'WWE Raw' Adds Top 'NXT' Star to Main Roster Days Before MITB

'WWE Raw' Adds Top 'NXT' Star to Main Roster Days Before MITB originally appeared on Athlon Sports. WWE has wasted little time calling up a huge "NXT" star to join the "Monday Night Raw" roster. Recently, Cory Hays of PW Nexus reported that Stephanie Vaquer would be on her way to "WWE Raw," while Jordynne Grace would be sent to "Friday Night SmackDown." Advertisement It was later reported that Ricky Saints is also expected to make his way to the main roster. As it turns out, WWE is bringing up one of those stars to the "Monday Night Raw" brand. In a new social media post just before Friday's episode of "SmackDown," the red brand's general manager, Adam Pearce, announced that Vaquer is now a full-time member of "WWE Raw." Pearce also revealed that Vaquer will share the ring with Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile in a triple threat MITB qualifier. Monday night actually won't be Vaquer's debut on "WWE Raw." She first appeared for the brand during the April 21 episode. She took on reigning WWE Women's World Champion Iyo Sky in a match that did not have a winner. The following week, Vaquer pinned Nile in a singles match. Advertisement Vaquer recently lost the "NXT" Women's Championship to Jayce Jayne in a shocker. It soon became clear that the decision to have "La Primera" removed from the top female prize in "NXT" was made to bring her to the main roster. During an appearance on "Busted Open After Dark," Vaquer said that she chose to be a part of the "NXT" brand to start her run on WWE TV. The seasoned veteran explained that she wanted to adjust to the American style of televised wrestling before being in the limelight. Another Popular WWE Veteran Expected to Leave Company

Another Popular WWE Veteran Expected to Leave Company originally appeared on Athlon Sports. It appears another popular star on WWE TV will soon be departing the company. Fans were stunned after R-Truth revealed WWE has decided not to renew his contract. The news has reportedly been met with overwhelming negativity. Some internally believed that R-Truth was a "WWE lifer," but the decision makers clearly thought otherwise. Advertisement R-Truth won't be alone, it seems. PWInsider is reporting that Carlito also isn't expected to have his deal renewed. Carlito is currently a member of The Judgment Day faction on "WWE Raw." While Carlito isn't involved in marquee singles programs, he has served as a bit of a comic relief character in the group. While many fans believed it could lead to Carlito wearing championship gold on Monday Nights, few expected to hear the news that The Judgment Day member won't be sticking around for much longer. At this time, the expiration date of Carlito's contract is unknown. Carlito first joined WWE through Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2003. He made his main roster debut the following year, defeating John Cena for the WWE United States Championship. Advertisement Carlito remained with the company until his release in 2010. The Puerto Rican veteran returned to WWC and performed on the independent scene before making sporadic appearances for WWE in 2021. At "WWE Backlash 2023," Carlito made a surprise appearance to help music star Bad Bunny and members of the LWO faction. He signed a full-time deal with WWE soon after. WWE Announces Huge Match for 'Monday Night Raw' Ahead of MITB 2025

WWE Announces Huge Match for 'Monday Night Raw' Ahead of MITB 2025 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. A big match has been added to "WWE Raw" on Monday. The red brand will emanate from the BOK Center in Tulsa. Featured on the show will be a women's MITB qualifying match between Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, and Ivy Nile. That isn't the only major match scheduled for "Monday Night Raw." Advertisement "Raw's" general manager Adam Pearce hopped on social media to announce that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso will team with Sami Zayn to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The match was announced amid Zayn's current rivalry with the Paul Heyman-led faction of Seth Rollins, Breakker, and Reed. This will be Reed's first match since "Survivor Series 2024." Reed broke his talus bone during the match after diving off the top of a pod for the Tsunami splash. At the conclusion of last week's episode of "WWE Raw," Rollins qualified for the men's MITB match. After the match, Rollins, Breakker, and Reed tried attacking Uso and Zayn, but CM Punk laid Rollins out with a GTS to close the show. Punk will be involved in a men's MITB ladder match, so Rollins' faction might be quite busy on Monday. Advertisement Uso also has other business to handle, as he prepares for a marquee tag team match at "Money in the Bank 2025." He will team with "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes to take on Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul on Saturday. Many wonder if Uso will crack under the pressure of being a world champion, which he addressed during last week's episode of "WWE Raw."
