TELLY fans might already be owed Disney+ memberships without even realising it.
Sadly Disney no longer offers free trials for its Netflix rival in the UK – but there's still hope for plenty of Brits.

You can claim a free Disney+ subscription via O2

It turns out that free Disney+ is a built-in perk for several services that you might already be using.
That means you can access its massive library of Disney content, including Star Wars and Marvel shows and movies too.
DISNEY+ DISCOUNT TRICK #1 – MOBILE NETWORK
If you're an O2 customer and a Disney fan then you're in luck.
O2 has a couple of Disney+ offers that can save you loads of money. It's handy given the soaring cost of streaming bills.
The main perk is a free six-month membership to the Disney+ Standard plan.
That's normally billed at £8.99 a month – equal to £107.88 a year.
It's available if you're new to O2 or upgrading with the network.
This is the closest thing to a Disney+ free trial that exists in the UK today.
Once that's up, you can then add Disney+ Standard or Premium to your plan as a paid extra, and then get £2 a month back as a discount to your airtime bill.
DISNEY+ DISCOUNT TRICK #2 – BANK ACCOUNT
Phone networks aren't the only way to bag free Disney+.
Netflix unveils first TV make-over in 10 years for millions of viewers
There's a special benefit for Lloyds Bank members who have opened a Club Lloyds current account.
This is a free account if you're putting at least £2,000 a month into it – or £3 a month if you pay in less than that.
Once you've got this account, you can choose a free Disney+ subscription as a benefit.
You'll receive a free 12-month subscription to Disney+ on the Standard With Ads plan. That's normally £4.99 a month, or about £60 a year.

This plan gets you Full HD 1080p viewing, two streams at once, and the regular library of content (albeit interrupted by ads).
The downside is that you can only get the "With Ads" subscription – and there's no way to upgrade it to Standard or Premium during the free period.
Once you've chosen Disney+ as a benefit, you'll have to wait for the 30-day selection period to end.
After that, a Disney+ activation link should be issued within two working days.
SUBSCRIPTION TRICK – SAVE HUNDREDS!
Once you've checked your subscription renewals, try the swap trick too...
Here's a clever method from The Sun's tech editor Sean Keach:
Look, streaming bills are a nightmare. Especially when it comes to TV.
There are loads of services – all packed with top telly – that demand your cash.
So consider rotating them instead.
Cancel all of them but, say, Disney+, then watch that for a month.
Now bin it, and move on to Netflix, and enjoy that content library.
Then scrap that, and swap to Amazon's Prime Video for the third month.
Once you're done (or you've added a fourth service to your mix), start over from the beginning.
It means you get to watch all of the top TV shows and movies on these services without paying for a full 12 months for each. You'll save hundreds over a year.

You'll be able to use that to claim your free year of Disney+.
DISNEY+ DISCOUNT TRICK #3 – SHOPPING LOYALTY SCHEME
If you don't have a Tesco Clubcard already, go get one now.
They're free to claim, you can add it to your phone's virtual wallet, and you'll get in-store discounts – as well as a very tempting Disney+ perk.
It's not technically free Disney+, but it's a major saving regardless.

You can trade Tesco Clubcard vouchers for discounted Disney+

Tesco will effectively double the value of your Clubcard vouchers if you're spending them on Disney+.
For instance, you can swap £7.50 in Clubcard vouchers for a three-month Disney+ Standard With Ads subscription (usually £14.97).
And a Standard three-month subscription worth £26.97 can be snagged for just £13.50 in Clubcard vouchers.
Just go into the Clubcard app, place the order, and wait for your "Partner Code" to appear in the My Rewards section – and via your email. You might have to wait 15 minutes for the code to turn up.
Sadly it's not possible to trade Clubcard vouchers for the Disney+ Premium plan.
But it's worth noting that Tesco has previously given away three-month Disney+ memberships for free to Clubcard members, so keep an eye out for offers like that in the app.
It's also worth noting that this Tesco Clubcard offer is available for both new and existing Disney+ subscribers, so it's a great way to save some money.
As you're technically getting the Disney+ membership for half price – and through free vouchers, no less – this is like bagging a no-cost subscription for at least part of your year.

