Oasis fans have taken over Cardiff as they arrive for the long-anticpated reunion of Liam and Noel Gallagher on stage. In just a few hours time, the doors will open at the Principality Stadium in the Welsh capital.
Superfans queuing overnight have already had their tickets checked after braving the elements in a 24 hour queue. Their dedication certainly has paid off though, as the band took note have have upgraded them to VIP tickets.
Those still looking to secure a golden ticket for tonight's event have been warned about potential scams as they scramble for a last minute spot.
The hotly-anticipated tour is the culmination of months of speculation, a feverish ticket sale and a long 16 year wait from fans. A shock comeback was unveiled in August 2024, with the band declaring: 'The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.'
A chaotic rush for tickets followed with 17 dates announced across London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Dublin before the band announced more concerts in North America, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Chile and Argentina - giving fans around the world the chance to hear the hits live again.
Excitement for the Britpop revival is reaching fever pitch, with fans queuing up outside the Principality Stadium more than 24 hours before the doors open. Cardiff is now preparing for over 74,000 fans to flock to the Welsh capital for the most 'biblical' night in music history.
Here's everything you need to know.
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
Fans have wasted no time in getting their hands on Oasis merchandise as they flock to the stalls selling all the official gear. It appears to be around a 20-30 minute wait to get served as fans have formed long queues.
Our Mirror reporter Mark Jefferies, who is at the stadium, says most fans are wanting to bag the Cardiff branded itemts, which are only available at the three stalls at the Principality Stadium.
Transport for Wales have issued guidance for those fans using the railway network to get to and from today's show. They said: "Things to remember if you're heading to the Oasis gigs. You must buy your ticket before getting on the train. A post-event queuing system will be in place at Cardiff Central. Cardiff Queen Street will close at 22:00."
According to the map, there will be different queues depending on where your train's destination is. This will come into place at 22:00. The Oasis show's curfew is 22:30.
Fans are flooding into Cardiff by rail, with train station staff on hand to direct them to where they need to go. Different train arrivals have different exits scheduled to them, with passengers leaving through metal barriers.
Security are then on hand checking tickets. However, there are only a handful of people to check the tickets casuing some tailbacks when more than one train arrives at the same time.
To help meet demand, staff at the Principality Stadium have decided to open up another merch stand. Fans have been flocking to buy the exclusive merchandise outside the stadium as anticipation builds.
Merchandise includes city-specific event items with touring Adidas' lines, including Adidas football shirt with the words 'Cardiff, UK' for £85, a dated tour collection, including T-shirts with the words 'Oasis 04.07.2025' on the back is sold for £40, Cardiff exclusive poster for £40 and other flagship exclusives, such as a Live '25 keyring for a £10.
Oasis have teased fans with just five hours to go as they have given a sneak look inside Cardiff's Principality Stadium. The band's team have been working hard all week to put together the finishing touches for tonight and tomorrow's epic comeback shows.
They showed fans what they can expect with a short black and white video filmed inside the stadium. Crews got to work putting the massive stage together, placing the Oasis logo right above it and screens either side.
Fans have been urged to be careful with last minute tickets as desperation grows to be part of the action. Those hoping to get secure tickets for the show tonight have been warned that they need to be careful over scammers.
Oasis have enlisted Twickets as the official online resale partner and at the time of writing, there are no tickets available for tonight or tomorrow night's gigs in Cardiff. Twickets has been used by many stars to allow for safe resale of unwanted tickets.
Explaining their mantra, Twickets said: "Twickets is an ethical ticket resale marketplace, enabling users to sell spare tickets at the price they paid, or less.
"We have partnered with Oasis as their official ticket resale platform to protect fans from being ripped off by profiteering resale sites that encourage ticket touting. Sellers sell for free, and buyers pay a standard booking fee of 10-15% of the sold for ticket price. Buyers can purchase with all major debit / credit cards as well as PayPal."

