There is nothing like going for an early morning stroll or a nice light jog with one of your best friends. We humans enjoy these kinds of activities together all the time. And apparently, some animals like to do the same.
As this news report shows, Poncho the donkey and Seabiscuit the miniature pony, also enjoying taking an early morning stroll together. And we must say, they are easily the cutest pair of jogging buddies that we have ever seen!
As you can see from this video, Poncho and Seabiscuit are completely relaxed, just taking their time as they trot along down the street in the wee hours of the morning before the sun has risen.
This adorable duo was spotted by a police officer who was doing their late-night/early-morning patrol and decided to follow them when they saw them trotting down the street.
Wanting to make sure that Poncho and Seabiscuit made it back home safely, this officer decided to follow them at a safe distance to make sure that they were able to find their way back home okay.
At one point, towards the end of the video, both Poncho and Seabiscuit actually turned around to face the police car. They seemed somewhat inquisitive, possibly wondering why they were being followed.Or maybe they realized that they needed to get back home and were heading in the wrong direction?
Either way, watching them turn around and staring into the headlights and seeing how gently the police cruiser came to a stop while the officer waited for them to choose which direction they would go in next made for an incredibly cute moment!
According to this news report, this adorable donkey and his miniature pony best friend did make it back home as safe as can be, with their police escort lighting the way for them with their patrol car headlights.
If you thought that Poncho and Seabiscuit really seemed like they were on the same wavelength in this video, like a couple of genuine besties, you would not be wrong.
As it turns out, donkeys and horses can make great companions. However, like with any other relationship, it has to flourish on its own terms. Not every donkey and horse will necessarily get along.
It's important to consider each creature's unique personality and be very careful and gradual while introducing them to each other to make sure that they can get along.
But, with the right precautions, there is no reason why they can't develop a close bond and become good friends like Poncho and Seabiscuit.

5 best classical arrangements for testing your headphones

I love classical music. I was raised on a diet of Mozart, Bach, and Mendelssohn. Giant orchestras that fill concert halls, pianists whose fingers dart across keys, brass sections that make your gut rumble. Classical music is huge — and I think it's a great way to test the best headphones. There's nothing like classical music to put a pair of headphones through a trial by fire. There's a lot going on, and it can be easy for finer details to get lost. The soundstage is generally super wide, given the physical width of an orchestra. There's plenty of depth, and instrument separation is important so that you can hear every part of the ensemble. But what classical music tracks and recordings do I use to test out the headphones that land on my testing table? From Holst to Stravinsky, let's find out. (Please note — not all of my favorite recordings are available on YouTube, so you can listen through Apple Music Classical with the links I've attached. Not that YouTube does any of these pieces of music justice anyway. Bon Appétit!) Qobuz is the testing streaming service that we use here at Tom's Guide. It features the best sound quality of any streaming service that we've tested, and it works out to be cheaper than Spotify if you pay for a year's subscription all at once. Part 1 of Bach's "Kyrie of the Mass in B minor" is a piece for orchestra, solo singer, and choir. The result is a moody, moving, and involving piece of classical music that can really put a pair of headphones to the test. I could write thousands of words about the piece itself, but instead, I'll just go over why it's so good for testing headphones. The most obvious and noticeable testing element is the multi-layered choir that sings the piece. It's a mixed gender choir, so a pair of headphones needs to be able to place each voice and their harmonies well enough that you can tell each section is composed of multiple individual voices. The orchestra needs to be similarly separated so that you can hear each instrument, from the strings to the woodwind. Depth is important too, as is dynamic range. It's a track that changes volume frequently, and covers the entirety of the hearable frequency range to reveal a pair of headphones' weaknesses. It's also a stunningly beautiful piece of music. Listen on Apple Music Classical Anyone who watched Fantasia as a kid (which I assume is almost everyone) is going to recognize "Night on Bald Mountain." It's the moment a mountain transforms into the devil, ushering souls into the underworld as the sky swirls and lava bubbles. The piece itself is a tour de force of late 19th-century orchestra, with incredible swells and changes in pitch and volume for even the most devilish of dancefloors. This particular piece is very good for showcasing dynamic range. There are quiet moments that counterpose the louder moments, giving them more impact. I need to be able to feel the change as well as hear it. The drums and crashing cymbals should be impactful and scary, the great horn swell unnerving. There's a lot to get wrong for a pair of headphones here, but when it gets it right, it's wonderful. I profess to a certain amount of devilry — and I can't get enough of Bald Mountain's orchestral might. Listen on Apple Music Classical Copeland's "Billy the Kid" feels like you're watching a movie. It's just a few lines of dialogue away from being a motion picture in and of itself — but that doesn't make it any less capable of telling a story. From the moment the "Allegro Molto" begins to the second it finishes, you're whisked away to the wild west, on the road with Billy the Kid and his gang of miscreants. That means there's all the more detail for a pair of headphones to get stuck into, but also a lot to trip them up. I want the string sections to feel effortlessly smooth, and the brass section needs to feel triumphant. There's delicacy needed here too, and the headphones have to be able to let me hear every part of each playful wind note. Once the 7:45 are up, I should be ready for the next piece, and the third leg of Billy's journey. Headphones that lack energy will make me want to switch over or give up. Listen on Apple Music Classical The deeply unnerving style of Igor Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring" is one of my favorite pieces of music. It moves and shifts like sand in a bowl, with plenty of short solos for a pair of headphones to relish. I love the sudden tonal shifts as the ballet continues, from calm and unsettling to big and brash. Headphones that can't keep up make the experience feel flat and boring. This is a recording that does well with a big soundstage. The orchestra is deep and wide, and in order to get the full effect, the headphones need to be able to give you great spatial imaging. I want instrument separation to be excellent as well — otherwise, the track feels like one bed orchestral mush as the instruments and the sections are squished together. Listen on Apple Music Classical What list of classical music would be complete without something from Beethoven on it? And yes, before you ask, I did have to put it number 5 on this list, because, you know. It's the fifth symphony. It's also excellent for testing out headphones. This particular recording of Beethoven's most famous work is great for testing soundstage and instrument separation as well. There's a lot going on in any one part of the symphony, and your headphones need to make sure that it's not being blended up by bad audio tuning or less-than-stellar hardware. It's a stunning symphony from start to finish, and only the best headphones can do it justice. Listen on Apple Music Classical

