‘Cyberpunk 2077' Delays 2.3 Patch, Reveals How Big It Is
Cyberpunk 2077
Players should not really be expecting any more Cyberpunk 2077 patches at this point, so we cannot be too sad when they're delayed. A newly announced one, Update 2.3, was set to come out this Thursday on June 26, but now that's been pushed to some new unspecified date.
While CDPR has confirmed its existence, we have not gotten any more details past that about what it will add to Cyberpunk 2077. But this new post at least says how big it's going to be, as it's 'aiming for a scope similar to Update 2.2.'
As a refresher regarding the size of Update 2.2, we can flash back to when that went live on December 10, 2024, on the three-year anniversary of the release of the base game. Now, we're six months past that, and it appears a (successful, by all accounts) Nintendo Switch launch will be in conjunction with this new patch. So maybe don't blaze through the game until we know what's being added here.
Cyberpunk 2077
To be clear, these are not huge updates in terms of missions or questlines. Rather, they're mostly quality-of-life updates, fun new additions and other things of that nature. Flashing back to 2.2, we had:
Patch 2.1 was more robust, and 2.3 may not be this big. It had:
If quests are added, they're somewhat secret, and the community will have to dig them up. But yes, 2.2 was largely cosmetic, based on character customization, photo mode and car paint. And some fairly random things, like Johnny as a passenger.
I do find myself wondering if these updates may now start teasing the upcoming Cyberpunk sequel in subtle ways, no matter how many years away it still might be. The game will move beyond solely Night City, and indications are it may take place in a quarantined, lawless version of Chicago that will be a contrast to the glamour of Night City.
We don't know when we'll get a preview of 2.3 or when it will arrive. I was looking forward to it, but I suppose there's now Death Stranding 2 to play.

The Real-Life Miserable Marriage of Consuelo Vanderbilt That Inspired The Gilded Age
The third season of The Gilded Age is not a love story. It is, however, a story about marriage: the first episode is centered around Gladys Russell (Taissa Farmiga), the teen daughter of Bertha and George, who is head over heels for Billy Carlton (Matt Walker), a well-to-do young man in New York society. He and Gladys want to marry. However, her mother (Carrie Coon) refuses to approach the match. 'It's not happening,' she says in the last minutes of the episode. Why? She wants Gladys to marry the Duke of Buckingham—a British aristocrat who would elevate the family's standing from the top of New York society to the top of European society. Taissa Farmiga and Carrie Coon as Gladys and Bertha Russell in The Gilded Age. Photo: Karolina Wojtasik / Courtesy of HBO As is often the case in his shows, Julien Fellowes was inspired by a real-life historical event for this particular plot-line: the 'marriage of convenience' between Consuelo Vanderbilt and the Duke of Marlborough. Consuelo Vanderbilt, the daughter of William Kissam Vanderbilt and Alva Vanderbilt, was just 19 when she was forced to marry Charles Spencer Churchill, the ninth Duke of Marlborough. Forced is not an exaggeration: her memoir, The Glitter and the Gold, details the lengths her overbearing mother went to ensure the union. Consuelo hoped to marry for love: specifically, Winthrop Rutherford, a handsome American who was a member of Ward McAllister's 'The Four Hundred'—or, the notable New York families that were considered to make up the cream of New York society at the time. Yet, during a trip to Europe, it became clear to Gladys that Alva intended for her to find an aristocratic suitor within the continent's gentry. While the children of her New York peers often married well, none of them had married into titles. At first, the options were lackluster. 'That summer, I received two or three other proposals from uninteresting Englishmen, which I found slightly disillusioning. They were so evidently dictated by a desire for my dowry, a reflection that was included to dispel whatever thoughts of romance might come my way,' she wrote. But then they arrived for a weekend at Blenheim Palace, the family seat of the Marlboroughs. There, Mrs. Vanderbilt found the socially advantageous bachelor she was looking for.

Nintendo's Mysterious Absence From Amazon Ends With No Explanation
For over a year now, online retailer Amazon hasn't directly sold new first-party Nintendo games or accessories. It also skipped out on the Switch 2 launch. But over the weekend, the situation changed, and now some first-party Switch 2 games and accessories are available on the retailer. Back in April of last year, people began reporting that some pre-orders of then-upcoming first-party Switch games, like Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, were being canceled without warning. And players couldn't re-order the upcoming games. Since then, Nintendo games have largely been unavailable for purchase directly from Amazon. Instead, when purchased on the site, they were sold and shipped via third-party sellers. And earlier this month, the Switch 2, its first-party launch games, and its official accessories, were similarly unavailable to pre-order on Amazon. It's been a frustrating situation for gamers who rely on the online retailer. But it's finally, possibly, coming to an end. Over the weekend, as spotted by IGN and others, a handful of first-party Nintendo games popped up on Amazon and are being officially shipped and sold by the retail giant. Donkey Kong Bananza, Super Mario Party Jamboree, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World are some of the first-party Nintendo games now available to pre-order directly from Amazon and Nintendo. This seems to indicate that the two companies have come to an agreement and ended the lockout. There was even a listing for the Switch 2, though that has been removed for now. But this all seems to point to Nintendo products and games returning fully to Amazon in the near future. As for why Nintendo stopped selling new games and consoles on Amazon, there's never been a confirmation from either company. Some fans speculate that Amazon was shipping games ahead of their release and that this led to leaks, but that has yet to be confirmed. . For the latest news, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

'Game Boy worm lights have changed a lot since I was a kid.'
Posted Jun 23, 2025 at 7:26 PM UTC 'Game Boy worm lights have changed a lot since I was a kid.' I didn't even know USB-C endoscopes were a thing , but now I've got one plugged into my Nintendo Switch 2 and phone! And yes, it also works as a GameChat webcam (including Nintendo's background removal feature) when you're not inspecting pipes and walls. Unfortunately, the $10 model I show you here is out of stock; fortunately, you can buy a less flimsy one if you want!