Liam Gallagher's ex-wife Patsy Kensit has made one thing clear ahead of the reunion tour kicking off - she's not getting involved.
The actress, 57, was married to Liam from 1997 until their split in 2000. This week, she walked the red carpet for the West End opening of Fawlty Towers, where Good Morning Britain caught up with her.
She was asked whether she planned to attend any of the reunion shows, but was quick to set boundaries. 'My 24-year-old son is gonna be there, and gonna have a lovely time, great for him to see all of that,' she shared.
'I'm happy for his dad, I think it's a wonderful thing, but I won't be attending." When pressed further on how the feuding brothers might hold it together for a full tour, Patsy shut the topic down altogether.
'I think I've said enough now about that. I send only love and light," she said firmly.
The shocking price of a pint for the Oasis tour in Cardiff has been revealed - with fans expected to spend a fortune on cigarettes and alcohol over the weekend.
Based on the prices at the Principality Stadium at recent gigs and rugby matches, Oasis fans will shell out a whopping £7.80 for a pint of lager. Or they can opt for a four-pint jug for £31 – which will make each pint just 5p cheaper.
The high price tag isn't expected to put fans off though, as they have been forecasted to buy 8,667,600 pints during the tour, with 2,219,458 of those pints getting chucked in the air in celebration.
Not only are Liam and Noel reuniting with each other, but so are their kids. The whole family has come together to mark the end of the long running fallout, with a new generation of Gallaghers set to carry on their legacy.
Liam's three kids Lennon, 25, Gene, 24, and Molly, 27, have become very close to Noel's daughter Anais, 25. The four cousins have come back in a classic Rockstar way with a photo shoot for fashion and music magazine W.
They promise to be at every show as they get to watch their dads perform for the first time as adults. Lennon added: "I can't wait… It's a massive, monumental thing, it's going to be fantastic."
Some Welsh fans will know they are in for a treat as Oasis played the International Arena in Cardiff as long ago as March 18 and 19 in 1996.
According to the news website Nation Cymru some fans say these gigs are amongst the best Oasis ever played, and a bootleg copy of the March 18 gig has been shared by lots of fans online and can be found on YouTube.
One fan commented underneath: 'I was at this gig. Before Swamp song started Noel was on the mic and said "no matter what anyone ever tells you, you are about to see the best band in the world'
Amongst the set list are three acoustic tracks from Noel - Whatever, Wonderwall, and Slide Away. After those tunes, the band ended with Don't Look Back In Anger, Live Forever and I am The Walrus.
Some fans think they have spotted a very telling sign the feud between brothers Liam and Noel may not be fully buried.
After 16 years, the famous siblings will stand on stage together for the first time. In the years apart, there have been plenty of spats and brutal digs thrown at each other, which may prove hard to forget.
Ahead of the gig, one eagled-eyed ticket holder shared a snap of Oasis' rehearsal room, suggesting that guitarist Bonehead would be separating Liam and Noel while on stage for the tour.
Captioning the black and white shot in which Bonehead's guitar can be seen in the middle of the photo, they wrote: "Photo of the Oasis rehearsal room. Bonehead will be between Liam and Noel during the tour."
Speculating on all of the band's positions, they continued: "Gem [Archer] - Andy [Bell] - Liam (Joey [Waronker] behind) - Bonehead - Noel."
Could the positions be a way of the brothers ensuring distance is kept? One fan shared: "That will look really odd - he has never stood there before."
One fan has shared the "heartbreaking" reason she has decided to sell her ticket. Yue Xiong, 23, who is originally from Shanghai in China but now lives in London, told WalesOnline that she had been a fan of the band since she was 16.
She even told the outlet that their music had "saved" her life. Yet this week, Liam put out an apology following a now-deleted post that featured a racial slur.
Fans were quick to react over his use of the offensive term, which is used to mock or imitate languages spoken in China, people from east Asia or of east Asian descent.
Yue found his remark to be a step too far despite being a huge Oasis fan. She admitted: "I kind of stopped being a fan two days ago because what Liam said is completely not acceptable.
"As an Asian and as a Chinese person I could not deal with it just by keeping silent and accepting what he was saying. I just can't participate in that anymore. Otherwise it will be disrespectful for my own community where I come from."
Following the incident, Liam wrote: "Sorry if I offended anyone with my tweet before it wasn't intentional you know I love you all and I do not discriminate. Peace and love LG x". Read more here.
One Oasis superfan shocked when he revealed just how much he had spent to be there when Liam and Noel step out on stage later today.
He spent a staggering $30,000 (£22,000) to fly his family from California to Cardiff for the momentous occasion. However, some Good Morning Britain viewers thought that was just too much to splash out.
One person tweeted: "I was watching an article on the news today. A family flew into Cardiff from Los Angeles to watch Oasis tonight. It has cost them $30,000 so far. The old saying, 'a fool and his money are easily parted,' comes to mind."
Another was even more critical, posting: "To the Yank that spent $30,000 for him and his family to see Oasis you are a mug!"

It will be open from 11am to 7pm as it serves up a special Oasis themed menu.

