Chadwick, Fornaroli lined up for Jaguar rookie Formula E test in Berlin
Chadwick, best known for her three W Series titles, returns to the Jaguar I-Type 7 for the third time this season. She's been behind the wheel during the women's test in Madrid and took part in the rookie free practice session in Jeddah earlier this year.
The 26-year-old is racing in the European Le Mans Series with IDEC Sport and made her debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, adding an LMP2 class win to her growing list of achievements.
'I'm looking forward to teaming up with Jaguar TCS Racing again for the rookie test in Berlin,' said Chadwick.
'I am hugely grateful for the opportunities I've had to drive the Jaguar I-Type 7 this season, and I'm eager to get back on track with the team again.'
Fornaroli will get his first taste of Formula E machinery. The Italian is enjoying a strong season in Formula 2, sitting fourth overall with Invicta Racing after picking up a win at Silverstone, four podium finishes and two pole positions. Last year, he clinched the FIA Formula 3 title with a consistent run that included seven podiums.
'It is a privilege to mark my first official test in Formula E with Jaguar TCS Racing,' said Fornaroli.
'It is going to be a new challenge for me, but one I am looking forward to. To work with the world championship-winning team is a great opportunity for me and it will be exciting to take to the Tempelhof Airport circuit for the first time.'

These cars were sold through the Lexus South Africa Dealer Network, with distribution across all nine provinces. Lexus South Africa told the NCC that the impacted cars are equipped with a V35A engine that contains crankshaft main bearings, which allow the crankshaft to rotate within the engine assembly while running. Engines in the cars 'During a specific production period, there is a possibility that the engine machining debris of a particular size and amount may not have been cleared from the engine during manufacturing and subsequently contaminated the engine assembly during the production process. 'For these engines, in the affected vehicles, the pressure of the main bearings due to the engine configuration is such that if the machining debris adheres to the bearings and operation continues at higher loads over time, failure of the bearings may occur. 'Consequences include engine knocking, rough idling, failure to start, and in more severe instances, an engine stall while driving, which poses a serious safety risk due to the sudden loss of motive power.' 'Owners of the affected vehicles are urged to immediately contact the nearest authorised Lexus dealership. Lexus, as submitted to the NCC, will replace the engine at no cost to the consumer.' Mass Ford recall Ford Motor Company Southern Africa (FMCSA) recently issued a recall affecting four models, totalling 5 718 cars that might be affected by the issues. FMCSA stated that it is recalling EcoSports made between April 2021 and July 2022, Pumas from November 2021 to September 2024, and Rangers, as well as Everests, between June 2022 and March this year. Ford said the cars were not only sold in South Africa, but in other parts of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) nations. Porsche takes Formula E team and manufacturer titles
Porsche won the team and manufacturer titles as the all-electric Formula E championship wrapped up its season in London on Sunday. Nissan's Oliver Rowland had already won the drivers' crown with two races to spare. The Briton retired from Sunday's race after a crash. New Zealand's Nick Cassidy won both races at the ExCel centre on Saturday and Sunday as he said farewell to Jaguar with second place overall in the championship. Sunday's victory was a fifth in six races for Jaguar. Cassidy beat Mahindra's Nyck de Vries by 13.5 seconds with Sebastien Buemi third for Envision after Jaguar's Mitch Evans finished second on the road but was then handed a five second penalty and dropped to fifth. The race was the last for Jaguar team principal James Barclay, who is moving to head McLaren's world endurance hypercar team, and also for the McLaren Formula E team.

Formula E and FIA agree to contract extension to at least 2048
Formula E will remain until at least 2048 the only all-electric single-seater series sanctioned by motorsport's world governing body after announcing a contract extension with the FIA on Friday. The Liberty Global-controlled series said the 10-year extension, with sources indicating an option for a further five years, provided a solid platform for long-term growth and investment opportunities. Formula E expects its cars to be on the same level as, or exceeding the performance of, other top tier series including Formula One by the middle of the century. The current Gen3 Evo car can already accelerate from 0-100km/h in 1.82 seconds, 30% faster than a Formula One car with a top speed of 321km/h. 'We've believed in Formula E since day one, and this extension reaffirms our confidence in where it's headed,' said Liberty Global CEO Mike Fries. 'With the FIA's continued backing, we can now take the next big steps — scaling the sport, growing its global fan base, and continuing to push the boundaries of what electric racing can achieve.' Formula E CEO Jeff Dodds said the series had shown extraordinary growth in 11 seasons so far. 'With this long-term extension, the opportunity that Formula E now has to impact world motorsport will be truly transformational,' he said. The current Formula E season closes in London with two races in London this weekend. The drivers' title has been won already by Nissan's Oliver Rowland.
