Rihanna is expecting baby No. 3 with A$AP Rocky, the rapper confirms at the 2025 Met Gala
NEW YORK (AP) — At a historic edition of the Met Gala with tons of news-making moments, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky once again stole the show.
The power couple is expecting their third child, the rapper A$AP Rocky revealed.
'It feels amazing, you know,' gala co-chair A$AP Rocky told reporters who congratulated him Monday after outlets reported the couple was expecting their third child. 'It's time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I'm glad everybody's happy for us 'cause we definitely happy, you know.'
TMZ reported earlier Monday that Rihanna and the rapper were expecting their third child.
A representative for Rihanna didn't immediately return The Associated Press' request for comment.
Photos taken of the singer Monday walking in New York showed her with what appeared to be a baby bump.
Rihanna hasn't yet walked the Met Gala carpet.
'Honestly, it's a blessing nonetheless,' Rocky told the AP. 'Because you know how like some people in other situations at times can be envious of other people. But we've been seeing love for the most part. And we real receptive to that and appreciate that, you know what I mean? That's love. Love is love.'
The couple announced their last pregnancy in a similarly starry way: At the 2023 Super Bowl, Rihanna emerged on stage for her halftime performance with baby bump on full display. Their son Riot Rose was born later that year.
The couple's first child, RZA, was born in May 2022.
Rocky is one of the 2025 Met Gala co-chairs of the menswear-theme event tied to the museum's 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. ' But his attendance at this year's Met Gala wasn't always a sure bet. That announcement came a couple months before the opening of his trial on firearms charges in Los Angeles. Rocky was ultimately found not guilty in mid-February.
At his trial, he showed his eye for fashion. He sported tailored suits and luxury labels throughout the proceedings. Yves Saint Laurent even put out press releases directing attention to his high-fashion court attire. He was clad in a pinstripe Saint Laurent suit for the verdict.
He's collaborated with several designers and brands on shoes, sunglasses and clothing collections. In December, he was honored with the Cultural Innovator Award at the British Fashion Council's Fashion Awards.

After that, the ex-first lady was rarely seen without it and it became a staple for her, making it a well-loved accessory. After her death in 1994, Sotheby's held a sale of her belongings, which did not include her watch. It wasn't until 2017 that Christie's announced a sale of the watch. An unidentified bidder won the accessory for $379,500, which was later revealed to be Kim Kardashian. The story now continues as the watch takes its new home at the V&A. 'Jackie was so private, and we are still left with traces and clues of her life. There is something to be said about keeping parts of your life private, particularly when you are serving a public life,' Kumar Nair noted. Levu's 3-run HR helps UCLA beat UC Irvine 8-5 to sweep Los Angeles Regional
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Mulivai Levu hit a three-run home run, Dean West and Payton Brennan added two RBIs apiece and UCLA jumped to a big lead and then held on to beat UC Irvine 8-5 on Sunday night and win the Los Angeles Regional. UCLA (45-16) clinched its first trip to the super regionals since 2019. Advertisement UC Irvine (43-17) beat Arizona State 11-6 in a loser-out game earlier Sunday. The Anteaters made back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time since they went to six straight tourneys from 2006-11. Roman Martin's RBI single off Finnegan Wall (0-1) in the first inning made it 1-0 and the Bruins led the rest of the way. Cashel Dugger hit a single in the second that drove in Brennan, who doubled to lead off the inning, and then scored on a sacrifice fly by Roch Cholowsky to make it 3-0. Dugger and Phoenix Call drew back-to-back walks to lead off the fourth and West followed with a bunt single to load the bases. Australia's two-time World Cup champion Glenn Maxwell retires from one-day international cricket
MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — Two-time World Cup champion Glenn Maxwell is retiring from one-day international cricket in a bid to play a role in Australia's push for a Twenty20 world title next year. Cricket Australia confirmed Maxwell's decision Monday. The 36-year-old Maxwell played 149 ODIs for Australia in an enduring career that is memorable for his unbeaten double-century in the 2023 World Cup, his unconventional shot-making and his brilliant fielding. Advertisement Maxwell said the physical toll of the ODI game, which can take up to eight hours and be played on short turnarounds, was beginning to impact on his fielding ability and he didn't think he'd make it to the 2027 World Cup. 'I always said I wasn't going to hand my position over if I felt like I was still good enough to play. I didn't want to just hold on for a couple of series and almost play for selfish reasons," Maxwell said. The Australian selectors 'are moving in such a clear direction,' he said, so the retirement confirmation "gives them the best look at what the lineup is leading into that next World Cup. I know how important that planning is.' Australia's selection chairman George Bailey said Maxwell was one of the one-day game's most dynamic players and played a key role in two ODI World Cup titles.
