Kid Cudi is expressing his gratitude.
Shortly after appearing in court to testify in Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal sex trafficking trial, the "Pursuit of Happiness" rapper—whose real name is Scott Mescudi—shared a message thanking his fans for their support.
"Hey guys, I just wanna say I've been seeing all the love and support," Mescudi said in a video shared to X (formerly Twitter) May 22. "I just wanna say thank you so much, man. People have been hitting me up the past week, just checking in—even today."
Noting that all the kind words "really mean a lot to me," the 41-year-old went on admit he feels relieved to have closed this chapter of his life.
"This is a stressful situation," Mescudi said. "I'm glad it's behind me."
Concluding his message, he added, "I love y'all, man. Big love."
Earlier that day, Mescudi took the stand in New York to describe an alleged trespassing incident that occurred while he was dating Cassie Ventura from 2011 to 2012, amid her decade-long, on-and-off relationship with Combs.

The rapper alleged that Combs—who has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution—broke into his house in 2011 after finding out about his romance with Ventura.
And when the "Day 'N' Nite" rapper said he confronted the 55-year-old about his suspected forced entry, he allegedly received a chilling response.

"He said, 'What's up?'" Mescudi testified, per NBC News, 'and I said, 'Motherf--ker, are you in my house?' He said, 'I am here waiting for you.'"
When Mescudi finally returned home, he said only the police were at his residence. However, he alleged that security cameras had been moved, his dog was 'locked up in the bathroom' and 'some gifts were opened up on the counter.'
Combs has not publicly addressed the alleged break-in.
Mescudi and Ventura, 38, ultimately called in quits in early 2012—a decision that the "Me & U" singer testified was made due to Combs' alleged behavior.
'[There was] too much uncertainty if we continued to see each other,' Ventura said during her May 14 testimony, per NBC News. 'Sean said he was going to hurt the both of us.'

Sean 'Diddy' Combs Used Ex-Girlfriend 'Jane' As A Drug Mule, Last 'Freak-Off' Occurred Just Before Arrest, Sex-Trafficking Trial Hears
Drugs were a big part of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' life and so-called 'freak-offs,' the jury in the Bad Boy Records founder's sex-trafficking trial have repeatedly heard, and this morning the court learned how he used the people in his inner circle to get Ecstasy and more in his hands. They also heard how Combs continued to engage in the drug-fueled sex sessions ever as the law closed in on him last year. 'I just asked her if this was safe and okay,' Combs' ex-girlfriend 'Jane,' a pseudonym, said detailing a conversation with the ex-mini mogul's then top aide Kristina Khorram about her concerns of taking a bag of drugs from LA to Miami. On her second day on the stand, Jane revealed that 'KK' replied, 'it's fine, I do it all the time, just put it in your checked in luggage.' More from Deadline Judge Threatens To Bar Sean 'Diddy' Combs From Courtroom If He Continues To Interact With Jurors Sean 'Diddy' Combs: An Updated Timeline Of Charges, Allegations & Consequences The Rap Mogul Faces George Clooney Previews Saturday's Live Telecast Of 'Good Night, And Good Luck' On CNN: "Some Networks Aren't Really Up For Doing This Right Now"; How To Watch In her sometimes-tear-filled testimony under questioning from the U.S. Attorney's office for the Southern District of New York, 'Jane' spoke of other occasions when she transported Ecstasy across state lines in a plane for Combs. On the subject of drugs, which 'Jane' like previous witness and Combs' ex Cassie Ventura testified as well, said pills, cocaine and more were a primary inducement for the marathon 'freak-off' sex sessions with male escorts. To that, the witness spoke of Combs getting his personal assistants and security details to procure more when his current stash ran out for the often filmed 'freak-offs' Those sex sessions took more and more of a toll on 'Jane,' the witness said Friday, stating how she unsuccessfully begged Combs to have the other men wear condoms, the long days some of the 'freak-off' went, and the fears she had things could get violent with everyone on drugs. On trial in New York City since May 12, the 55-year-old Combs could end up spending the rest of his life in prison if found guilty on federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution and more. From 'Jane' the past two days and before that Ventura's pal Bryana Bongolan, who had told the court Wednesday that Combs had dangled her off a 17th-story balcony in 2016, the panel of eight men and four women in the courtroom has heard explicit and sometimes heartrending testimony about rapes, emotional and physical violence, blackmail, and filmed drug-juiced 'freak-offs' from the 'Me & U' singer, male escorts, and his ex-personal assistant 'Mia.' Like other witnesses in the trial, 'Mia' also spoke of watching the much-accused Combs beat, abuse and manipulate Ventura, as he did to many of the people in his orbit. In a preemptive move from their opening statement, the defense has admitted their client is guilty of domestic violence, has been a heavy drug user, a swinger, and is overall not a very nice person. Yet, in that admission, which also saw attempts to undermine the credibility of accusers like Ventura, and 'Jane,' attorney Teny Geragos made a point over and over of emphasizing that Combs isn't on trial in this criminal case for any of that, and that his relationships, as kinky as things could get, were always with consenting adults. Thursday saw things get even more immediately tense for Combs, as the