Ed Sheeran reveals intense safety measures he's taken to protect family

Ed Sheeran has revealed that he has 24-hour security at his Suffolk house after an attempted break-in. The singer, 34, has a sprawling estate in West Sussex, which is made up of five houses which he purchased in 2012. This is just one part of his large property portfolio reportedly worth £57 million, but the Suffolk home is where he resides with his wife and two daughters in what he calls Sheeranville. In a recent interview, the Castle on the Hill singer revealed that there are intense security measures at the property, ensuring his family's safety. 'I do think that there is a different kind of normal that is our business. I have like 24-hour security on my house. I have security with my kids. 'I have security with me. I have security with my wife, just because there have been a couple of weird things over the years that have happened,' he said on The Louis Theroux Podcast. He clarified that this practice was completely normal in the music industry because of the 'dangerous people' out there and a recent break-in attempt. 'Just so you know, there are lots of dangerous people out there. We've had like you know, a break-in attempt. 'In my industry, that's normal. That's kind of like an underlying thing that no one really talks about, but that is kind of a part of being in the public eye.' Ed married his childhood friend Cherry Seaborn in 2018 after the pair began dating in 2015. The couple had children just a couple of years after tying the knot withLyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, born in 2020, and Jupiter Seaborn Sheeran, born in 2022. While in conversation with Louis, Ed also spoke about his children's privacy as he explained why fans will rarely see images of his two daughters. 'I'm very, very private about my children's image … I can't take them to zoos or parks or anything really without someone trying to film them. 'There are times where the normal parts of life I kind of mourn for and wish I could push my kid on a swing in a public park and it not be weird, you know?' He added that his children had not 'signed up' to being famous: 'People go, well that's the trade-off. But my kids have not signed up to that.' This isn't the first time the Shape of You singer has spoken about the tough parts of fame, explaining previously that he locked himself at home when he found the public scrutiny too intense. More Trending In 2017, he told The Sun: 'I stayed inside for four months. I just ordered food in and watched movies. 'I couldn't just go out and get a pint of milk. I always wanted to maintain normality – being able to go to the pub or go and do a gig. 'I just stopped going out, instead I was ordering takeaways and putting on a lot of weight. I hadn't got any balance, so I just stayed inside.' Got a story? Scarlett Johansson reveals the REAL reason her Thunderbolts producer credit was removed

Scarlett Johansson revealed why her Thunderbolts executive producer credit had been removed from the film. The actress, 40 - who recently resembled Marilyn Monroe on set of an upcoming 'gritty' Russian mafia movie - opened up about the topic while talking to David Harbour for Interview Magazine. The Stranger Things actor took on the role of Red Guardian in the latest Marvel project - alongside other stars such as Florence Pugh, Lewis Pullman and Sebastian Stan. Johansson and Harbour's conversation took place on opening day of Thunderbolts and David asked the beauty if she had already seen the movie. Scarlett - who is known for portraying Black Widow in the Marvel franchise - replied with, 'No.' 'Okay. You are an executive producer on it. Congratulations,' he added, to which she explained, 'I asked to have my credit removed because I wasn't involved.' David then jokingly quipped, 'You hated the movie that much?' which prompted Johansson to add, 'No, you're just wanting that to be the case.' The Oscar-nominated actress then stated that she was 'proud' of Harbour as well as the cast of Thunderbolts. The superhero film - which was directed by Jake Schreier - officially hit theaters last month on May 2, and raked in $376.8 million in the box office on a budget of $180 million. Scarlett later reflected on her time starring in Marvel movies such as Iron Man 2 (2010), The Avengers (2012), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Black Widow (2021). However, while talking about the plot of some films, the star stated that sometimes characters simply felt like 'a device to move it along.' 'Some of the films that I did for Marvel engaged my character more than others. Like in Captain America: Winter Soldier with Chris Evans, we were really dynamic.' Johannsson continued, 'In some of the other films, the cast was so enormous and there was so much plot to serve that you start to feel like you're a device to move it along. 'And if you're committed to five and a half months of that, it's like, "Okay. I can't paint my nails, I can't get a haircut."' Scarlett further explained that 'your identity is wrapped up in this job for a long time, and if you're not doing engaging work as an actor, you feel a little cagey sometimes.' During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the actress labeled The Avengers (2012) a 'mess' - despite garnering a whopping $1 billion in the box office. 'When we made the first Avengers, none of us knew what the potential would be. Iron Man was massively successful. It was huge; it built the studio of Marvel. And then Iron Man 2 was also very successful,' the star told the outlet. 'There was Thor, and that character felt like it was from a completely different universe... It was such a different tone [from] the Iron Man movies. And then, of course, the Captain America movie had its whole own identity as well.' Johansson added, 'And then when you added the characters all together, plus Hulk and Hawkeye, it just felt like a big mess, to be honest. Even on the set, it felt crazy, because we all looked insane. It was like, "What are we doing?"' The Lost In Translation actress then admitted, 'I don't think anybody knew if it was gonna work or not. '[Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige knew it was gonna work; Joss Whedon knew it was gonna work. But the cast... it was blind faith, basically, that we all had in Joss and Kevin Feige.' But after filming the iconic Battle of New York scene, Scarlett shared that the cast changed their opinion and said, 'It felt powerful.' Last month in May while also talking to Vanity Fair, Johansson got candid about her future with Marvel films. Avengers: Doomsday is slated to hit theaters next year in 2026, but the actress stated that she will not appear in the movie. 'It would be very hard for me to understand in what capacity [returning] would make sense for me, for the character that I play,' she explained. 'I miss my buddies and really would love to be with them forever, but what works about the character is that her story is complete. I don't want to mess with that. For fans too - it's important for them.' Back in 2021, she notably settled a lawsuit with Disney after she sued the company for an alleged breach of contract by offering Black Widow on streaming at the same it played in theaters. While Scarlett doesn't have plans to return to the MCU, she has been keeping busy and took on a role in the upcoming film Jurassic World Rebirth (seen above) While Scarlett doesn't have plans to return to the MCU, she has been keeping busy and took on a role in the upcoming film Jurassic World Rebirth. The movie - which also stars Jonathan Bailey and Luna Blaise - will premiere in theaters later this summer on July 2. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress talked about being cast in the Jurassic Park franchise and said it was 'unbelievable.' 'I've been trying to get into a Jurassic movie for, I don't know, 15 years or something. I was so stoked that it all came together.'

