larger to cook a larger batch." The roasting mode is also incredibly useful, as it uses far less energy than turning on the oven. I've mainly used it to cook one of my favourite complex carbs, sweet potato fries, and am always amazed at how much quicker it is - around 20-25 minutes, depending on the quantity. Cleaning is also a breeze, which is a welcome change from my previous air fryer. The old model had the typical detachable sieve-like tray and base, both requiring cleaning, which was a time-consuming chore - especially as it wasn't dishwasher safe. However, the Ninja CRISPi has a single glass base, reducing the cleaning task. Plus, it's dishwasher-friendly, which is a significant advantage. I do believe that this machine excels at preparing more substantial meals rather than quick snacks, such as omelettes - something I'd seen people making on social media. After trying it for lunch one day, while the top was wonderfully crispy and delicious, it took over 15 minutes to cook (compared to about seven with my frying pan) and was slightly soggy on the bottom. That's been the only downside of the machine in my opinion. Another potential drawback, according to some, is the price tag of £179.99, which they consider 'quite expensive'. The Ninja CRISPi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer is available in three different colours: blue, stone, and sage green. Ninja Kitchen's air fryer appears to be the only fully glass air fryer available on the market, as far as I can tell. However, if you're not particularly keen on that aesthetic and would prefer something with an oven-door-style design, the Lakeland Slimline Air Fryer Black is currently priced at £89.99.

Amazon's 'impressive' tower fan shoppers love now reduced by a huge 80% in time for heatwave

Amazon's 'impressive' tower fan shoppers love now reduced by a huge 80% in time for heatwave No sweat if another heatwave is on its way, this 80% reduced in price tower fan can help (Image: Amazon / Pureborne) The summer of 2025 will surely be remembered as one with multiple mini heatwaves sweeping across the country and people feeling like they are over-heating and even having difficulty sleeping as the weather reaches higher temperatures. An efficient and effective fan that can be easily controlled, doesn't take up too much space, and can also be easily moved about the home, has been a product search online for many people desperate to cool down With another few days of heatwave on the way Amazon has a limited time deal on their number one best selling tower fan. The Pureborne 36" Smart Tower Fan with remote, app and touch control has been reduced by a huge 80% from £324.99 to £64.99. READ MORE: Garden sofa set price reduced by over 70% from unlikely retailer ideal for coming heatwave YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE: Amazon's best selling hedge trimmer 'highly recommended' by buyers as 'easy to use' and 'ideal for the job' The fan has a base diameter of 32cm and a height of 91cm and four speed settings. (Image: Amazon / Pureborne) One buyer raves about the Pureborne 36" Smart Tower Fan, saying: "Impressed with this fan. It looks good and works very well. It has 4 speeds and multiple settings including a sleep setting. The fan is quiet and powerful and I am pleased with it! It is good value for money." According to Amazon the tower fan has been purchased over 900 times worldwide in the past month and offers a buyer a space saving solution with the base diameter of 32cm and a height of 91cm and four speed settings. Alternatives to the Pureborne 36" Smart Tower Fan are the Dimplex DXMBCF Black Tower Fan priced £85.00 from Argos and described as this retailer's best selling tower fan, and the DREO Pilot Max Smart Tower Fan in white available from Currys costing £150.00. A 90 degree oscillation range (Image: Amazon / Pureborne) Back on Amazon the happy customer reviews include one that says: "Extremely pleased with the fan, very quiet plus the bonus of having a sleep timer and an added remote so if used in the bedroom can be turned off without leaving the bed at night, ideal for what we want as it fits in the corner of the bedroom out of the way." The tower fan is smart too - it has normal, natural, sleep and auto modes. The manufacturer states that the natural wind mode ensures the tower fan's speed changes every five seconds to simulate natural, varying breezes. The sleep wind mode makes the fan oscillate and decreases speed every 30 minutes by up to two levels for undisturbed sleep. The display of the tower fan automatically turns off after 30 seconds in sleep mode and after 10 minutes in other modes. Four settings (Image: Amazon / Pureborne) In addition, the Pureborne 36" Smart Tower Fan is equipped with a one to 12 hour pre-set timer for automatic shut-off, saving energy and providing added safety. It can be controlled via remote, touch panel, app & voice control, and the settings can be adjusted from anywhere using the app on a mobile phone. When oscillating, the tower fan covers a 90 degree angle and covers an area of about 7.5 metres square. The fan also automatically changes speed with the room temperature - the cooler the room becomes, the slower the fan. Control via app is an option (Image: Amazon / Pureborne) These added 'smart features' have impressed some buyers, with one commenting: "I love this fan, assembly was quick and hassle free and connecting to the app and Alexa was a breeze! There are bar codes on the side of the fan, all you have to do is scan them with your phone and then take it from there, it is that easy." However, a few customers were less than impressed with the tower fan, with the difference of opinion with the majority of reviewers concerning the app control, the sound of the fan and one buyer maybe hasn't quite grasped the modes that decrease or shut the fan off. Article continues below One buyer says: "It's a good fan but it's very loud. Even on the lowest setting", while another comments: "Pretty loud, fairly weak and randomly stops blowing air as it turns." However another Amazon customer is clearly a fan of this fan, giving it a five-star review and saying: "The best fan I've ever owned. Fantastic cool breeze blowing, remote control, quiet, amazing value, I am well impressed."
