CBB fans fume minutes into the final as they're 'fed up' of 'annoying' element

Daily Mirror25-04-2025

After almost three weeks, Celebrity Big Brother's 2025 series is coming to an end with the ITV show set to crown its winner during an explosive live final - but fans have been left unimpressed minutes into the show
Celebrity Big Brother fans have rushed to complain about the ITV show minutes into the final. Viewers hit out at the music being played during the first two evictions which saw Chris Hughes and Chesney Hawkes.
"Stop playing sh** f**king music over the evictions. The crowd is there and booing/cheering for a reason. They want to be heard. S**t," one fumed. Another agreed: "They've borrowed the emotional music from the X factor and BGT and I'm just waiting for Susan Boyle to sing us out and Simon Cowell to press the golden buzzer."

"NOONE NEEDS THIS S**T MUSIC PLAYING OVER THE EMOTIONAL SCENES. ITS S***. WHOEVER DID THIS I HATE YOU," someone else echoed. And another said: "100% dude, I don't get why ITV are so obsessed with putting music throughout the show. This isn't Love Island, TOWIE etc. We went 11 years without background music on Channel 4 and it was perfect then so don't need it now."

After almost three weeks in the iconic house, the ITV show revealed which of the six semi-finalists had received the most votes from the pubic with an extra-long episode. While the series began with 13 housemates, one particular star didn't make it to the end of the first week - with Mickey Rourke being asked to leave after a number of incidents within the house.
Big Brother gave Mickey a formal warning for using homophobic language towards JoJo Siwa on his second day in the competition and by day six, we had been asked to leave.
The Hollywood star was kicked out after six days in the house for "further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour". It came after the 72-year-old aggressively confronted Chris Hughes during a pirate task and called him a "c***" and made a sexually crude comment to Ella Rae Wise.
After Tuesday's triple eviction, just six housemates remained in the Celebrity Big Brother house: Chesney Hawkes, Chris Hughes, Danny Beard, Donna Preston, Jack P. Shepherd and JoJo Siwa.

Unfortunately, Angellica Bell, Patsy Palmer and Ella Rae Wise narrowly missed out on places in the final, with the trio being evicted during the show's triple elimination on Tuesday.
In the run-up to tonight's final, there has been a lot of discussion among fans around Chris and JoJo's relationship after the pair grew close on the show.
Earlier in the week, fans slammed Chris on social media after catching him plant a kiss on JoJo's head while they bathed in the hot tub on the livestream. "I don't care what anyone says anymore!!!! Chris and JoJo's relationship and how they act with one another is so inappropriate. Imagine JoJo's girlfriend watching this. She's not going to be okay with this behaviour," one fan fumed.

Meanwhile, Chris reportedly walked away from his role on ITV Racing ahead of entering the CBB house. The former Love Island star had previously been involved in co-hosting race meetings such as the Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot.
An insider revealed: "Chris had a dream job on ITV Racing, but things turned sour after his ITV wouldn't up his pay. He wasn't paid what he thought he was owed. He had a great rapport with Oli in the Social Stable, and ITV Racing viewers have been left wondering where he went."

Great British Bake Off's Prue Leith addresses future on show after 'planning to quit'

The Great British Bake Off's Prue Leith has spoken out about her future on the show, after admitting that she threatened to quit the Bake Off universe entirely Dame Prue Leith considered her departure from the Great British Bake Off empire due to its demanding nature but opted to remain in parts of it after a pivotal chat with Love Productions. Alongside The Great British Bake Off are various spin-offs such as the celebrity edition, Junior Bake Off, and the Great American Baking Show, which Prue found intense, prompting thoughts of stepping down entirely at 85-years-old. ‌ On the Spooning with Mark Wogan podcast, she spoke about the impact of her non-stop schedule since joining the hit Channel 4 series. ‌ She said: "What happened was I thought I've got to have a summer holiday. This is ridiculous, I've been working from April to September without a break for eight years. "At that point it was for seven years. So, I went to the bosses, 'I'm going to quit. I can't do this anymore'. And it hadn't occurred to me to say, 'Can I quit some of it?'. "I just thought I had to do it all which was, at the time, Celebrity Bake Off, Great British Bake Off, Great American Baking Show, which is the same thing, and I had been doing junior bake off." The response was a pleasant surprise to Prue, who acknowledged how amenable the producers were when she broached the subject. She revealed: "And they said 'Why don't you just quit enough to get the summer holiday you want?' And I said 'Can I do that?' and they said 'Yeah, why don't you choose one that you don't want to do?' ‌ "On the new schedule I'd like to stay for a while. I want to go before I'm pushed. I don't want some poor executive to be told to tell me." Rumours about her future on the show have circulated before, and Prue has previously addressed them. Earlier this year, there were reports that Prue's friend, Caroline Waldegrave OBE, would replace her on a celebrity version of Bake Off, the Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer. In an interview with the Independent, Prue shared her feelings about the show. She said: "I absolutely love working on Bake Off and am looking forward to filming the next series and meeting our new bakers. "I am only stepping back from the Celebrity series, which is just a question of the filming commitment involved as we make these shows back to back."

