WWE news: Ric Flair confirms second cancer diagnosis in 3 years
It's unfortunate to say, but Ric Flair is gearing up for another real-life fight. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer told PEOPLE magazine he has been diagnosed with skin cancer, making it the second time in three years that he's faced the illness, SI reports.

Flair confirmed he'll begin treatment next week and thanked his supporters for the outpouring of concern. After initially denying health reports on social media to keep the matter private, he decided now was the time to share the news. 'I appreciate the concerns!' he said, grateful for the messages from fans who have followed his storied career.
The wrestling icon has stared down death before. In 2017, Flair suffered multiple organ failures due to alcohol abuse. Doctors gave him just a 20 percent chance of surviving. He was placed in a medically induced coma, had part of his bowel removed, and received a pacemaker.
'I crashed in an airplane and broke my back, I've been hit by lightning,' Flair told PEOPLE back then. 'But this is totally different. Anything I've been through before is nothing like this.'
Resilience in and out of the ring
Flair's journey has been marked by both triumph and trauma. His struggles with health and addiction were at the center of the 2022 Peacock documentary Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair. Former partner Wendy Barlow discussed how deeply the physical and emotional toll affected him behind the scenes.

Even after everything, Flair returned to the ring for one last match in 2022. He teamed with son-in-law Andrade to defeat AEW stars Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in a match that felt more like a tribute to his legacy than a battle for bragging rights.
He most recently appeared on AEW's Collision on May 17, participating in a tribute to former NFL player and fellow wrestler Steve 'Mongo' McMichael.

After filming the first season of her show in the home, Meghan revealed her reasons for refusing to allow the Montecito mansion she shares with husband Prince Harry to be used as the primary set—explaining that she felt a strong desire to maintain it as a "safe haven" for her family. "I wanted to protect that safe haven," she told People. "We're a close-knit family, and I love those moments—putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day. "Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that's a lot of people to have in your house!" Fortunately, Netflix producers managed to find a property just a few miles away that served as the perfect backdrop for a luxury lifestyle show. Nestled on a five-acre plot of land, the main farmhouse boasts a chic and elegant decor worthy of a Nancy Meyers movie—or a Meghan Markle docuseries—and features an open floor plan and ample windows that flood the home with plenty of light. An additional barn on the property provides another filming location, while the picturesque grounds—which are filled with lemon and avocado trees—served as a picture-perfect backdrop for Meghan's latest project. It is not the first time that Meghan has borrowed another home to film an "at-home" style Netflix show. When she and Harry filmed their controversial 2022 documentary, aptly titled "Meghan & Harry," the couple did so in a $30 million estate not far from their own house. That property—which boasts six bedrooms, 6.5 bathroom, and a 2-acre plot—is currently on the market, having been used by the Sussexes only briefly while they were filming their interviews for the dramatic series. Much like the first season of her show, the second run of episodes will see Meghan welcoming a host of high-profile guests into the dwelling, with the trailer showing her making jewelry with Chrissy Teigen, sitting down at a pottery wheel with pilates guru Heather Durak, and cooking with famed chef José Andrés. Other guests include Christina Tosi, Clare Smyth, Daniel Martin, David Chang, Jamie Kern Lima, Jay Shetty, Radhi Devlukia, Samin Nosrat, and Tan France. However, that contract extension comes with some caveats, with sources telling Page Six that the new deal is worth much less than the $100 million they were reportedly paid for their first partnership with the streaming site. Still, Meghan and Harry were quick to celebrate the news, with the former saying in a statement that she was "proud" to continue her work with Netflix, which is also collaborating with her on her lifestyle brand, As Ever. "We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand," she said. "My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally and celebrates our shared vision." On Monday, on what would have the wrestling icon's 72nd birthday, his ex-wife shared a sweet tribute on Instagram. Linda (nee Claridge) married the WWE legend (real name Terry Bollea) roughly two years after that snap was taken. They had two kids, Brooke, 37, and Nick, 35, who were also costars of the VH1 reality show 'Hogan Knows Best,' documenting their often wacky lives. Hulk and Linda separated the same year the show was canceled, 2007. Their divorce finalized in 2009. Hulk went on to marry makeup artist Jennifer McDaniel a year later, and split after a little more than a decade. The Real American Beer founder was married to yoga instructor Sky Daily, whom he wed in 2023, at the time of his passing. As for Hogan's relationship with his first wife? Not much was known about their dynamic until a few months ago. In the spring, Linda appeared in a disturbing social media video lifting the lid on the dysfunction in the family. The erstwhile TV matriarch tearfully revealed that she had been estranged from Brooke for years, and that her famous ex was not only a 'liar' and 'sex addict,' but also to blame for not healing the rifts. 'I've given him more opportunities to come back and make up the family,' the 65-year-old sobbed. 'It's been 20 years and I'm still this sad. Somebody please explain that.' After Brooke clapped back at her mom in her own posts, Hulk broke his silence in the form of a video of him jokingly eating popcorn with Daily. Linda obviously wasn't offended by the popular entertainer's lack of sympathy and had obviously forgiven him. After his death, she told her followers that she was 'devastated.'
