Jack Osbourne shares story of 'picky eater' Ozzy Osbourne

Perth Nowa day ago
Jack Osbourne has told how his dad Ozzy Osbourne was a "picky eater".
The 39-year-old star has yet to publicly comment on the passing of the Black Sabbath frontman - who died last month aged 76 - but in an appearance on UK TV show Cooking with the Stars which aired on Sunday (03.08.25) but was filmed prior to the Paranoid rocker's passing, Jack spoke about mealtimes when he was young.
He said: "I grew up on potato waffles until we moved to America.
"We would get take out all the time — apart from times when we had a chef."
Jack - who was 11 when the family left England for the US - joked Ozzy never kept any chef on staff for too long because he was a "picky eater".
He added: "[He'd suddenly decide] 'No, I don't like it anymore,' even though it's some amazing chef."
While Jack hasn't yet spoken about Ozzy's death, his ex-wife Lisa Stelly - the mother of his daughters Pearl, 13, Andie, 10, and seven-year-old Minnie - recently took to Instagram to share some photos of the rocker with his granddaughters over the years.
She captioned her post: "The world got Ozzy. We got Papa. One of one. Larger than life. It hurts to say goodbye, but what a gift it was to have him. We will never stop missing you."
Jack also has three-year-old daughter Maple with wife Aree Gearhart.
His sister, Kelly Osbourne, recently broke her silence on Instagram, poignantly sharing the lyrics from Black Sabbath's song Changes, which she and her dad released a version of in 2003.
She wrote: "I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had [broken heart emoji]. (sic)"
At Ozzy's public funeral procession last week, both Jack and Kelly shared subtle tributes to their dad.
Kelly honoured Ozzy's distinct sense of style with a pair of round blue-tinted glasses and her brother wore a black Chrome Hearts tie with a silver cross embellishment in a nod to his dad's fondness for cross jewellery.
And their sister Aimee Osbourne, who typically stays out of the spotlight, referenced Ozzy's notorious bat-biting incident from 1982 by wearing a brooch in the shape of the winged mammal.
Their mother, Sharon Osbourne, leant over to place a pink rose down and what appeared to be Ozzy's wedding ring could be seen dangling from a long chain around her neck.

‘Destroyed my life': Vladimir Putin's ‘secret daughter' slams him in cryptic post

