Ajay Devgn's Son Of Sardaar 2 To Clash With Siddhant-Triptii's Dhadak 2 At The Box Office
Ajay Devgn returns as Jassi in Son Of Sardaar 2. The release date moved to August 1, 2025, clashing with Dhadak 2. Both are sequels to successful films.
Ajay Devgn is all set to return as Jassi in Son Of Sardaar 2, this time featuring Mrunal Thakur instead of Sonakshi Sinha. The film, which was previously scheduled for release on July 25, will now be released on August 1. Owing to the new release date, the film is slated to clash with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri's Dhadak 2 at the box office.
Both Son Of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2, sequels of successful predecessors, will now release on the same date – August 1. While Ajay's film is backed by Jio Studios, Dhadak 2 is backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. It is now left to see how both films perform at the box office.
A statement from the Dhadak 2 team reads: 'Dhadak 2 stays rock solid on its original release plan- 1st August. The team is going ahead confidently, riding on strong early reactions to the lead pairing of Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri."

The trailer of Son of Sardaar 2, which dropped on July 14, opens with a nod to its 2012 prequel, Son of Sardaar. Early on, Ajay Devgn takes a sharp dig at Pakistan for bombing Indian soil, setting the tone for the patriotic drama. The trailer also includes a notable reference to Sunny Deol's upcoming Border 2. Mrunal Thakur's chemistry with Ajay gets more screen time as well, building on the buzz created by their viral hook step from Pehla Tu Duja Tu. The film also marks the final on-screen appearance of Mukul Dev, alongside Vindu Dara Singh, Ravi Kishan, and Kubbra Sait.
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son Of Sardaar 2 boasts a power-packed cast including Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Sahil Mehta, and the late Mukul Dev.
Presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, and produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, Son of Sardaar 2 is a Devgn Films and SOS 2 Limited production. It is produced by N R Pachisia and Pravin Talreja, with co-production by Kumar Mangat Pathak.

Mysore Masala Waffle Dosa Is The Latest Food Experiment On The Block
Dosa, a traditional South Indian delicacy, is cherished by food lovers across the country. From street-side stalls to upscale restaurants, this thin and crispy treat can now be found in many regions of India. The dish, made with fermented rice and lentil batter, is typically served with sambar (a spicy lentil-based vegetable stew) and chutneys. Like several other Indian delicacies, Dosa has often been the subject of bizarre experiments by street food vendors. In a similar experiment video, we stumbled upon a dish that turned out to be a combination of dosa and waffles. The reel shared on Instagram featured a street food vendor brushing the waffle maker with oil. Next, he poured the dosa batter into the iron skillet. We do not get to see what goes into the making of the batter. Then, the vendor evenly spread out the batter on the waffle surface and added shredded cabbage and capsicum to it. After cooking it for some time, he served the waffle dosa with sambar, coconut, mysore chutney and potato masala. Watch the full video here: View this post on Instagram A post shared by thegreatindianfoodie (@thegreatindianfoodie) Here's how social media users reacted to the video: One user wrote, "I think it will be yum. The extra crunch and browning." Another added, "Heavy meal." "Uthappam in the form of waffle," remarked a user. Someone commented, "Waffle laughing in corner." A viewer penned, "Is nobody concerned about the amount of rust on the waffle maker?" "Just call it masala waffle! Why call it dosa? The whole point of dosa is it's made on a tawa. You don't call idli steamed dosa do you? Or paniyaram made of dosa batter a ball dosa? This is funny," read a comment.
