Emmerdale first look as Aaron and Robert kiss after emotional confession
Two exes give into temptation on Emmerdale next week, and now a first-look clip has revealed the moment ahead of it airing. Aaron Dingle and ex-husband Robert Sugden finally confess their true feelings in an upcoming episode, and one thing leads to another.
With a concerned Aaron desperate to help Robert amid his spiralling mental health, he tells his soulmate (let's face it) that he "just needs to get him better". As an emotional Robert shares his fears that he has no one and nothing left, thoughts put in his mind by his evil brother John Sugden, Aaron's confused as to why Robert would think he "didn't want to know".
It's then that he admits how he really feels and why he's been so distant, amid his marriage to John. It comes as spoilers confirmed the pair would give into temptation amid hopes from fans that Robron will reunite, ahead of killer John's downfall.
In the new video preview we see the aftermath of Robert breaking down and trashing his room. Unable to take anymore he loses control with Aaron forced to intervene, shocked by just how broken Robert is.
As the pair head downstairs, a numb Robert is on the sofa as Aaron does his best to comfort him. He's desperate to get him some help, while Robert considers leaving and claims he has nothing left in the village to keep him there.
Aaron soon confesses what's really been going on, and how he has deliberately pushed Robert away to avoid temptation. He says: "We both know what will happen if we get too close."
As Robert asks if they are both "fighting feelings", Aaron says: "I didn't say that. Right now all that matters is getting you better while you have still got people who care about you."
Robert suggests his sister Victoria doesn't want to know him after the incident with Harry, with John telling him as such. Aaron adds: "She loves you. She wants to help you, I wanna help you. Even John does and he knows all about PTSD from the army."
As Robert tries to change the topic he makes a jibe about Aaron's cooking, sending them on a brief trip down memory lane. But Robert's soon left sad again, telling Aaron: "Thanks for being here. I'm sure you've got better things to do than sit around with your tragic ex."
Aaron replies: "No, not really. I've missed you." As the pair stare for a moment Robert leans in and kisses Aaron, with him soon reciprocating. One thing leads to another - but will they be caught out?

Kim Kardashian took a trip down memory lane as she shared a never-before-seen photo with her late father Robert Kardashian on Sunday. The reality TV star, 44, took to Instagram with the nostalgic image, which featured her as a little girl standing next to the attorney — who died at the age of 59 from esophageal cancer — and her mom Kris Jenner, 69. Kris was married to Robert from 1978 until their divorce in 1991. Aside from Kim, they also welcomed daughters Kourtney, 46, and Khloe, 41, as well as son Rob, 38. Kim — who recently tried to purchase a family heirloom connected to her father but was rejected — was 22 years old when her father passed away from in September 2003. 'Dad, Mom and Me,' the SKIMS founder captioned the post In 1998, seven years after his divorce from Kris was finalized, Robert married Jan Ashley; however, the marriage ended in annulment 30 days later. After dating for three years, the Los Angeles native married his third wife, Ellen Pierson (née Markowitz), six weeks prior to his death. Meanwhile Kris married Olympic decathlete Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce), 75, in 1991, shortly after her divorce from Robert was finalized. They had two daughters together, Kendall, 29, and Kylie Jenner, 28. Kim is currently studying to become a lawyer, like her father. In May, she completed her law school program after a six year journey. She still needs to pass the Bar Exam to practice law in the state. In 2020, Kim said she hoped that her father would be 'so proud' to see her pursuing a career in law and says whenever she gets 'frustrated' with studying, she thinks of him. 'He must've been going through some of the same things that I have gone through. It would have been exciting to talk to him about that, and I know that he would be so, so proud,' she said. Kim has been working on prison reform in recent years, and hopes setting up her own law firm will help get former inmates into work. In March, Kim's attempt to purchase a family heirloom connected to her late father was rejected by O.J. Simpson's estate. The estate's executor, Malcom LaVergne, revealed that they, sadly, had to turn down her $15,000 offer on the Bible her dad gifted Simpson, who died on April 10, 2024, because it was 'too late to purchase it outside the auction.' Kim is currently studying to become a lawyer, like her father. In May, she completed her law school program after a six year journey. She still needs to pass the Bar Exam to practice law LaVergne revealed to TMZ that Kim's team contacted him the month prior, after learning some of Simpson's personal effects were going up for auction. This included a Bible, featuring a handwritten note inside, penned by Robert to Simpson. The inscription reads: 'OJ, this book will help. God loves you and he will speak to you with his words. Read this book every day. God has a definite plan for your life. You are His child and He will use you again. I love you and God loves you. - Robert.' LaVergne previously revealed that the bible was given to 'The Juice' while he was in jail after his two-hour chase across Southern California in his white Ford Bronco. Inside the front cover, there contains an inscription to Simpson from Kardashian that is dated June 18, 1994 - exactly a day after the former NFL star's arrest. In an email sent to LaVergne from Kim's team, he was informed that due to the 'sentimental value' the item held to Kim, she was 'willing to offer $15,000' to purchase the Bible. By the time he received the email, LaVergne says the Bible 'was already under contract and court order to be sold to pay off O.J.'s debt.' Just weeks after the late NFL star's estate turned down Kim's offer to buy it, the family heirloom officially sold at auction for $65,800 — or $80,276 with its buyer's premium, according to its listing on Goldin Auctions' website. The item received 49 bids total. Robert, a devout Christian, and Simpson met in the 1960s or 1970s while they were both at the University of Southern California (USC). Later, they reconnected while playing tennis at a mutual friend's house. Robert infamously supported Simpson during his 1995 trial for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

He concluded that he didn't know "how to cope" in the aftermath of the break-up as Elma agreed to give him time to let him come to terms with his emotions following their chat. ITV Granada interviewed me though and I simply said the pug had more game than me.' They added: 'To all the people saying this should be an annual event, it's happening next summer as well. I believe the names thrown about were Deirdre Barlow or Luke Littler.' The real Richard Madeley reportedly faced the axe from Good Morning as ITV issued sweeping changes to its daytime programming. The 69-year-old host has been a staple of the morning news show since 2017 alongside co-host Susanna Reid and was said to be receiving a lucrative £300k salary for the gig before this 'bloodbath'. On ITV Richard shared a candid insight into his 35-year marriage with fellow TV icon Judy. Recounting moments of strain in his relationship, he said: 'Well, I mean, sometimes, you'd have a row. And you'd get to work not talking. But the show was a cure.' 'I mean, it wasn't, like, false, you actually did genuinely have to come on and do the double act. You would find that within maybe 15, 20 minutes of going on air.' 'You'd just forgotten all about it because you were both focusing on the job. And so it was a very good way of processing a row.'