Don't miss out on the headlines from Leaders. Followed categories will be added to My News. Russian President Vladimir Putin's alleged secret daughter has spoken out against her father in a cryptic post, condemning the man who 'destroyed' her and 'took millions of lives'. Elizaveta Krivonogikh, a 22-year-old art school graduate living in Paris who is believed to be the leader's youngest daughter, shared the messages on her private Telegram, in line with her increasing openness on Instagram as she's started to share more images of herself, The New York Post reported. 'It's liberating to be able to show my face to the world again,' she wrote, according to German magazine Bild. 'It reminds me of who I am and who destroyed my life.' The Telegram chat, named 'Art of Luiza', references her work pseudonym Luiza Rozova. Ms Krivonogikh didn't explicitly name Putin in either post, but has also never shot down the popular theories surrounding her true parentage. The budding artist was born in 2003 after a suspected affair between Putin and her mother, Svetlana, the President's then-housekeeper. The bombshell was first revealed after a 2020 investigation by Russian media outlet Proekt, citing Ms Krivonogikh's 'phenomenal resemblance' to Putin. He isn't listed on her birth certificate, but 'Vladimirovna' was included, translating to 'daughter of Vladimir'. In 2021, slain journalist and Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny exposed Ms Krivonogikh's Instagram, which showcased her life of luxury and her family's staggering wealth that many have attributed to their connection with the country's pesident. While Ms Krivonogikh originally celebrated life in the spotlight, she retreated after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2021 and her Instagram was suddenly shut down. She's since returned to the platform, but was more reserved in her posting at first, hiding her face in many photos. She's now seemingly changed her tune – and swapped sides on the devastating war after previously mourning her inability to 'make an extra lap around my beloved St Petersburg'. Ms Krivonogikh has since denounced her previous lifestyle of obscene wealth, speaking openly against her alleged father's actions in Ukraine. She also works in a Parisian art gallery that specialises in anti-war works. Ms Krivonogikh also adopted an extra pseudonym, Elizaveta Rudnova, inspired by Putin's late ally Oleg Rudnov – a cheeky stab at her elusive parentage. Still, critics of Putin haven't quite bought her reshaped image and insist that she shouldn't be working in a space where she could be interacting with Ukrainians, regardless of her stance. 'Am I really responsible for the activities of my family, who can't even hear me?' Ms Krivonogikh wrote. Putin is also rumoured to share two secret sons, a 10-year-old and a six-year-old, with his former gymnast lover and Olympic gold medallist Alina Kabaeva. Lil Tay claims she made $1 million within hours of setting up an OnlyFans account. Shortly after turning 18 on July 29, the internet personality launched her own account on the explicit subscription service platform and says the money started flowing in immediately. She posted a screenshot on Instagram of her earnings including $511,003.79 in subscriptions, $26,736.19 in tips and $486,558.11 in messages, adding up to over $1 million in total. She wrote: '$1M in 3 hours. We broke the f*** out of that onlyfans record . Come see content I took of myself at 12:01AM on my 18th BDAY. ONLY AVAILABLE FOR 24hrs.' She also wrote: '$1M IN 3 HOURS. LIL TAY RICH AND FINNA GET RICHER.' Announcing her account on the platform, Lil Tay previously posted a picture of herself wearing a 'pornstar in training' top and wrote: 'I DID IT. LINK IN BIO. ALL CONTENT SHOT @ 12:01AM ON MY 18th BIRTHDAY. Bday special only available for 24 hours. Come talk to me.' Lil Tay – whose real name is Claire Eileen Qi Hope - first found fame at just nine years old when her foulmouthed videos started going viral. She later pivoted to rapping and has worked with stars including Bhad Bhabie, Jake Paul and Diplo. The young star was embroiled in controversy in 2023 when someone posted a false statement on her Instagram account claimed she had died, along with her brother Jason Tian. The statement said: 'It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire's sudden and tragic passing. We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain. This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother's passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief. 'During this time of immense sorrow, we kindly ask for privacy as we grieve this overwhelming loss. Claire will forever remain in our hearts, her absence leaving an irreplaceable void that will be felt by all who knew and loved her.' There was confusion as her management appeared to confirm the death to Us Weekly, saying: 'With profound regret, we confirm the accuracy of the statement.' However, just one day later, Tay revealed she was alive and said she was 'trying to sort out this mess'. She told TMZ: 'I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I'm completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say. It's been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess.'

Margaret Qualley felt 'lonely' in relationships before Jack Antonoff

Margaret Qualley felt 'lonely' in relationships before falling for Jack Antonoff. The 30-year-old actress and the 41-year-old musician got married in August 2023 on Long Beach Island after first meeting 'right as COVID was ending' and Margaret knew Jack was the one because she always felt 'safe' with him. She told Cosmopolitan magazine: 'Falling in love with Jack was the biggest feeling I've ever felt. We met right as COVID was ending, at the first party I'd been to. We saw each other on a roof, and we just started talking and never stopped. We went on a series of walks throughout the city that summer. 'In every other relationship I've ever been in, I still felt really lonely because I wasn't with my person, and it's like I was seeking something. I don't feel like that anymore. Jack makes me feel safe and comfortable. 'I spent so many years trying to be someone's perfect girl, and that girl changed over and over again. But I can't lie to Jack. I can't be that for him - he'd see through it. So, I just have to be myself. He's been the person I've pictured my whole life. And I'm not even saying that metaphorically. My first crush was Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy, and I've been looking for that essence my whole life. I'm like, 'That's Jack.'' And Margaret's sister Rainey Qualley, takes full credit for them getting together. She said: 'I was recording at Electric Lady, where Jack Antonoff works. We'd heard he was looking for forever love. So, when there was a small party on the roof and I had a bit too much to drink, I proceeded to tell Jack that he needed to date my sister!' Margaret also revealed Jack said 'I love you' first. She said: 'I'm very old-school about stuff like this. I would never put myself out there first. I never text twice. I mean, now we're married and I can text him anything at any time. We're always having a conversation; he's like my human diary. But before we were together, at the beginning, I would always follow Southern girl etiquette.' And, she shared her hopes of having children with Jack, saying: 'I want kids. I'm not there this second - I know there's a lot of stuff I don't know - but I've always wanted kids. Even as a little kid, I would imagine having babies.'
