No. 70 now belongs to left tackle Paris Johnson, who should hopefully be a mainstay for many more years. We hope he becomes the Cardinals' best No. 70 in franchise history.
Shelton and Kennard were OL starters for multiple seasons.

Seahawks DL Leonard Williams, a Cardinals killer, is No. 99 in 'NFL Top 100'

The Arizona Cardinals will have a player announced as part of the "NFL Top 100" this week as they reveal players 91-100 throughout the week, but that player was not Nos. 99 or 100. Those players were revealed on Monday. However, one was a Cardinals killer. Advertisement Coming in at No. 99 is Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Leonard Williams. Williams might have single-handedly derailed the Cardinals' 2024 season. The Cardinals were 6-4 and in first place in the NFC West in Week 12 coming off their Week 11 bye. Facing the Seahawks that weekend, Williams wrecked the game. He had 2.5 sacks, six tackles, three tackles for loss, four quarterback hits and a tipped pass. The Seahawks beat the Cardinals 16-6, starting a 2-5 stretch to end the season. In two games against the Cardinals, Williams had 11 tackles, 2.5 sacks, four tackles for loss, four QB hits and two tipped passes. Cardinals tight end Trey McBride was featured in the video that revealed Williams was No. 99. He said, "It's frustrating to see the impact that he makes in games. He obviously can wreck games." Advertisement Teammate Julian Love, a safety for the Seahawks, said Williams single-handledly won two games for Seattle and one was that game against the Cardinals in Week 12. The Cardinals will face him twice more in 2025. Get more Cardinals and NFL coverage from Cards Wire's Jess Root and others by listening to the latest on the Rise Up, See Red podcast. Cardinals Farm Report: Luken Baker Turns Page After Rough Start at Memphis

Cardinals Farm Report: Luken Baker Turns Page After Rough Start at Memphis originally appeared on Athlon Sports. As the season reaches its midway mark, some new names are beginning to stick out among the ever-churning minor league rosters of the St. Louis Cardinals organization. Advertisement Here's some of last week's best minor leaguers in the Cardinals farm system and a player to watch for in the near future: Luken Baker, Memphis Redbirds (Triple-A) Baker hit for a .444 average with a 1.278 OPS in 18 at bats last week, racking up six doubles to drive in four and score twice. The 28-year-old is looking to turn the page on his rough start with Memphis and make his way back to the big league roster. St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Luken Baker hits a two-run double against the Los Angeles Angels on April 1. Jeff Curry-Imagn Images Ryan Campos, Peoria Chiefs (High-A) Campos, the Cardinals' No. 18 prospect, led the Chiefs with eight hits in 17 at bats and added two doubles and four walks for a slash line of .471/.571/.588 in five games. Advertisement The 22-year-old catcher has struggled to start the year for Peoria, but could be sparking a revival for the second half of play. Rainiel Rodriguez, Palm Beach Cardinals (Low-A) Rodriguez, 18, looked more like the player we saw in May with the FCL Cards last week. The organization's No. 6 prospect hit .313 with four doubles and seven walks, scoring twice and driving in a pair for his first breakout week at the Low-A level. Player to watch for: Yairo Padilla, FCL Cardinals (Rookie Ball) Padilla, the team's No. 7 prospect, turned things up a notch at the plate for the Baby Birds of the Florida Coast League last week. Advertisement The 18-year-old shortstop carried a .353 average with a double, two walks and three stolen bases. If he can sustain the numbers he put up last week, Padilla could be on the fast track to Palm Beach in the coming months.
