'You' star disappointed to be shunned by Emmys: 'I'm not supposed to say it out loud'
Anna Camp, who starred in dual roles as Raegan and Maddie Lockwood in the final season of Netflix's "You," took to Instagram on July 15, to share her disappointment that she didn't receive an Emmy nomination for the hit series.
The show, which stars Penn Badgley as serial killer Joe Goldberg, was snubbed by Emmy voters this year, and received no nominations in major categories throughout its run.
"Me reading about the nominations this morning knowing I gave one of the best performances of my life while also trying to be happy for everyone and while also remembering I vowed to stop drinking during the week 🫠," Camp wrote.
In the comments of the post, some of the actress' followers applauded her performance and shared their disappointment that the show wasn't recognized. But others criticized her remarks, with one follower accusing her of "bad sportsmanship" and arguing she was being "rude towards your fellow actors" who did receive nominations.

On July 16, Camp shared further thoughts in a follow-up comment. She wrote that she is "very happy for everyone's success" but also "holding space for myself to be a little bummed" about not being nominated.
"I feel like I'm not supposed to be a little disappointed or if I am, I'm not supposed say it out loud," she wrote. "Some people think I'm a good actress, some people think I'm terrible. When you start opening up and getting real instead of smiling and nodding through it all it's definitely freeing, but also invites people to criticize you more."
The "Bride Hard" star continued: "People want you to be humble, but confident. It's ok to feel multiple emotions at once and it's also ok to express them."
"You" debuted in 2018 and aired its final episodes in April, wrapping a five-season run. Based on the show's Emmys track record, Camp was not expected to receive a nomination this year. The 2025 Emmy nominations were instead dominated by shows like "Severance" and "The Penguin," which led the pack with 27 and 24 nods, respectively.

There's Nothing Happy About This Meal: Wendy's and Netflix's Wednesday Cook Up a "Meal of Misfortune"
Launching in restaurants nationwide on August 4, Wendy's exclusive collaboration with Netflix's hit show, Wednesday, includes new "Raven's Blood" Frosty and four mystery "Dips of Dread" sauces DUBLIN, Ohio, July 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- What happens when two iconic pig-tailed provocateurs join forces in the kitchen? They create a meal that is pure punishment in a bag: introducing the Wendy's® x Wednesday™ Meal of Misfortune. Designed by Wednesday Addams, the other pig-tailed outcast herself, the limited-time Meal of Misfortune is centered around the "Dips of Dread," four inferno-inspired mystery sauces, along with "Rest in 10-Piece" Nuggets, small "Cursed & Crispy" Fries and a small "Raven's Blood" Frosty®, all served in custom packaging only Wednesday could have devised*. Fans can grab their very own Meal of Misfortune beginning Monday, Aug. 4 across the U.S. in restaurants or via the Wendy's app in the U.S., just in time for the Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 premiere on Netflix on Wednesday, Aug. 6. Don't bother asking which sauce you'll get – you must surrender to your destiny. Those brave enough to try them all must endure multiple visits. Wayward souls can dip into the Raven's Blood Frosty, complete with a "Spoon of Gloom"** and Wednesday-themed Frosty cups, perfect for seeing that delicious dark cherry swirl. "Wendy's and Wednesday are both cultural icons famous for challenging convention with wit and a bit of sass," said Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer, The Wendy's Company. "This isn't a typical collaboration, because not just any brand could scheme up a Meal of Misfortune with Wednesday Addams. But for a brand that's proudly customer-obsessed and unapologetically bold, it was a match made in dark, dry-witted heaven." In addition to the Meal of Misfortune, U.S. fans have a chance to win $10,000 by helping Wendy dodge the perils of normalcy with an interactive game experience, "Escape from Wednesday's Woe." Season 4 Of 'Ted Lasso' Is Officially In Production — And We Have A First Look
The hit Emmy-winning series Ted Lasso has been 'exhumed,' as star Hannah Waddingham put it. The Apple TV+ juggernaut, which was once believed to end after season 3, is officially making its return. Here's everything we know about Ted Lasso's next season. Yes! In March 2025, it was announced that Ted Lasso would return for a fourth season. In a statement about the renewal, per Variety, Sudeikis said: 'As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to 'look before we leap,' in season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it's exactly where they're meant to be.' Here's the official logline from Apple: Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women's football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would. Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Jeremy Swift, and Brendan Hunt are all confirmed to return. When asked about returning for a fourth season of Ted Lasso, Waddingham said, 'It feels like it was the most beautiful, beloved dog that was buried, and now we've exhumed it, and I am here for it. I was hankering and hankering and hankering and hankering to see where Rebecca had gone, where she was going to. She's my girl. She's in my bloodstream, so I'm thrilled that it's been exhumed.' She continued, 'I can't wait to get involved with that and put my penneth in and go shopping for her looks.' Season 4 will also have a few new additions: Tanya Reynolds (Sex Education), Jude Mack (Such Brave Girls), Faye Marsay (Adolescence), Aisling Sharkey (Jurassic World Dominion), Abbie Hern (My Lady Jane), and newcomer, Rex Hayes. Their roles have not yet been announced. Grant Feely will also join the cast and step in as Ted's son, Henry, a role previously played by Gus Turner. Yes!
