Prince's Security Allegedly 'Intervened' In Diddy Attack Against Cassie
A former assistant of Sean 'Diddy' Combs testified that Prince's security team allegedly stepped in and stopped a violent attack against Casandra Fine. The woman shared her story under the condition of anonymity and took the stand under the name Mia and was identified as Victim-4.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, Mia worked for Combs from 2009 to 2017. During her employment, she was allegedly overworked and sexually assaulted multiple times by the Harlem native. While under oath, Mia detailed that she and Fine, who was then recognized by her stage name Cassie, became like sisters. Her account described that when the two women did something without the approval of Combs, there were 'unpredictable and terrifying' consequences.
Mia testified that the night Prince's staff intervened, she was commanded to stay with the 'Official Girl' singer while Combs visited his children. While the two women were secluded at their hotel, a friend allegedly called with an invitation to attend a party hosted by the legendary musician.
'Cass and I debated like little kids if we should sneak out of the house for probably what felt like forever,' recalled Mia.
They decided to attend the affair, and once at the private event, spotted Combs before running out. According to her testimony, 'Puff caught Cass.'
'He caught up to her and had her on the ground,' Mia exclaimed. 'He started attacking her, but Prince's security swiftly intervened.'
The next day, she was allegedly suspended without pay for 'being insubordinate.'
In her testimony earlier this month, Fine also recalled the violent night.
'I caught a glimpse of him, left the party, and ran out as fast as I could,' the 38-year-old testified according to PEOPLE. 'I knew he was angry at me,' she shared as she continued to detail running, falling into the bushes, and eventually making it back to her hotel room before Combs burst in the door.
'We went into the bedroom and he beat me up,' she claimed. 'He threw luggage at me, calling me all kinds of names.'
Combs is currently standing trial for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Bills QB Josh Allen and actor Hailee Steinfeld marry in Southern California
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and actor Hailee Steinfeld tied the knot on Saturday, according to multiple media reports. Pictures emerged from the power couple's wedding that took place in Southern California, where both Allen and Steinfeld live. Photos obtained by 'People' magazine show Steinfeld, in a white strapless gown, walking down the aisle as well as the couple sharing a kiss. The timing and location of the wedding were closely guarded secrets, though Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins let the cat out of the bag in March by revealing the date as May 31. He later backtracked, saying he didn't know anything. Despite the pending wedding, Allen was present for the start of the Bills voluntary series of spring practices, which opened on Tuesday. The Bills return to practice on Monday, though Allen isn't scheduled to address the media until the Bills open their mandatory sessions on June 10. Allen, who turned 29 last week, and the 28-year-old Steinfeld were engaged during the Bills bye week in November, when the quarterback proposed on a California cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The two were first linked in the spring of 2023, when they were photographed dining together in New York City. Steinfeld has since begun attending Bills home games and the couple was inseparable at the NFL Awards ceremony in February, when Allen credited Steinfeld upon accepting the league's MVP honor. Allen followed suit in April in being spotted with Steinfeld arriving for an after-party following premier of the movie 'Sinners,' which stars Steinfeld. Steinfeld began her acting career at the age of 10, and earned an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for her role as Mattie Ross in the Coen brothers' 2010 remake of 'True Grit.' Allen is entering his eighth NFL season. In March, he signed a contract extension worth $330 million.

NEWS OF THE WEEK: Judge denies Sean 'Diddy' Combs' bid for mistrial
The hip-hop mogul's lawyers had called for a mistrial in his federal racketeering conspiracy and sex-trafficking trial, alleging misconduct by prosecutors in the case. They argued that prosecutors had improperly suggested and implied through questioning that Combs was involved in the destruction of evidence tied to the investigation into rapper Scott Mescudi's (Kid Cudi's) car being firebombed. Their request was quickly denied by the judge. "There was absolutely no testimony from the witness that was prejudicial in any way, shape or form," Judge Arun Subramanian countered.
