The name "Equence", inspired by the word "sequence," signifies order and progression, with the "E" representing the digital nature of its services.
At the heart of Equence's USP is a reliable, scalable omnichannel communication platform that integrates SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, Email, RCS, and more, backed by expert consulting and compliance-first infrastructure tailored for emerging markets.

Equence's CPaaS solution is built on a robust on-premises infrastructure, RESTful APIs, and modern communication protocols (SMPP, SIP, HTTPS). Since its product launch in 2017, Equence has established a solid reputation for reliability, performance, and innovation.
Equence also takes a head start in AI-powered communications, incorporating ChatGPT models into its WhatsApp and voice chatbots as part of its solutions for intelligent automation and context-aware dialogues.
Equence's product family is designed for omnichannel, compliant, and custom communication. Whether a startup that sends 100 messages a day or an enterprise that sends 2 crore messages per day, the system scales effortlessly.
Key features: -
* Plug-and-play JSON APIs for quick integration
* End-to-end compliance support (DLT, TLS, MFA)
* Omnichannel dashboards with real-time analytics
* Vertical-specific solutions for BFSI, e-commerce, logistics, and more
* Upcoming in-house Dispatcher platform for unified vendor management
Internally, cross-functional teams ensure customer experience is not only an objective, but it's a quantifiable deliverable. Software such as Freshdesk and feedback loops ensure high satisfaction ratings are maintained.
Equence is still fully funded by itself, proof of its model of sustainable growth and operational strength.
Strategic alliances with Indian telecom companies, META (WhatsApp), and Google (RCS through VI) have extended its reach and capabilities.
In the short term, Equence will release an upgraded UI with highly integrated channels and a Dispatcher solution that will enable clients to orchestrate multi-vendor communication workflows smoothly.
In the long term, the company is aiming for aggressive growth in gaming and e-commerce, along with extending into the UAE and Middle Eastern markets. Its compliance, automation, low-code tools, and AI integration focus make it a future leader in the fast-changing CPaaS space.
"We see CPaaS becoming more intelligent, secure, and democratized. Equence is building for that future, especially for businesses in high-growth, regulation-heavy markets," adds Mr. Pankaj Behera, CTO.

Ganapati makhar makers struggle to meet last-minute demand from homes, housing societies this year

1 2 Pune: The delayed approval for PoP Ganesh idols has not only sparked last-minute demand for such idols but also rushed decorators, who did not prepare decoration setups in advance, anticipating less demand this year. Based on the size of idols, makhars and backdrops are specially customised for homes and housing societies. "Vendors are busy creating makhars for large Ganapati idols. We found a vendor to create a small 3D temple for our home idol after much difficulty. They are saying deliveries might be delayed to around Aug 25," said Jyotsana Nadkarni, a resident of Kothrud. "We contacted our decorator a day after we placed an order for our Ganesh idol. This year, the idols are about 10-15% more expensive than last year owing to the last-minute demand," said Harsha Kamble, a resident of Hadapsar. Customers are demanding eco-friendly makhars and backdrops, said vendors. "We had hardly any orders at the beginning of June, so we just prepared a few basic makhars. Bookings started pouring in at the end of June, and now we are facing high raw material and labour costs. We hope we can make deliveries on time," said a decorator at Sadashiv Peth. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Best SIP Plans for NRIs in Romania – Get ₹2L Monthly Pension | Invest ₹18K PB Learn More Undo You Can Also Check: Pune AQI | Weather in Pune | Bank Holidays in Pune | Public Holidays in Pune Vinayak Makhar, who has his workshop in Mumbai but caters to customers from Pune, Thane, and other regions, said 70-80% of the makhars are hand-painted. "We used to pay labour charges of about Rs 700-800 a day until last year. This year, because there is so much demand, we are paying labour charges of Rs 1,200 per day. We are using foam boards and sun boards to create 2D and 3D makhars," he said. Demand for decorations has also gone up by about 10-15% over last year. Shyam Kandalkar, owner, Omkar Arts, Chinchwad, said LED models of Ganapati asans are trending this year. "Customers who usually bring home idols of the same size now prefer to buy reusable décor. The demand is definitely higher by 10-15% over last year. We are using a lot of hitlon sheets in our décor," he said. Vendors also said PoP idols are lighter than shadu clay idols, so customers are confused about the decorative stands that they should purchase. "We submerge the idol along with an eco-friendly stand, so did not place the order for the makhar until the idol was finalised," said a secretary of a housing society in Pashan who did not wish to be named.

'I still occupy real estate in his head': Tesla co-founder Martin Eberhard takes a swipe at Elon Musk in rare interview

What happened next left even Elon Musk in splits In a rare and revealing interview with YouTuber Kim Java, Tesla co-founder Martin Eberhard opened up about the early days of the electric car company—and offered some sharp commentary on Elon Musk , the man who would eventually become its most recognizable how the company got its iconic name, Eberhard shared an unexpectedly charming anecdote. 'The idea of Tesla came to me because I was thinking about the motor I wanted to use. It came to me while I was on a date with a woman who became my wife,' he said. The couple were dining at the Blue Bayou restaurant inside Disneyland, overlooking the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It was there, amidst candlelight and creaky boat rides, that the name Tesla sparked to life.'Naming a company is difficult,' Eberhard reflected. 'I had thought of a lot of lame names that I didn't like.' But Tesla, a nod to the legendary inventor Nikola Tesla , struck the perfect balance between heritage and futuristic founded Tesla Motors in July 2003, long before Elon Musk entered the frame. Musk joined as an investor and became chairman of the board in 2004, later taking the reins of the company. According to him, ChatGPT would answer with complete confidence—even when it was wrong. 'I find this to be dangerous,' he said, emphasizing the risks of AI confidently providing incorrect information on topics the user might not fully asked whether reconciliation with Musk was ever on the cards, Eberhard shut down the possibility. 'No, I don't think so. No, I can't imagine how that would happen from either one of us. He's pretty set in his ways.'

Man loses Rs 1.2cr in online trading scam

Lucknow: A Lucknow resident was duped of Rs 1.29 core in an online trading scam operated via social media and messaging apps. The FIR was registered on Tuesday. Ramendra Kumar Mishra, 36, a resident of PWD Colony in Jiamau, in his complaint to Gautampalli police said he was contacted on WhatsApp by some men claiming to be representatives of an online trading platform. They promised him high financial returns if he invested money. Mishra was sent a link and persuaded to invest money through Google Pay between July 17 and 18 this month. Mishra transferred the money from his two savings accounts—one with a govt bank in Hazratganj and another with a bank in Gomtinagar. However, after transferring Rs 1.29 crore, the fraudsters demanded additional Rs 70 lakh, threatening that if he did not pay, his existing investment would be forfeited. On sensing foul play, Mishra froze his bank accounts and filed complaints with the cyber cell. He has provided police with all transaction details, bank records, and the mobile number used by the fraudster. ACP, Hazratganj, Vikas Jaiswal, said an FIR has been lodged. Police said that strict legal action will be taken against those found guilty.
