The honours came when tourist destinations across the country were presented with gongs at a lavish ceremony.
The 8th annual Prestige Scottish Hotel Awards, held in Glasgow's Doubletree Hotel, saw everything from luxury resorts to self-catering stars gain recognition for their customer service and facilities.
The 4* Sandman Signature in Glasgow walked away with the title at the Innis and Gunn sponsored awards.
The stylish city-centre hotel opened in summer 2023 on West George Street and quickly won popularity with guests and their four-legged companions.
The awards, voted for by the public and judged by a panel of industry experts, celebrate excellence across Scotland's hospitality industry.

Part of the Canadian-based Sandman Hotel Group, the Glasgow property is one of four Sandman hotels in the UK.
Located in Glasgow's iconic Pegasus House building, renovated over a period of four years, the hotel has 179 rooms set across ten floors, a fitness centre and popular on-site steakhouse and bar CHOP Grill & Bar.

Warren Paul, who runs the awards, says the calibre of the finalists was incredible.

'Incredible' Netflix film based on true events is leaving viewers in tears

"Now, even if you're not a fan of wrestling or sports at all, like me, this is a story everyone should hear." The TV and movie critic described it as "one of the best" true stories he has ever seen. Eccleston went on: "So make sure you get this film on your watch list. I actually beg you to check this one out." His TikTok clip has racked up 26y,600 views, 3,000 likes and more than 100 comments to date. One viewer, who has seen The Iron Claw, enthused: "That film is insane. I cannot believe it's true, it's amazing." Someone else who had seen the film was deeply touched, saying: "It's been on HBO part of their A24 collection btw! For anyone who has HBO. This movie broke me down and had me tearing on a plane. That ending." Sean Durkin, a Canadian-American film director and screenwriter, directed The Iron Claw. Tui cheers profit jump despite pressure from heat waves and Middle East conflict
Bosses at the firm stressed that the group has been boosted by its recent growth strategy. The German-based tour operator saw profits surpass expectations after positive trading from its cruises and experiences operations. The update came a day after the company upgraded its financial forecasts for the current year. Tui Group chief executive Sebastian Ebel said: 'The third quarter and the first nine months of the financial year 2025 were strong. Our strategy is paying off. 'We are benefiting from our integrated and diversified business model and managed to reduce the group's seasonality further. 'All this in a continuing challenging environment for our markets and airlines segment with economic difficulties in Europe, Europe-wide heat waves in the summer and the conflict in the Middle East.' The company said summer bookings in its markets and airlines business are down 2% year-on-year. Tui said this has been driven by a continued trend towards late bookings, citing 'the impact of the June and July heat waves in our source markets, as well as the Middle East conflict'. But it highlighted a 'positive start' to bookings for the winter season. It came as Tui cheered record underlying earnings for the quarter to June 30, rising to 321 million euros (£278 million) from 232 million euros (£201 million) a year earlier. This was supported by a 56.2% jump in earnings from its cruises business, which was buoyed by the launch of two new cruise ships and strong trading conditions. Meanwhile, earnings in its Tui Musement activities and experiences business were up 6.8% for the quarter. The company said total underlying earnings are now on track to grow by between 9% and 11% this year. It previously forecast growth of between 7% and 10%. Tui told shareholders that total group revenues increased by 7.1% to 6.2 billion euros (£5.4 billion) for the quarter, amid growth in both volumes and prices.

'Without a gallery rail, especially if you only have four prongs holding your stone, if one prong gets pulled down and caught on something, you will lose your stone,' she said. She then showed off a photo of a ring that didn't have a gallery rail on it, and furthered that it's definitely something you don't want to buy, as you really need that 'extra support.' 'Next, I would never buy a very, very thin-banded engagement ring,' Jordan said. 'While thin bands like these can be very pretty, it is just not very durable.' She recommended sticking to 'at least' a band that was 1.8 millimetres in size. 'These days, it's been very trendy to choose an engagement ring with a very thin, barely-there band, but this is very risky,' she told 'A very thin band (less than 1.6 mm) will be more prone to bending and breaking.' 'Furthermore, gold wears away over time,' she continued. 'If you start with a very thin band, it will wear away to almost nothing over many years of wear. I always recommend going with at least 1.8 - 2mm in band width.' Last but not least, Jordan revealed that she wouldn't recommend buying engagement rings that had a diamond band on them in the video. 'Next, I would never buy an engagement ring that looks like this, that has a bubble band, that's what they call it,' she said, showing off an example of what she meant. 'This has one prong holding every two stones in the band,' she continued. 'This is not durable at all.' The Castlefield Collection founder then flashed another example on the screen, a ring that had a band complete with oval-shaped diamonds on it. 'You do not want to buy a ring like this,' Jordan explained. 'The question is not if it will drop stones, it's when.'