Fusing architecture style with smooth lines, the Vitaly range is a great choice for festival goers and snappy dressers In a world where fashion often follows the crowd, sometimes it's nice to break the mould by wearing some unique and unconventional jewellery. With the festival season just around the corner, summer is the perfect time to try something new. Much more than just accessories, the right piece of jewellery is a statement of individuality and creativity. Vitaly is a Canadian based jewellery and accessory company wowing Brits with chunky, funky, heavy metal pieces. Known for its minimalist, architectural-inspired designs, the brand specialises in genderless designs. Using using 100% recycled stainless steel in all their products, Vitaly is committed to ethical sourcing, offering stylish and eco-conscious options for trend setters. One of the highlights of the Vitaly collection is the The Paralyze chain. Blending soft and hard elements, the statement piece has gently curving spikes that take on an almost feather-like appearance. Available in a choice of stainless steel, gold and polished black metals, one buyer praised the unique style of the £185 heavy metal chain, saying: "This work of art is magnificent." Another unique piece that's hard enough to handle every sweaty set and midnight mosh pit is the £61 stainless steel Monolith ring. Available in a choice of nine different sizes, the solid polished band with two substantial planes is said to "embody both oneness and separation." For a more subtle twist, bring the bling to the ears with Series Hoops. A set of six stackable hoops designed for maximum versatility, Series features two earrings each in three different sizes. Made from stainless steel, the set is on sale for £72, buyers have called them "a great set of hoops" that are "simple and high-quality." Jewellery lovers who would like to try Vitaly for less could snap up a bargain on their sale page. Some of the best deals include the RPM bracelet - an homage to the humble AUX cord, the adjustable bangle comes in stainless steel or gold. Reduced from £102 to £72, it's an unusual gift for music lovers. Other great buys include the The Fang necklace - a show-stopping neckpiece with an otherworldly appearance reduced from £208 to £125 and the Decibel ear cuff, designed to be worn without the need for a piercing, is now £55 down from £91. Another who snapped up Collateral cuff in the sale, called it: "Beautiful and sculptural cuff. So well made and fits like a glove. I know it's going to be a huge compliment getter!" "These rings make any outfit shine," said another shopper who purchased the Grip rings, adding: "they are so simple and shine really nicely. I'm very satisfied with these!" While there were no negative reviews to speak of, one buyer who left a three-star review on Trustpilot said: "I bought stuff on 25% off but still felt like their prices are on the steep end. Their designs are cool and different, but that seems to be their only unique selling point." A five-star review that summed up the Paralyze chain said: "My favourite necklace. It's even better than I expected. I get so many compliments."
