Drake's Critically-Acclaimed Blockbuster Earns A New Spot In His Catalog

Forbes2 days ago
Drake is one of the most successful musicians in the history of streaming music. He's earned that title thanks to a massive discography and a seemingly countless number of hit singles. Several of his albums rank among the most streamed of all time, and he regularly appears on Billboard's Top Streaming Albums chart, which lists the most successful titles on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others throughout the United States.
While his latest full-length, Some Sexy Songs 4 U with PartyNextDoor, is still his biggest win at the moment, one of Drake's earliest sets — and one of his most highly-regarded — emerges as a true streaming classic this week.
Drake Sets a New Streaming Record
Take Care is one of two Drake full-lengths to appear on the Top Streaming Albums chart this frame, as the set lifts one space to No. 31. It hits 63 weeks on the tally, and that, as it turns out, is a special number.
Drake's 2011 project now stands as his longest-charting title ever on the Top Streaming Albums ranking. Last frame, Take Care was tied with For All the Dogs, as both had managed 62 stays. Now Take Care has passed the 2023 favorite.
Drake's Streaming Chart History
Throughout the few years that Billboard has been publishing the Top Streaming Albums chart, Drake has sent seven projects to the ranking. Some Sexy Songs 4 U already sits in third place on the list of the longest-running with 24 weeks, while Certified Lover Boy managed 20. Her Loss, his collaborative project with 21 Savage, earned 18 stays. Scorpion held on for 13, and Views — one of Drake's most commercially successful efforts — only lived on the list for two frames and stalled in the lowest rung possible.
Take Care Made Drake a Superstar
Take Care helped certify Drake as a superstar and much more than a one-hit wonder. Released in the fall of 2011, the set produced smashes like 'Headlines,' 'Make Me Proud,' and 'The Motto.' The project earned the Canadian rapper his first Grammy, for Best Rap Album.
Take Care Rises on Multiple Billboard Charts
Take Care is on the rise on every Billboard chart on which it appears this frame. As it nears 650 weeks on the Billboard 200, it inches north to No. 32. The project can also be found inside the loftiest tiers on both the Top Rap Albums and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums tallies, where it appears at Nos. 7 and 10, respectively.
Drake Maintains His Dominance on the Billboard 200
Eight different Drake albums appear on at least one Billboard list this week. All of them — including Some Sexy Songs 4 U and Take Care, as well as Views, Certified Lover Boy, For All the Dogs, Scorpion, Thank Me Later, and More Life — live on the Billboard 200, while some of his most popular also manage to take up space on the company's hip-hop- and rap-specific lists.

Love retro smartphones? This leaker is turning old iPhones into art

Sonny Dickson is known for leaking the latest information about upcoming smartphones. We've covered several Sonny leaks on Tom's Guide over the years, and his track record is quite solid. But Dickson isn't just here to spill the beans about upcoming phones. He's also a fan of the past, which is why his new product, called Collectible Phones, is designed to take discarded smartphones from the past and transform them into art. As soon as I saw the first framed phone, I had to know more about the project. I did some digging and found that it's not just about making art, but there's a "commitment to sustainability" motivating the project. We generate a significant amount of e-waste, so finding a way to repurpose old phones is beneficial. It could introduce a whole new item to collect — people collect retro games and other old tech, so why not phones? I asked Dickson what inspired him to start the project. "Everything I saw on the market just wasn't very good, poor layouts, low-quality parts, or sloppy presentation," he said in an interview with Tom's Guide. "I knew I could create something that truly celebrated the technology and history of these devices, with the quality and attention to detail they deserved." Currently, the website has a deconstructed original iPhone for sale. It's a conversation piece to have on the wall, and it gives you a little history of the first iPhone. Every detail, from the dimensions to the specs of the camera, is laid out. If you've ever wanted to take an original iPhone apart but were too afraid to, this $349 art piece is worth a look. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. And it's not just the art pieces — Dickson's website features a wide selection of vintage phones for sale, all of which are fully intact and in good condition. You can get an original iPhone, the T-Mobile G1, the first Android phone and more. The prices are reasonable for these phones, with the G1 selling for only $167. But these phones aren't easy to find, as Dickson says that getting them is "extremely hard, especially if you're looking for perfect back housings and original components in great condition." As soon as you start talking about collecting, you have to think about rarity. Every collectible item, from trading cards to Funko Pops, has its value connected to rarity. If collecting old phones takes off, some devices are going ot be harder to come by than others. "The 4GB iPhone 2G is one of the rarest. It was only on the market for a short time before Apple replaced it with the 8GB version. Finding one in pristine condition can feel like hunting for some sort of treasure," said Dickson regarding the rarest phone. If you have one of those kicking around your home, you may have a piece of history that not everyone can get their hands on.

Ed Sheeran Is Everyone and Everywhere for a Stalker Fan (Rupert Grint!) in ‘A Little More' Video

Ed Sheeran's stalker fan from 'Lego House' 14 years ago is back — and in recovery. (Well, kinda.) On Thursday, the musician released the video for his new single 'A Little More,' and it reconnects Sheeran's fans with a character he introduced in the + music video. In the original video, Rupert Grint (yes, Ron Weasley from Harry Potter) played a Sheeran superfan with a serious, unhealthy obsession — sneaking onstage during a show, hopping into Sheeran's tour bus, and even chewing his gum. From there, Grint goes to 'Stalkers Anonymous' meetings, watches old Sheeran interviews, and tries to ease back into a normal life. Eventually, he spots Sheeran training at a nearby gym, but before he can spiral again, he meets a girl, falls in love, proposes, and moves in with her, slowly starting to let go of his obsession. Still, he seems to see Sheeran everywhere, even in the faces of the people at his support group. 'Cause I used to love you / Now every day I hate you just a little more,' sings Sheeran during it all. 'Life got better when I lost you / But every day I hate you just a little more and more and more.' In the final scenes, Grint's character walks down the aisle with his beautiful partner, though he hilariously keeps seeing Sheeran's face on everyone in the church, even her, when he uncovers her veil. The video wraps with a ridiculous post-credits scene from the wedding reception, featuring Sheeran in a full wedding dress, totally committed to the waltz choreography. (And Sheeran teases a new track from his upcoming album.) 'A Little More' is the follow-up single to 'Sapphire,' which features him singing with Arijit Singh in Hindi and Punjabi, and 'Azizam.' Sheeran even updated his Spotify page to a photo of Rupert Grint to continue the stalker fantasy. 'A Little More' precedes his album Play, which drops Sept. 12. Miley Cyrus Says She's Got Something ‘Really Special' Planned For ‘Hannah Montana' 20th Anniversary

Miley Cyrus can't quit Hannah Montana. The singer who rose to fame playing the teen who secretly moonlighted as pop star Montana on the show that debuted on the Disney Channel on March 24, 2006, told SiriusXM's TikTok Radio recently that she's working on something 'really, really special' to commemorate the series' 20th anniversary. 'I want to design something really, really special for it because it really was the beginning of all of this that now sits here today,' Cyrus said to host Chris Olsen about the show's March 2026 anniversary. 'Without Hannah, there really wouldn't be this kind of… this me. It's so crazy to think, too, that I started as a character that I thought was going to be impossible to shed. And now that's something that when I walk into a space, it's looked at as this sense of nostalgia or something that you have from your childhood, but I've now been as kind of integrated into everyone's life as the character itself. So that's exciting to get to celebrate that.'
