
Man, 20, stabbed during early morning altercation in Plateau-Mont-Royal
A 20-year-old man was stabbed during an altercation in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough early Saturday morning.
Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call around 3:30 am reporting an injured man at the intersection of Saint-Laurent Boulevard and Roy Street.
When police arrived on the scene, they found the victim with an upper-body stab wound caused by a sharp object.
He was transported to hospital, and authorities do not fear for his life.
According to several witnesses, the man had been involved in an altercation with at least one suspect.
No arrest has been made.
The investigation is ongoing.

Fatal ATV collision in Middlesex County: Chippewa police
Chippewa police are investigating a fatal collision. The incident happened at about 3:45 p.m. on Aug. 14 when an ATV crashed on Chippewa Road. According to police, the ATV travelling on Chippewa Road had left the roadway and ejected the driver. A 37-year-old male from Middlesex County was transported to hospital and later pronounced deceased. This incident is still under investigation.