YouTube Will Enable Brands to Post Opportunities for Creator Collaboration

This story was originally published on Social Media Today. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily Social Media Today newsletter. YouTube's looking to help creators establish more brand partnership opportunities via a new 'Open Call' element within its BrandConnect platform, which will enable brands to post opportunities for prospective creators to apply to work with them. As you can see in this example screen, via this new initiative, brands will be able to invite creators to submit custom videos that showcase their products and/or business, based on a defined creative brief. The brand will then be able to choose from these submissions for paid promotions, via Partnership Ads, providing creators with additional monetization opportunities. As per YouTube: 'Open call gives creators of all sizes the opportunity to pursue new relationships with brands. And brands can lean on the relevance and trust of YouTube creators to get more from their social strategy on YouTube.' It's the latest in YouTube's expanding array of creator partnership options, as it looks for more ways to help brands tap into short-form video, specifically, and align with evolving video trends. Because short-form video has its own visual language and style, which can be hard to replicate for those who are unfamiliar with the format. TikTok has seen the same, with many more brands now looking to partner with top stars to amplify their promotions, which also, of course, enables those brands to get their products in front of each creators' own audience. On this front, YouTube's also added new ways for Shorts creators to prompt brands for potential partnerships, while it also recently showcased its new 'Insights Finder' (currently in beta), which will provide advanced discovery options, using Google's latest tech. These new creator discovery and connection tools aim to fuel more opportunities, for brands and creators, which will then help to keep creators active and posting in the app. Open Call is another piece of the bigger puzzle, as YouTube looks to maintain its position as the best platform for creator monetization. YouTube says that Open Call is currently available for select advertisers, with further expansion coming soon. Mini Pony 'Adopts' Cat As One of Her Own and Creates Beautiful Family

Mini Pony 'Adopts' Cat As One of Her Own and Creates Beautiful Family originally appeared on PetHelpful. The 'nuclear family' has been a popular trope in media for over a century, but the reality is that families come in all shapes and sizes. Family members may be related by blood, by marriage, or by choice, and they could be made up of anyone, regardless of age, relationship, or even species. Dog and cat parents know that pets are part of the family, but one adorable June 11 TikTok video showed that Cupcake the mini horse understands this, too. As a new mom, Cupcake is ready and willing to care for anyone who needs a little love, including a friendly barn cat named Rocky. Luckily, the tabby cat is more than happy to join the family! Their human mom couldn't help but smile when she found Cupcake, her new foal named Strawberry Shortcake, and Rocky the cat all relaxing in their stall together. They really are one big happy family! Aren't they simply adorable? At first glance, I thought the Mama Horse named Cupcake had adopted two cats, but the tiny foal (who was also a surprise arrival) is the one lying down furthest from the camera. And that's no trick of the light. She really is that small! "That cat is the same size as the foal," one commenter wrote in disbelief. Miniature ponies are fun-sized to begin with, but this day-old foal is especially tiny. Even when she grows up, though, she's not going to outgrow her feline friend by commenter was onto something when she wrote, "Cats do communal kitten raising, so she's there to help." Rocky the friendly cat is actually a boy, but he's been extremely involved ever since Strawberry was born! He naps with her, watches over her, and even tries to play with her! These two are too cute! Rocky can't help but poke his new pony pal in an attempt to say hello, but all he does is startle himself in the process. Even though he clearly loves Strawberry, he seems to still be getting used to the idea of having a baby around. This rambunctious cat may be looking forward to having a new playmate to pass the time with, but this newborn foal is still too sleepy to do very much. As she grows up, however, these two are going to be the best of friends! Looking for more PetHelpful updates? Follow us on YouTube for more entertaining videos.