Encouraging the gang to make a guess, the encouragement resulted in him accidentally spilling the answer himself. As the clip showed a man going into a coffee shop with rapidly increasing price tags until they burst through the ceiling, Stephen declared: "Literally, the prices have gone through the roof!" The contestants then stood in silence for a second as an embarrassed Stephen clocked what he had said. Jeremy Vine eventually broke the silence, pressing his buzzer and asking: "Sorry, what? Was that the answer?" Stephen then embarrassingly nodded and burst into fits of laughter alongside the cast and studio audience. "I have never in my life done that. In 10 years!" he admitted. Luke Kempner then joked: "I was just thinking 'this is a very tricky one, if it's not that!" before declaring Stephen had won himself £200. "We've got a bit of Catchphrase history here!" added Jeremy, poking fun and adding: "Roy Walker never did that." Stephen was soon crying with laughter before eventually regaining his composure and continuing with the game. Watch as three celebs fail to work out popular Catchphrase - but would you have got it on first try? Hopefully Stephen has learned his lesson - considering the show has already been given the go-ahead for an 11th series. If the three celebrities can 'say what they see' they could get the chance to win £50,000 for their chosen charity. ITV commissioner Gemma John-Lewis said: "We're delighted to announce a further series of the much loved family favourite, Celebrity Catchphrase. "The only show where you say what you see, the hugely popular series continues to win legions of fans and with Stephen's infectious and playful humour it's a firm favourite with our viewers." It is good news for the star after his other ITV programme, In For A Penny, was shelved after six years. 6 Stephen apologised and said it was the first time he'd made the mistake in 10 years Credit: ITV 6 The group burst out laughing when they realised what he'd done Credit: ITV

Andy Carroll's sexy snaps with Lou Teasdale 'gut punch' to ex Billi Mucklow

The former Liverpool star and TOWIE alumni Billi were together for 11 years, before splitting last year. They confirmed they were divorcing in September but had reportedly separated months before. And now Andy has moved on with celebrity make up artist Lou Teasdale, 41, the new couple have been showing off their blissful relationship while on holiday. ‌ Andy, 36, shared a number of photos from their trip on his Instagram account. The loved-up couple beamed as they frolicked round the pool, with photos showing they couldn't keep their hands off each other. ‌ Other images saw the footballer with his former Newcastle United teammate Paul Dummett. Another upload was a video of him enjoying a pool party with Lou, the pair hugging as they sang along. But while Andy and Lou don't have a care in the world, a source has revealed that ex Billi is watching from home. And not only is she caring for their two kids, she is also looking after his other children from his previous relationship with ex-fiancee Faye Johnstone. A pal of Billi's told The Sun: "Everyone thinks Andy is acting like an utter p***k and is making himself look like a total fool posting so many sexy shots with Lou - who he moved on with alarmingly quickly after separating from the mother of his kids. While he is off gallivanting around the party island, posting all these snaps that scream 'we are having hot sex!', Billi is at home looking after not only their children, but his two kids from a previous relationship with ex-fiancee Faye Johnstone. "It's a silent gut-punch to Billie, who is an angel and adores the kids - looking after them and protecting them from this circus is her number one priority." The Mirror has contacted Billi and Andy's reps for comment. ‌ Billi and Andy have three children - Arlo, Wolf, and Marvel Mae, while Billi also raises his two children Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14 from his past relationship. The former TOWIE favourite often shares photos of all five children on Instagram, and her nearest and dearest are said to be furious with Andy's behaviour. Their marriage got off to a shaky start, with Andy's stag do causing Billi to move out of their Essex home and ditch her £200,000 engagement ring. While he was celebrating his stag in Dubai, he was pictured in bed with two women as he lay passed out. The photos were shared on social media and Billi only came round after he aplogised and insisted nothing ever happened with the women. The women who shared them also apologised and said they never had sex, with Billi ending up walking down the aisle. ‌ They were married for two years before splitting, and Andy quickly moved on with One Direction's makeup artist Lou, with him reportedly already wanting to propose to his new girlfriend. She has spent time in Bordeaux, where Andy lives now he plays for the French football club. A source told The Sun: "Andy is very close to proposing to Lou - they are madly in love. She is spending as much time as she can with him in France and Andy has never been happier. He's been telling friends his divorce can't come quick enough. Lou is exactly what he needs because she is a calming influence on him and it's noticeable the change she's had on him to everyone around them.'
