VESTAL, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Vestal Golden Bears were the away team, but hosted the Horseheads Blue Raiders for the Class B Championship at Dick Hoover Stadium.
The game was back and forth and close until the end, when Vestal picked up the win, 7-6.

Mirabito has announced that Folds of Honor will be the recipient of its Mirabito Cares Round Up campaign beginning on Monday and running through July 6. Folds of Honor is a nonprofit that provides scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military members or first responders. Guthrie Lourdes Health and Fitness turns three with free wellness event
JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – A local gym is celebrating three years of wellness on Saturday. Guthrie Lourdes Health and Fitness is turning three. To commemorate the occasion, the gym is offering a free day of fitness and fun to the community. Those in attendance will be able to access the facility and participate in group classes. There will also be health screening and wellness information provided by Guthrie Lourdes Hospital. Guests can also enjoy self-care stations, healthy refreshments, demonstrations, a silent auction, and more. Guthrie Lourdes Health and Fitness is home to a large gym with a wide variety of fitness equipment as well as group fitness classes and several amenities including three pools, a hot tub, and men's and women's saunas. There is also childcare. General Manager Mark Powell says the event is perfect for non-members to come and check the facility out. 'It's really good for the community who has not been here yet to come and see what we're all about and have a free tour and take part in all of the classes that we have going on and all of the programs, especially for the kids and families,' said Powell.