It has been revealed those fans who braved the elements and slept outside to secure their spot have been given VIP tickets from the band! Oasis have reportedly upgraded their tickets, which will surely make all them hours feel very worth it.
Lorraine correspondent Nick Dixon revealed: "Some of the more passionate fans with tickets have been queuing up at different sections of the stadium since yesterday because they want to get in there as soon as the doors open at 5pm and rush to the stage.
"It turns out that the band and the band's management had noticed the fact that they were there because all of a sudden, on the other side of the stadium, security rounded up the fans and moved them."
He continued: "We were at first wondering, 'I hope they're not being turfed out, they've got tickets,' but actually security told me that the band spotted them and they've been moved to a different area - a VIP area. They've had a massive upgrade on their tickets which is fantastic for them. They've left here deliriously happy."
Liam and Noel have already been spotted at Principality Stadium... but in the form of cardboard.
The iconic brothers have been dragged out by fans outside the stadium as they pose for photos among the many Oasis signs. However, it won't be long until they will be treated to the real thing as Liam and Noel will return to the stage in just a matter of hours.
For those lucky few (or should we say brave) who managed to queue up for hours to get to be first in line, it looks like it has paid off.
Stewards have scanned their tickets and let them enter into the arena where they will be held in a pen before doors open at 5pm. Fans will be hoping their efforts will pay off as they battle for a spot at the barrier.
The very first fans have taken a step closer to the stadium having queued up for hours. Those who camped out over night to secure their spot have just been able to scan their tickets and are able to enter the arena.
They will still be waiting outside the Principality Stadium until doors open at 5pm, but have that extra reassurance of securing their spots at the front.
It's a nice day in Cardiff, with the sun set to shine until this evening. There is a high of 21 degrees and a low of 15. Expect a sunny day with a moderate breeze.
Doors will open at 5pm, when the temperature will be at a nice 20 degrees. By the time Oasis come on stage, temperatures will be at 18.
When it is time to leave the stadium, the sun will have set and it will be a pleasant 17 degrees.
As of this morning, Transport for Wales have a good service running. There had been disruptions between Merthyr Tydfil / Aberdare / Treherbert and Cardiff Queen Street on Thursday evening into Friday morning that has since cleared.
It is always best to check before you travel with your train operator or National Rail Enquiries.
Traffic Wales have already put out a warning ahead of the Oasis shows as they urged: "Don't get caught out- check before you travel and allow extra time for your journey."
They report traffic on the M4 increases by around 15% when large events are taking place. The majority of road works will occur on the M4, which can increase travel time, but are often completed with overnight or lane closures.
Their advice reads: "Plan ahead. Check the latest traffic information before you travel. Check your vehicle before setting off. Allow extra time for your journey.

Some fans wanted to be extra sure to get the spot they want this evening as they started queuing last night! Oasis fans from all around the world have flocked to Cardiff to be part of the historic show.
Fans have already started camping outside the Principality Stadium as they aim to secure their spot for tonight's historic gig.
Jas Griffin-Jones from Liverpool was first in the queue ahead of the first reunion gig followed by French sister and brother, Anne and Pierre from Brittany, were also sat in the queue well over 24 hours before the concert even starts.
Others have come prepared with tents and suitcases as they braved a night sleeping outside the stadium to ensure they can be at the barrier to watch Liam and Noel reunite once and for all.
He found fame as the frontman of The Verve but Richard is back with his first album in four years.
Announced yesterday, he's set to release Lovin' You in October of this year. The first track from the record, Lover, was first played across the nation on Wednesday.
The song fits into Joan Armatrading's mega hit, Love And Affection, and has even been praised by the songwriter herself, who said: "I love how he's sued my song and I love his song."
Liam is, well, known for his choice of vocabulary, and Vernon Kay found that out.
Fellow northerner Vernon has never shied away from sharing his love for Liam, and his latest revelation certainly tops everything. He said that he bumped into Liam and his former wife, Nicole Appleton, at a Prodigy gig in 2009 after the couple had been on holiday.
"I'd had a couple of lagers and cheekily yelled at him: 'Is that fake tan you're wearing?'," he wrote for The Sun. Vernon added: "For a minute, I thought he was going to hit me. He shouted: 'No, I'm f***ing not you lanky streak of p***.'"
So many of us cannot wait to see Noel and Liam walk out on stage together. I'm not-so-patiently waiting to find out what they're going to perform and if their recent rehearsals have tricked us.

Here, our Showbiz Editor, Mark Jefferies, reveals just how important the reunion is for him. Oasis burst onto the scene when he was a teen, sneaking into the pub for a cheap pint. Although cigarettes weren't on his mind, alcohol and Oasis definitely were.
He said: "In Cardiff, the wait will be over, the best part of two decades since we have seen them. It's been a long wait, and I've tried to pretend I am not too bothered, but the last week or so leading up to the show, I've struggled to sleep sometimes and thought about the gigs every night as I tried to nod off."