usually lenient Judge Arun Subramanian threatened to have the sweater wearing and white-haired defendant removed from his own trial if he kept 'nodding vigorously' and interacting with the jury. There was little response from usually verbose lead defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo except a promise to make sure Combs maintained proper courtroom decorum. Combs certainly made a few looks in the jury's way today, but the judge seemed to let it go – for now. Having been involved with Combs since early 2021, self-described online influencer and single mother 'Jane' first told the lower Manhattan courtroom of who sweet and loving Combs was during the early days of their relationship. How he offered to pay for a house for her, and supplement her income now that she was spending so much time with him. However, as Ventura and others have stated, that shifted over time and the accused appeared to employ old school pimp tactics to control and totally dominate the woman. Again, like he did with Ventura and others, as the prosecution clearly intends to convey to the jury, a sometimes semen-smeared Combs used the same M.O. of drugs, blackmail, fear and violence to make a baby oiled up, lingerie and high-heels wearing 'Jane' participate in the 'freak-offs.' 'Jane' told the jury of a September 2023 text she sent to Combs on her anguish over the 'freak-offs' and being forced to have sex with other paid men for Combs' pleasure. 'It's hurting me, she told Combs, 'It's dark, sleazy and makes me feel disgusted with myself.' The text added: 'I don't want to play this role anymore. I'm so much more than this …I feel like it's the only reason you have me around and pay for the house.' 'Girl, stop,' Combs tersely replied. Originally only taking place in upscale hotel suites from May 2021 to October 2023, sometimes with escorts and sometimes with porn stars, the 'freak-offs' or 'hotel nights' came to an end for about three months, 'Jane' said today. The conclusion of the sex sessions came about a month before Ventura filed her very quickly settled ($20 million) abuse and assault suit against her 2007-2018 boyfriend Combs. After that suit, dozens and dozens of other civil suits against Combs followed, as well as raids of his L.A. and Miami homes by the feds and CNN's broadcasting of hotel security footage of the 'All About the Benjamins' performer kicking, berating and beating Ventura as she sought to escape a 2016 L.A. 'freak-off.' On her last day on the stand, the then heavily pregnant Ventura was forced by the defense to admit she is going to receive a $10 million settlement from the owners of the InterContinental. Today, 'Jane' said that the 'freak-offs' picked up again in February 2024, but now they took place at Combs' Florida home. There were a total of five such sessions, 'Jane' noted, with the last one occurring in August 2024, just a few weeks before Combs was arrested in NYC on the charges he is facing in this trial. Set to end before the July 4 holiday, Judge Subramanian promised the jurors, the trial runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET every weekday – except when it goes longer at the judge's discretion. Carrie & Aidan Are Facing This Classic Long-Distance Struggle in 'And Just Like That' Season 3
Warning: This article contains spoilers for And Just Like That… season 3, episode 1. Fans of Sex and the City and And Just Like That… have seen Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Aidan (John Corbett) go through a lot over the years, and the third season of AJLT will be no different. More from SheKnows Carrie & Aidan's Full Relationship Timeline From Sex and The City to And Just Like That At the end of season 2, the on-and-off couple agreed on an unconventional deal. Despite Carrie buying a beautiful Gramercy Park apartment for them to move in together, Aidan decided to stay in Virginia because his 14-year-old son Wyatt was having a hard time at school. As he delivered the news, he asked Carrie to wait five years. By then, Wyatt will be off to college, and he'll finally be able to leave his life behind and move to the Big Apple to be with her. Carrie was surprised, but she didn't exactly say no. 'No matter what happens… this was not a mistake,' Carrie said the next day as they said goodbye, per TVLine. So, as the third season of the show came around this week on May 29, fans might've been asking themselves what's really going on between them. Are they breaking up? Are they going long-distance? If episode one is any indication, Carrie and Aidan aren't breaking things off entirely. While they were keeping it cool by only sending postcards to one another at first, Aidan then called Carrie in the middle of the night. 'I miss you so much,' he says when she picks up. Then, when she called him out for breaking his own rules by calling, Aidan, who's in his truck in the middle of a field, says, 'All of that went out the window after this third beer.' Quickly, their convo goes from pleasantries to full-on phone sex. 'You know how much I love you, Carrie,' he says, while asking her to touch herself. Then, right when they were both getting into it, Aidan buzzes the horn of his truck. 'I scared myself, I hit the horn with my knee,' he says. 'I might've s– my pants a little.' After that, while Aidan gets right back into it, Carrie's understandably turned off. 'C'mon, we can get back there,' he said. 'Can we?' Carrie asks back, laughing. As she struggles to get back in the mood, she exchanges eye contact with her adorable new cat, Shoe. The mood is decidedly gone for her, but Aidan keeps going and finishes. Carrie, for her part, fakes it. Later in the episode, Carrie summarizes the experience to best friends Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon). 