
MG Developments pushes Savoy phase past 40% completion, advances work on Blue Blue Ain Sokhna
The company has now exceeded 40% completion in the sixth phase, Savoy, within Blue Blue, in line with the approved timetable. The Savoy phase stands out as one of the most distinguished phases of Blue Blue, thanks to its prime location and exceptional architectural design. It is currently being developed under the supervision of ACE Moharram. Bakhoum as the general consultant, in collaboration with EMAC Contracting company, which has been contracted specifically to build the largest water lagoon within the project— an unprecedented feature designed to elevate the visual appeal and interactive leisure experience within Blue Blue.
This lagoon is one of the project's defining features, designed as a vast recreational water expanse that mirrors the beauty of the coastal environment. It offers an ideal setting for water activities, relaxation, and entertainment, while its scenic architectural views add both aesthetic and investment value to all units within the development.
The Blue Blue project spans over 120,000 sqm and consists of six diverse phases, including chalets, villas, and hotel units, complemented by fully integrated commercial, entertainment, and service facilities.
The development boasts a private beach stretching 300 meters along the Red Sea, with designated areas for marine activities, restaurants, and hotel services.
Situated in the Windmills area of Ain Sokhna—one of the most beautiful spots on the Red Sea—the project benefits from breathtaking natural scenery and fresh, year-round breezes, making it a perfect destination for leisure and relaxation, as well as a prime location for luxury coastal living and long-term investment.
As part of its vision to deliver a fully integrated tourism product, MG Developments is currently building an international hotel within the project, aimed at enhancing the tourism infrastructure, elevating the accommodation experience, and supporting the concept of integrated communities that combine leisure, luxury, and long-term investment.
This step comes within the framework of the company's strategic plan to expand in the tourism sector by developing four new hotel and tourism projects in Ain Sokhna, which are currently under construction. UAE delegation reviews pioneering experience of the Swiss Nutrition & Food Valley, an advanced model of food clusters H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, led an economic delegation of leading national companies from the food and agriculture sectors to Switzerland. The visit aimed to explore global best practices in building food innovation ecosystems, developing food clusters, and promoting research, development, and the adoption of sustainable solutions in the food sector. As part of the visit, the delegation participated in an event titled ' Empowering Innovation in the Food Sector and Building Food Clusters for a Sustainable Economic Future, ' held at the headquarters of Bühler Group, a global leader in industrial and food solutions based in Uzwil, Switzerland. The event brought together a distinguished group of private-sector representatives, industry experts, and decision-makers from across the Swiss food sector and related institutions. H.E. Bin Touq said: 'The UAE has adopted an ambitious, strategic vision to develop an integrated and pioneering model for food clusters, embedding it within the national economy. This forward-looking approach charts a promising path that enhances economic and industrial integration across the country. By connecting multiple sectors within the value chain – from agriculture and food manufacturing to transportation and logistics – it drives sustainable development, boosts productivity, and advances economic diversification. Ajman Department of Tourism Development launches second edition of ‘Self-Exploration through Tourism' summer training programme to enhance students' professional skills
Following the resounding success of its first edition, the Ajman Department of Tourism Development ADTD launched the second edition of its 'Self-Exploration through Tourism' summer training programme. The programme is a part of the Department's ongoing efforts to empower Emirati youth and enhance their future contribution to the development of vital sectors in the Emirate, most notably the tourism sector. The programme, which runs until July 31, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM daily, targets Emirati students currently pursuing their university studies at an academic institution within the country. The programme offers students professional, hands-on experience in a realistic work environment, to strengthen their applied knowledge, refine their communication and interpersonal skills, and provide important workplace insights for identifying potential career paths post-graduation.
