Hayden Panettiere to Star in Movie "Sleepwalker"

Hayden Panettiere (Scream) is set to star in psychological thriller "Sleepwalker", which recently wrapped production in Rhode Island.
Producing are Verdi Productions and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way Productions.
Golden Globe nominee Panettiere portrays Sarah, a grieving mother who is haunted by the tragic loss of her daughter in a car accident that left her abusive husband in a coma. As she battles a surreal descent into darkness, her sleepwalking episodes intensify. Plagued by haunting visions of her husband inside their home, she grapples with the blurred lines between reality and nightmare.
Chad A. Verdi (Bleed For This) and Appian Way's Jennifer Davisson (Robin Hood) are producing, along with Phillip Watson, Michelle Verdi, Chad Verdi Jr. and Paul Luba.
Executive producers include Taylor DiGilio, Sera Verdi and Anthony Gudas. Brandon Auman penned the screenplay and is directing.

"Ready or Not" Sequel Gets Title as Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood & More Join Cast
Yara Sameh Sarah Michelle Gellar ('Buffy the Vampire Slayer') and Elijah Wood ('The Lord of the Rings') will star in Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett's 'Ready or Not' sequel, officially titled 'Ready or Not: Here I Come,' alongside Samara Weaving, who reprises her role as Grace, and Kathryn Newton ('Freaky '). Principal photography began Monday in Toronto. Shawn Hatosy ('The Pitt'), Néstor Carbonell ('The Dark Knight'), Kevin Durand ('Abigail'), and David Cronenberg are rounding out the cast. Guy Busick ('Abigail,' 'Scream') and R. Christopher Murphy ('Castle Rock') are returning to pen the script, along with producers Tripp Vinson ('Fountain of Youth,' 'Murder Mystery'), James Vanderbilt ('Zodiac,' 'Fountain of Youth'), Bradley J. Fischer ('Transformers') and William Sherak ('Abigail,' 'Scream'). The first movie, which also included Adam Brody, Andie MacDowell and Henry Czerny, cost only $6 million to make but earned $28 million domestically, becoming Searchlight's biggest release of 2019. 'We're thrilled to be returning to the world of 'Ready or Not' with Samara, Brett, Avery and Andrew and so excited to work with this immensely talented cast and the incredible artists across every department joining the 'Ready or Not' family,' said Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett, who directed the 2019 hit. Searchlight Pictures president Matthew Greenfield added, 'We're beyond excited to make another film with the phenomenal Radio Silence. With "Ready or Not: Here I Come," we get to go on another ride with the amazing Samara Weaving, mix in awesome new voices, and bring audiences a fresh take that's every bit as twisted and fun as the first one. This is for those who've been waiting, and those who didn't see it coming.' Also returning behind the camera from the original black comedy horror 'Ready or Not' are production designer Andrew Stearn ('The Umbrella Academy'), director of photography Brett Jutkiewicz ('Scream'), costume designer Avery Plewes ('Scream VI') and makeup head of department Colin Penman ('The Apprentice'). New additions to the crew include editor Jay Prychidny ('Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice'), hair department head Ryan Reed (It Chapter Two), and sound mixer Thomas Hayek ('Thanksgiving,' 'The Boys'). Executive producers are Chad Villella, Tara Farney, Greg Denny, Busick, Murphy, Weavin,g and Paul Neinstein. Jennifer Lopez's "Kiss of the Spider Woman" Gets Release Date
Yara Sameh The feature musical "Kiss of the Spider Woman", starring Jennifer Lopez, Diego Luna and Tonatiuh will be getting wide theatrical release on October 10. The movie had its North American rights acquired by Roadside Attractions, Lionsgate and LD Entertainment. Also opening on October 10 is Disney's "Tron: Ares", Warner Bros/Legendary's "Animal Friends" with Jason Momoa and Ryan Reynolds, and the exclusive launch of Amazon MGM Studios' Luca Guadagnino thriller "After the Hunt" with Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield and Ayo Edebiri. The Bill Condon-directed "Spider Woman," an Artists Equity production, is based on the book by Terrence McNally and John Kander and Fred Ebb's songs from the Broadway show. Argentinian author Manuel Puig wrote the original 1976 novel upon which the 1985 Oscar-winning movie starring William Hurt, Raul Julia and Sonia Braga is based. Luna and Tonatiuh play jail cellmates Valentín and Luis, respectively, in a military-run 1983 Argentinian. Widow dresser Luis keeps Valentín's spirits alive with tales about his favorite actress, Ingrid Luna (Lopez), and the movie musicals she starred in. Roadside Attractions acquired Gia Coppola's "The Last Showgirl" out of the Toronto Film Festival last year and quickly ramped up awards-season buzz for its lead star Pamela Anderson.