'He said he missed me and we had phone sex,' she says. 'More specifically, he had phone sex, I stopped midway. The kitty was watching, her little eyes were so curious. So when he went there, I faked it.' While both Charlotte and Miranda agreed that faking it was no big deal, after all a study published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior in 2010 stated that up to 80% of women have admitted to faking it with a sexual partner, per NBC News, Carrie couldn't get past it. So, she comes clean to Aidan in the last scene of the episode. 'I have a confession, I wasn't totally there with you the other night and I said I was,' she tells Aidan in a call at the end of the episode. She then tries to start up phone sex once again, this time asking him to touch himself. 'Uh, Carrie, I can't do this right now,' Aidan then replies. 'I'm in bed with Wyatt, he's asleep, he had a bad night.' Embarrassed and speechless, Carrie apologizes and almost immediately turns off the call. We'll add here that this isn't just the show and its creator, Michael Patrick King, not knowing how to portray phone sex. After all, longtime viewers of SATC might remember Miranda's phone sex adventures back in season 3, episode 10. Things got steamy over the phone, and we all wondered if we were doing it wrong all along. But, this time around, the show wanted to see a couple struggle through it. And while And Just Like That… has gotten hate over the years for being 'unrelatable,' this storyline between Carrie and Aidan is anything but. In a 2018 study from Elite Daily, 48.6% of respondents said that they never had phone sex over the phone. So, unsurprisingly, countless long-distance couples out there can relate to struggling to get the knack of it, at least in the beginning. When is the right time to get into the mood? What if the signal glitches? What if my pet is looking at me? These are all questions that LDR couples around the world may be asking themselves. And while some couples might eventually become pros, others, like Carrie and Aidan, might need a little of SheKnows 30 Photos of Marilyn Monroe's Too-Short Life, From 1947-1962 Every Time Heidi Klum's Gorgeous, Colorful Fashion Choices Stopped Us in Our Tracks Elizabeth Hurley & Billy Ray Cyrus, & More of the Best Red Carpet Debuts From Celebrity Couples Over the Years

Billy Joel's ex-wife Elizabeth Weber speaks out after his brain disorder diagnosis
Billy Joel's first ex-wife, Elizabeth Weber, has broken her silence following the iconic musician's shocking brain disorder diagnosis. The 'Uptown Girl' hitmaker, who was married to Weber from 1973 to 1982, revealed last month that he was diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus. Following the diagnosis, Weber reflected on the pair's ill-fated marriage — saying that she always knew the so-called Piano Man would become a star. 'He's worked so hard all of his life,' Weber told E! News at the Tribeca Festival premiere of 'Billy Joel: And So It Goes' in NYC on Wednesday. 'I've never known anybody who worked harder than he did in all those years we were together and working together.' While the 5-time Grammy winner, 76, wasn't in attendance at the glitzy premiere, his wife Alexis Roderick Joel, 43, was there in his place. 'I just want him to be restored to good health so he can enjoy his life and his wife and his children. He earned that,' Weber said of her ex-husband. 'The restoration of his good health is all I really care about.' Although their union crumbled after just seven years, Weber told the outlet that she still admires his work deeply, to the point where she finds it difficult to choose a favorite track. 'There's too many of them, and they're all marvelous,' she said. 'Someone can be in the audience and look at him and say, 'That could be me.'' 'Not everybody can be an unnamed pianist who sings, but everyone thinks that they could do that or be that,' she added. The 'New York State of Mind' musician canceled all his tour dates through next year after he announced his diagnosis. The rare disorder, which reportedly affects about 0.2% of people between the ages of 70 and 80, occurs when cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) builds up inside the skull, presses on the brain and disrupts cognitive functioning. 'Billy Joel has announced that he will be cancelling all scheduled concerts following a recent diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH),' the 'Only the Good Die Young' crooner's team said in a lengthy Instagram announcement on May 23. 'This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance,' it continued. 'Under his doctor's instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period.' 'I'm sincerely sorry to disappoint our audience,' his team added, 'and thank you for understanding.' Following the news, his wife Alexis broke her silence on the diagnosis, thanking fans for the 'outpouring of love and support.' 'We are so grateful for the wonderful care and swift diagnosis we received,' she wrote on Instagram. 'Bill is beloved by so many, and to us, he is a father and husband who is at the center of our world. We are hopeful for his recovery. We look forward to seeing you all in the future.' Earlier this week, Howard Stern shared a positive update on his longtime pal's well-being. During an episode of SiriusXM's 'The Howard Stern Show' Tuesday, the 71-year-old shock jock insisted that the crooner is 'not dying.' 'I saw Billy Joel two weeks ago,' he told co-host Robin Quivers. 'We had dinner together.' 'Yeah, he does have issues,' Stern continued. 'But he said, 'Yeah, you can tell people, you know, I'm not dying.' You know, he wants people to know that. He just, he's gotta deal with some medical stuff, but he was delightful.'
