
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 may come with Exynos 2500 chip: What it means for Galaxy S26

Over the past few months, we have been hearing mixed opinions about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7's performance upgrade. While some rumours anticipate the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, others are hinting towards the Exynos 2500 chip. Now, according to a Korean publication, DealSite, Samsung may go all in for a proprietary mobile application processor (AP), Exynos 2500, for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 model. Therefore, the same chip will be available in all regions. Over the years, Samsung has been introducing Snapdragon chips for its foldable, but this may officially change this year.

As far as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is concerned, the report highlighted that it will come with a 'mix of Exynos and Snapdragon' based on the region. Which may also come shocking to the buyer. In previous reports, the Exynos 2500 chip was said to have a low yield. However, Samsung has agreed to power its foldable with its in-house chip despite the challenges.

Well, it is too early to make an assumption since we have 6 more months to get a glimpse at the Galaxy S26 series. However, we can speculate that Samsung might be running a trial and testing of the Exynos 2500 chip with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Additionally, Samsung is also rumoured to be working Exynos 2600 chip based on a 2nm process, which will likely power the new generation Galaxy S series models. Therefore, we can say that the company is focusing on in-house chip development for its smartphone, rather than heavily relying on Qualcomm.

Google on Wednesday (August 20, 2025) launched the new Pixel 10 Pro Fold along with Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The new Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be the second foldable phone from Google in India. Pixel 10 Pro Fold gets the Gemini Nano on-device for gen AI capabilities and competes with Samsung and Vivo's foldbale phones in India. Like all the Pixel 10 series phones, the new Pixel 10 Pro Fold runs on Tensor G5 processor along with Titan M2 coprocessor for security. It will be available in 16 GB variant and in single colour option of Moonstone. Pixel 10 Pro Fold uses a 5,015 mAh battery that supports 30W wired charging. It also gets the Pixelsnap wireless charging (Qi2 certified) up to 15W. Pixel 10 Pro Fold features a 48 MP main camera with macro, a 10.5 MP ultrawide lens and a 10.8 MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom. It sports dual 10 MP front camera on cover and main screen. Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra Appears in Leaks, Highlights Reduced Notch Size
Samsung's next-generation high-end Android tablets are about to launch. WinFuture has published Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra leak, which show a significant change to its display. Samsung's 'Ultra' tablet has always been a monster of a device. A 14.6-inch display makes it supersized but also svelte and thin, all while packing a punch with its performance. A notable feature that has been carried over in every generation of Samsung's largest tablet is its display notch. While every other device in the lineup has shunned the notch, Samsung tablet notch has included one in its design for years. The notch has always featured two front-facing cameras. WinFuture has now acquired and published Galaxy Tab S11 images, and it is immediately clear to see the same general Tab S11 Ultra design language that Samsung uses for its supersized tablets. Per the report, the Ultra will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, and come with 16GB of RAM and an 11,600 mAh battery while shipping with Android 16 / One UI 8. All of this will be wrapped in a device that's just 'around' 5mm thick. The only noticeable difference in these leaked images, however, is the display notch. Samsung tablet 2025 has been slimmed down and isn't as pronounced as previous models. The notch is also rounded and more closely resembles a half-circle cut into the display rather than the distinct notch of its predecessors. The reason for the reduction is simple, as Samsung has removed one of the two front-facing cameras included in the tablet. Previous models came with both a standard lens and an ultrawide, but the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will only house one of these two cameras. It could ultimately prove to be a net positive for users, even if it remains jarring to see a notch of any kind on such a large tablet.
